I can do 10 pullups, and do sets of chin ups and dips with a weighted belt.

I can run miles and miles without stopping.

I could probably steal your girlfriend. ;)

I can knock out 100 real push-ups in less than 5 minutes and I can do chin-ups. I never thought I'd be able to get a single chin-up done!

I can walk up 3 flights of steps at my job and not feel like Im going to pass out when I get to my desk. I used to need 5 minutes just sitting in my chair before starting my day because of those stairs.
I can workout (INSANITY..week 2) and keep up a little bit better with Shaun T and the crew. Most of all I am losing weight without any of those crappy and lose weight quick methods that are not good for my body. Im doing it the correct way 8- )

What can I do now, that I didn't think I could?

    A few pull ups
    50 sit ups
    25 push ups
    An hour on the elliptical
Play a reasonable game of racquetball
Fit into clothes from 30 years ago

    Have a wonderful lover.

I can admit that it isn't "just a really bad pic of me" ! thats ME

I can do push -ups much easier

I can be thrilled to wake up sore every morning

I can do my exercise time and NOT feel guilty about telling my 6 kid-o's to stay out of the room:)

I can watch my family eat dessert and not clean up their crumbs!!

Best of all....I can continue on this journey until I have formed a way of life!!

Oh, lots of new posts since last I looked on here!! You are all doing so great and thanks for sharing!!

I’d love to read more!! This is so inspirational!

    Please share!!!

As for me!! I can fit into size 14 pants (actually FIT in them too, like able to leave the house!!)

I can do 100 pushups (in sets and from my knees, not all at once but I’m working on it!

I can say that I am no longer obese!

I can grocery shop and not end up back home thinking “oh, I shouldn’t have bought that!”

After months of using my food scale and measuring everything I’ve gotten much better at “eyeballing” serving sizes when I need to.

Wow, it feels so good to write those out… when I came on here I thought I had nothing to add today… LOL! Glad I pondered it a little!!

    OK… YOUR turn!!!

This is a great thread, here's mine:

-I can look at a photo of myself and think that I look OK. A big change from my Christmas holiday photos.
    - I can fit into size 14 (US 10) pants, in fact they're getting a bit loose.
    - I can run 6km before breakfast, for fun, and I AM going to run a 12k race in August.
    - I can give away my fat clothes because I'm boy going to need them again.

I can fit into my size 12 jeans and they're getting too big. (I was a 16/18 when I started)

I can do 40 regular pushups without stopping.

I can go out for an ice cream without feeling like I've messed up and start binging.

I can run up my stairs without getting winded.

I can wear regular shoes without gel cushions so my heal won't hurt.

I can go on vacation and enjoy myself without obsessing over everything I eat. I spent 5 days at my sister's, went to Universal Studios & Bush Gardens ate at Chevy's, P.F. Changs and Carrabas and didn't gain anything.

Love this and need to make this list. I can:
get up at 5:30am and curse at Jillian
    walk/run 5 miles in 72 minutes
    be confident
    do Zumba
    go gluten free
    stay away from processed foods
    stay away from diet soda
know that I am worth it
feel better than I have in so many years
    be happier
not worry about what people think about what I eat
do more in a day than I used to do in a weekend
    continue to lose weight

    - sit on the floor and bend my knees up, and wrap my arms around my knees
    - wear pretty bras...being rather large made it impossible to find pretty bras in my size
    - shop in the ladies section...not the plus size section
    - cross my legs
    - tuck my shirt in
    - wear clothes without leaving marks on my skin
    - run 5 miles
    - Zumba
    - wear a bathing suit without having to hide under a t-shirt
    - lift weights
    - 36 crunches (although I do feel like I am going to die while doing them!)

Its only been 2 weeks but....
-I can talk on the phone while I walk down 3 flights of stairs without getting winded.
-I can walk to the store and back and to the store again because I dropped my sons lollipop without batting an eye
-I can do 45 minutes of yoga and 20 minutes of cardio, 2 weeks ago I could barely make it through the yoga
    - I can wear my husbands belt, I have never been able to do that before.

What a great thread! I've just started, but here are a couple small victories:

I can do 5 regular pushups and 5 pushups from my knees.. that is huge for me. I dont think I could do one before
I can do a Zumba class
I can bend a little bit farther during yoga
I can see my "second chin" starting to get smaller :)

On the weekend I ran 10km at a race event, in 54 mins.
I never thought I'd ever be able to do that.
And I'm so proud of myself!!
