Happy Thanksgiving! I ate 5071 calories today. Also, I can't move....

Good thing about having to work and no family, I don't have to worry about that.

Low Cal Enchiladas for Thanksgiving. They were only 800 calories apiece.

My kitty's chin is looking back to normal. I think our girl kitty beat his ol' man azz...she is a fan of the "put ya in a chokehold and kick the shizz outta your chin" kinda gal and I think she got the best of him! But he looks good now! Phew!

I had a good Thanksgiving or two but I must say that running around on your days off...makes it feel like I need a day off! My step sister in law got hella drunk on Thanksgiving, it was great. She is normally a pretty reserved chick (at least around us, which is weird, because none of us are...but she is the youngest) so it was funny seeing her let loose...REAL loose. :p

Glad the kitty is doing better!
I got hella drunk the day BEFORE Thanksgiving...
I only ate 5000 calories for a contest someone instigated in the Confession group I am in.
5 or 6 participants but only 3 made it past the 5k mark. (Yes I am a little proud  )
I put on 8 pounds in one day.
Thankfully, I woke up Friday and 3 of them were already gone. Kept drinking water and then another one bit the dust before I had to head to work.
I know I'm capable of losing the last 4 pounds in a few days if it's just sodium based weight(pretty sure it is, stuffing and gravy are like sodium BOMBS). A couple weeks if it's not sodium based and I'll be back on track.

I've decided that even if there IS a 5000 calorie challenge for X-mas, count me OUT!

Technically, she got drunk the day before too...we did that side of the family Wed night...my fam Thursday.

I like the sound of that challenge. "What are your holiday plans?" "Oh, I'm doing a 5k challenge..." ;)

Man oh man..I am tired. My stomach is confused..when it's hungry it doesn't say "I'm hungry" now, it just gets ANGRY! :rage:
Plus being cold makes my tummy upset. I don't know who the genius was that thought 65 degrees was a good temp for the office but I want to kick them in the FACE!
Of course I can't change it because it's in an administrator's office that only the police officers have the key to...no officer on duty until SUNDAY NIGHT!

I'm getting tired of clients questioning why I recommend doing something and then when I tell them why, they say, "I was just asking, you don't have to get short!" You think when I've got a waiting room full of clients I'm recommending something to kill time?

Give them the short answer "To take your money" :naughty:

65...that's perfect! That is what my thermostat is set at!

Angry instead of hungry...that is what an ulcer feels like...feels like you are HUNGRY...NOW...like, STARVING hungry...nausea and hunger at the same time. Then you eat one bite of something and everything is fine...wtf...

I ate too much on Thanksgiving, mainly protein things like turkey, ham, salmon, and prime rib. The following night the idea of eating anything meat related turned me off. Instead of leftovers, I mostly had some light veggies yesterday at work. I think I will have the left overs tonight though as I don't want the food to go to waste.

I've had an ulcer before. This is more like...just nauseous. But I know I haven't eaten in a while so I KNOW I HAVE to eat. Or like I'm too cold.

Yes, my stomach gets upset if I am too cold. :flushed:

I force fed myself some mashed sweet potatoes, turkey, and green bean casserole leftovers tonight for lunch. Now I just want water and coffee.

Great! I was a bit nervous so I had a couple of beers before hand to remove a little of the nervous edge.

I'm working so that helps, but when clients drop off Pumpkin Pie, I can't let it go to waste, or is that waist?

This whole week is pretty much a fail as far as calories go, I'll be working it off for the next few weeks. But, eh, you know, sometimes it's worth it.

Soooo...I basically spent the past week feeling like a complete heel because of a situation with a guy that I handled badly. Like, I feel way worse for hurting him than I do for my own sake. Sigh...

Well, that makes sense...no one likes hurting others. (Well, some do but that is beside the point.) Can you do anything to rectify it now? Or is the damage done?

I extricated myself from the situation as cleanly as possible, but I can't do anything to go back and repair any damage unfortunately.

Well, from an outsider's persepctive without any details, it doesn't sound like you did anything horrible. I feel like ya wanna confess though...we're all ears if you choose to. And no ears if you don't. ;)

I guess there's not really all that much to tell...he and I were talking quite a bit...it finally came to my attention that due to life circumstances, it was never going to work out. Now, if I had been paying attention in the first place, I would've realized that and never let an attachment of that kind develop on either side. As it stood, I kind of had to just awkwardly cut things off. I gave some explanation, but it probably seemed pointlessly harsh on my end as to how I ultimately had to go about it.

Still vague, I know. But it's...sorta the best I can do?

Oh, I'm not TRYING to get you to spill all da beans...just an invitation to spill them if you need to...sometimes you just need to...expel. Tell as much as you need to but don't feel the need to give any info you don't want to. I'm not trying to pry...just offering a sounding board if you wanted outsiders' opinions. :)

(I'll be honest and say that OF COURSE it piqued my interest and OF COURSE I'm kinda nosy...but I totally understand not wanting to air your dirty (or clean) laundry.) ;)

Ha! I guess I did want to confess...it just seems like ultimately there's not that much to tell! Sigh...even my messes are vanilla...lol!

Jennifer, You need to look at it differently. You saved a bigger heartache down the road by not pretending everything was fine. I would rather know where I stand early on than to feel I've been strung along. I'm not saying it doesn't seem awkward at the time, but it will be better this way.

@sufferlandrian-sure, I agree that I ultimately did the right thing. Where I screwed up was letting it go as far as it did. But, I suppose it could've been worse, had I let it go further. Just, he's a good guy and really, I did lead him on some.

    @jennifer_417 what @sufferlandrian said..
Also..I still have not shaken those last 3 pounds gained from Thanksgiving but I'm okay with that. Slow changes have been noted.
I have Christmas shopping done for my mother, my uncle, and SSP. I still have almost NO IDEA what to get my dad....
