Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No, did better on Thanksgiving!
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? No exercise
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? actually didn't eat alot of junk
What would I have done differently? exercise
What is today's personal goals? Stay within calorie goal, water, already went to Aquafit, finally some exercise.
Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...) I made clam stuffing for my pescatarian (eats no meat but does eat fish) daughter for Thanksgiving and yesterday we bought some Turkey legs and thighs since we always go over to someone else's house for Thanksgiving and never have any leftover Turkey. I was great with leftover stuffing.
Mood today? Glad to finally get some exercise. Wednesday missed my morning run since I had to go to work earlier.Thursday I had to cook and it was cold rainy and dark. Today is sunny and snowed last night. Hope to go for a walk tomorrow.

    Sun -
    Mon - interval run
    Tues- Aquafit
    Wed - nothing
    Thurs - cooking
    Fri - nothing
    Sat - Aquafit

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes! maybe a little high on sugar but kept that to a minimum.
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes although I could have had a bit more water. I was up on steps too due to shopping.
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Ate well, stayed under calorie goal, had exercise and good NEAT (everyday activity)
What would I have done differently? a little more water
What is today's personal goals? Stay within calorie goal, water, already went for a walk, finally some exercise.
Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...) I have been tracking on my spreadsheet very closely and added a few more lines that help me see my weekly averages.
Mood today? I feel like there is a bit of a change in attitude and is there a smiley for hopeful? I have been tracking a few statistics and think I have found the right calorie goal for losing and it is higher than many of the weeks before when I was gaining or maintaining. Yes I went up after Thanksgiving but I went down again and then some. We went out with my son on Wednesday night too. We even bought some turkey legs and thighs after Thanksgiving to go with the leftover stuffing. However although I ate more and gained temporarily I didn't eat way too much more than usual and with a few better days I even made some progress. I looked at my average calories for the last 2 weeks and they are close. Last week I lost a half a pund and this week a pound and a half. So I am keeping my calorie goal where it is but going a few pounds over won't hurt and may help. :)

    Sun -
    Mon - interval run
    Tues- Aquafit
    Wed - nothing
    Thurs - cooking
    Fri - nothing
    Sat - Aquafit

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? didn't set any
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? had my yearly physical, did some Christmas shopping, and went out to dinner with my daughter. Good news and bad news - good news - I didn't gain any weight and my blood work is fantastic. Bad news - my blood pressure is extremely high. So much he wanted to put me on meds. I said no - see you in three months. I'm thinking stress is the cause. I need to relax...I've been very anxious lately. I should probably go back to yoga :-)
What would I have done differently? work out

Back again .... it's been a crazy year with a lot of stress. Hopefully things are calming down now, although my dad was just diagnosed with throat cancer - so the stress probably won't stop any time soon. But I really, really, really have to focus a bit on me -my weight has just kept going up. So I re-started my nutrition class and want to concentrate on healthy eating and doing SOMETHING no matter how small for exercise every day.
Goldk - my blood pressure hasn't been good this past year either, and I've never before had blood pressure problems. I've resisted medication so far too - I also need to find a way to de-stress ... have been talking about trying to fit in a weekly 'body flow' class, which has some yoga and other stuff ... I'm not very good at it - very un-bendable, but I know it would be good for me. Just finding the time isn't very easy right now.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? no
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? didn't set any
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? restarted my nutrition class
What would I have done differently? walked at least a little
What is today's personal goals? track, check in, walk

Welcome back! Thanks for the support. I saw my mother's doctor walk by about 10 mins before my doctor took my blood pressure (they are in the same office). I can't help but dislike him for not advocating for my mother's health a little more. (considering her kidney function numbers in her blood work were high in Oct and nothing was done.) He makes my blood boil. When my doctor asked me how I've been I was close to breaking down in tears. I go to the OB/GYN at the end of the month. I will have my BP taken again. Sorry to hear the news about your dad. Hang in there!

What about picking up a $50 Fitbit? This way you can focus on moving and not just structured workouts.

I love yoga and I am not flexible at all. The yoga teacher glances over at me and gives me a smile because I am touching below my knees and not the floor. She stresses to do what your body is telling you, don't push it. It never fails. I am sore for 3 days after...LOL I have not been lately because of travel and work. It's at 10:30 on Tues/Thurs. I can't always get away from what I'm doing.

Just read your posts about blood pressure. I have been on meds for years now.
It keeps it steady. If you can get your weight down and not need meds that is the way
to do it. I do have BP in my family and my Dad had it too.
    Good luck Gals!
As far as weight goes, I am up 10 pounds from my lowest here on MFP. I will be resetting my ticker after the holidays. My next goal is Jamaica in February so would like to lose
some by then. We can do this!

For all you ladies who are stressed, go back to your Yoga Classes and Flow Classes,
sounds like you need to de-stress and get centered again.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Went shopping with my sister and had lunch.
What would I have done differently? Nothing
What is today's personal goal? Yoga class- done, log all foods
Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? Chicken, Avocado Salad at
Panera Bread, my favorite. I did have dessert which I should have declined.
Mood today? :) Feeling good, but getting behind in my chores. Tis the season!
