Cuddling when sleeping....

Surely I cannot be the only one who cannot do the whole cudding to sleep thing?

I really do LOVE a good cuddle / snuggle when in bed with my hubby, but I just cannot fall asleep like that. My hubby always says to me "I would love you to fall asleep in my arms, snuggled against my chest" but I just can't. I can't even have his arm around me, to be able to fall asleep I have to be on my own in my half of the bed.

Maybe it's because I am such a light sleeper??? Anyway, surely I cannot be the only woman like this. Anyone else the same?? (hoping I am not just a weirdo LOL).

My old cat and I would often try to cuddle to sleep. No go.

Nope, not a weirdo. I can't fall asleep while cuddling either. I guess I'd like to be able to, but it's just too uncomfortable to drift off.

LOL, I am the same way. I love to cuddle for a bit than my arm seems to fall asleep and I get restless and just want my side of the bed.

Wife hates it, says that I generate too much heat. However, the viciously cold winter nights change that story PDQ! By that time though, she's literally made her own bed and can freeze for all I care. Muhahahah!

I do sometimes. I don't sometimes. I like to cuddle with my cats while I'm sleeping. My man is not much of a sleep cuddler so we tend not to do it that often.

I am a cuddler with my little ones. And when they aren't in the bed I try to cuddle with my fiance... He can't fall asleep with me on his chest or him cuddling to me, but if I am cuddled behind him - he can. All of them sweat the instant they fall asleep though so it doesn't last too long before I am shoving the covers in between their bodies and mine. RAUNCHY BOYS. :grumble: :laugh:

Screw that. My wife and I purposely chose a king sized bed for this reason. When it's time to sleep after the extra curricular activities, we need our own space.

We tried it once...didn't get a lick of decent sleep. We cuddle on the couch before bed - we also like to cuddle on the those mornings we don't have to get up early and go to work.

Oh I am definitely the same! I have to have my own space in the bed to sleep. I love a cuddle before it's time to nod off, but when I'm sleeping I do not like to have hands and arms on me. Thankfully my fella is exactly the same, so we have a cuddle and a goodnight kiss then both roll over and go to sleep :laugh: :flowerforyou:

I can fall asleep as the little spoon, but then I get too hot and have to move away.

I'm all about cuddling on the couch, watching a movie or even cuddling to fall asleep. But once i'm sleeping, I need my own space. I cant even share my bed with a cat or dog because I end up getting frustrated and kicking them off at like 3am.
