Modern Day Pin-up Girls! - Week 1
Replies

This week I will
1. recognize when I'm stress eating
2. do sit-ups, benching light weights, and side leg raises every other day
3. try to do the elliptical daily
4. avoid the (literally) daily bake sales at my school, try to drink
5. Continue to focus most of my diet on fruits, vegetables, dairy, and eggs. If I reach for processed foods, I'll try to stick to the least processed/most organic foods.
6. Allow myself to have a pastry on St Joseph's day (basically I need to remember this is NOT all or nothing, there is room for enjoyment in the mist of HEALTHY weight loss)
Good luck everyone! Add me if you want0 -
Good morning Pin-Ups!
And we are off on another 10 week challenge! ^5 to everyone!
Rach posted this comment on a thread and I thought that it would be a great idea/reminder for us here.
"Stick. It. Out.
Get off the scale and get out the measuring tape once a month."
Not all victories are measured on the scale!
Have a great day ladies!

Awwww I'm glad that was a bit of motivation....I was more annoyed with the constant "oh my god i gained 2lbs!" posts. :blushing:
LOVE!!! your new pic!!!0 -
WOW!!! Look at all the new girls!!! Welcome ladies!!
Goals for the week:
- Not freak when the scale goes up a little. Silly body needs to tell silly brain that P90X is hard and its holding onto water. Patience, brain!
- Week 3 of P90X!!!!! All 5 of the P90X workout left this week. I had my two horrible spring forward exhaustion mornings, but today I was actually able to get Cardio X and Ab Ripper done. Woo!!!
- Practice my deep breathing everytime I think about the two bridesmaid's dresses in May... Ohhmmmm, I love my friends. Ohhhmmmm, I love my friends.0 -

I wish I would have measured at the beginning of this journey. The scale hasn't been moving lately but I know things are lookin' a little better.0 -
Good morning everyone! Had a great workout this morning. I got my Polar F6 in the mail yesterday, so this morning was my first time using it. I absolutely love it. It is such a huge motivator to actually see the number of calories you're burning increasing with each minute. Makes you push harder! I definitely recommend to anyone thinking of getting an HRM.0

Run/Walk the stairs down town at least once (390 some odd steps!!), usually do it 3 or 4 times per visit.0 -

WOW! very impressed with myself. Instead of eating the cake in the fridge (not mine...leftover cake brought home for my brother) I went for a walk. I am super irritated with paypal right now and just spent an hour on the phone with them. That level of stress (cause they're idiots) would normally send me straight to junk food. Nope...went for a walk instead. YAY0

Getting excited for my monthly cheat! My friends are home from law school on spring break and we are going out for margaritas!! I haven't had one in two months because I've been trying to be good.
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor!0 -
Franky: I love margaritas. But I haven't had one in a couple of months as well. I promised my self one margarita once I lose 15 pounds though. :drinker:
Anyways just wanted to stop by and wish you all a happy hump day!! Today I dropped my older sister off at the airport. Then I went to IHOP and ordered the split decision with turkey sausage. Wound up eating one pancake, half my eggs, and one turkey sausage. Didn't touch my french toast or bacon. Normally I would have eaten the whole thing and extra pancakes. So whoop for me.0 -
Morning ladies!!!! WI for me went great last night! I'm down another 1.2 lbs for my 2nd week at WW!!!
