Dear Mr. Irish (aka Banks),
thanks for this!:flowerforyou: I'm also becoming a fan and ordering your book in advance
Me here falls in the category 5 from the first list... :explode: stressed (was it 5?) and always unhappy with what I do. Phew. I wonder how will this turn up - will I *gain* confidence by *losing* weight  ? And I don't even have that much to lose... (is this what's making it harder? :grumble: )0 -
Let me know when the book is published....wanna signed copy! bump0

Oh man. Um, lol, burgers aren't the answer people. Step away from the burger.
Is butter the answer? (Oh, please let it be butter. . .)
i second the butter, third the burger....we should just go to culvers and get a butter burger, and just knock it all out at once:laugh:0 -

Well I re read this post today because I have been the same weight for about a month now....this lack of loss has kinda made me unmotivated lately.
Getting motivated again and would love to see even a 1/2 lbs. loss...lol0 -

But down by inches, bought new pants a size smaller. so all is good.

Could we make this manditory to read before starting another post on plateaus?
It should be a rule. "If you are plateauing and want to start a post asking what to do, you must first read this, and then if your question wasn't answered, you may ask it.":bigsmile:0 -
Thanks so much for the motivation I have been really watching what I eat and walking every day for three weeks. At first I dropped 10 lbs quickly, but then everything stopped it is so disappointing. With so much weight to lose it is hard to be"good" when I'm seeing nothing happening I am going to stick with it and keep on if for no other reason than my health. Thanks again I really appreciate it.
