What would I have done differently? UGH - this weekend wasn't my best as far as eating. Saturday night I went to my brother in-law's 50th bday party. I'm pretty sure I grazed the entire time. Today is a new day and I had a good week last week - worked out 5 days. I'm enjoying Zumba on Saturday mornings.

I didn't do Zumba on Saturday. I didn't do the Zumbathon Saturday afternoon. No walk... no tracking. I'm not sure how I expect things to change if I don't make the change. I need to track... track everything and be accountable. Focus on controlling food/eating this week. Keep portions under control (and this includes the weekend too).

That is my goal for the week. :flowerforyou:

Hi Gals! I am going to check in with you at least once a week, so am setting a spring goal and weekly exercise goals.

Goldk - don't be so hard on yourself, you have had a tough couple of months, just try to concentrate on one or two things that you really want to change this week - maybe tracking and measuring? My goal this week is to get in some activity (like a walk, or stationary bike) on my non-YMCA days.

    March 30-April 5
Did you stay within your nutritional goals? some days yes, some days no
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? didn't do as well as I hoped with food on our weekend mini-spring break in Wisc. Dells, but I walked a ton ... 17,000 steps on Saturday with doing nothing extra except walking around our hotel to and from the waterparks and othe actvities
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I tried ZIPLINING at the dells. I was uncomfortable trying it because of my weight and age ... and I am VERY, VERY, VERY afraid of heights .... but I DID IT ANYWAY!!!! So that my 13yo would have someone to do it with him. He was pretty scared too, but we both enjoyed it. I would have to say that jumping off the towers was really, really hard for me after the first one. The first one not so much because I was more worried about my son doing it, but on the 2nd jump off I was pretty comical - I would sway forward, then back, then forward, and back ... and finally dragged my one foot as I reluctantly jumped off. But I MADE it, and it was fun!
What would I have done differently? Had more self-control last night.

GW at the end of the Spring check in? 225

    exercise plan for this week:
    Sun. - walking at hotel
    Mon. - step?
Tue. - zumba or body pump?
    Wed. - walk?
    Thu. - step
    Fri. - step
Sat. - step & body pump

    Hello ladies,

I just got back last night and had a wonderful week in Jamaica.

I am not getting on the scale as yet, got to get rid of the water retention first then on the
scale and back to Phase 1 for two weeks to get rid of the vacation weight.
No exercise today doing laundry and getting groceries because nothing in the house.
I will start back next week with the rest of you.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No, TOTM is here and I'm devouring everything - still at a calorie deficit though.
    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? N/A
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I went to the gym instead of shopping - had the biggest urge to go bikini shopping.
What would I have done differently? Stretch my body out - I've been sore for the last 3 days.
What is today's personal goals? Figure out what I want to do at the gym and try to stick to today's meal plan.

    SW: 140
    CW: 133
GW at the end of the Spring check in? 125 or less

Sun- Ate like a monster - burned 400 calories at the gym via Arc Trainer

Mon - Family dinner at a Chinese restaurant, ate like a monster, went over calories by 86 but I did burn 700 calories from Body Shred and Body Pump

Tues - Almost kept to my macros/micros but I went in for the carrot cake w/icing and chocolate covered cranberries but I did burn approximately 600 calories from Circuit Training and cardio machine for cool-down

Wed - Haven't figured out what I want to do at the gym yet.

    Thurs - Body Combat

Fri - Legs - Increase weights

Sat - Probably eat like a monster again

Hi there decided to join this message board as it may work for me. Have just connected back with Fitpal after some time away , so will be checking in everyday
Aim is to get my eating habits back on track & lose some weight and get back my fitness along the way I have really let things slip - I have just submitted my PhD last week after many years completing it whilst also working, raising a family etc, and think I used the stress of the last few weeks to go off track. I generally manage to get back to a steady weight but this is always 5 or so kilos more than I want to be.

For me it will be an Autumn check in -as I an in the soutehr hemisphere; good motivation is to fit back into ski-pants which I am sure are too snug now :(

really like the questions to answer - forgot to copy over but will tomorrow

My personal achievement today was getting back into fitpal and taking the dog for an early morning run (used to do daily but another thing that has slipped recently.

    Thanks for the motivation guys!

Well this is a new week. I have to get off my vacation weight now which was 3 pounds.
Unfortunately, last night was dinner out with my MIL for her b-day and even though I
tried to be conservative with my meal plan, I did go over on calories. New day,
