lobster...sounds like your ON FIRE!!! Great to hear the mood has struck you! Seems like you have enough to share

CCJ...sounds like your doing great too! As long as the pants are getting looser it's most likely your getting leaner and gaining some muscle. I've had trouble eating well lately myself. It kind of goes in spurts of eating well...then I go and blow it all in one meal. My weight too has leveled off and seems to stay within a 2-3 pound range the last couple of weeks. That's ok though, as I'm within 7-8 pounds of my goal and in no real hurry.

    Happy Father's day to everyone!
I walked my dog this morning to warm up, and then completed Core Cardio. It was a good workout! Plyo is in the queue.

Yeah, I'm not in a hurry. I have quite a ways to go but I figure I'm more likely to keep it off if I lose it slowly. I'm not gaining weight so that is a good thing.

I cannot remember if I got this idea on here or somewhere else. I am going to try this routine for the summer. I am even going to make myself do UML and find ways to make it more difficult so I do not get bored. Today was day 1 of week 1 and I really enjoy the cardio intervals routine. I will see how it goes just trying to change it up a little.

    A Master Series Routine
    Week 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - etc.
    Day 1 ~ Cardio Intervals
    Day 2 ~ Sculpt 5-6
    Day 3 ~ Sweat 5-6
    Day 4 ~ U M L
    Day 5 ~ Core Cardio
    Day 6 ~ Sculpt 5-6
    Day 7 ~ Rest

    Week 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - etc.
    Day 1 ~ U M L
    Day 2 ~ Sweat 5-6
    Day 3 ~ Plyo Legs
    Day 4 ~ Sculpt 5-6
    Day 5 ~ Core Cardio
    Day 6 ~ U M L
    Day 7 ~ Rest

Dee and Mike...it's great to see your motivation and success. Keep it going!

I ended up doing a 2nd workout last night. I did Core Cardio in the morning, then Plyo last night. I only did about 3/4 of the workouts, as my Father's Day dinner was awaiting! (Can't hold the kids up when they have things to do).

I'm sore today, but plan to do Sweat tonight.

No workout tonight. I started with a headache on the way home from work. After spending an hour plus on the phone with the bank to discuss refinancing our house, my head was ready to explode. Feeling better now. Tomorrow's another day.

Day 31, Plyo Legs DONE. It was a struggle today - my knees were aching, and I feel like I have some kind of chest cold or something... Gotta love doing squats while hacking up a lung...LOL.

UML tomorrow, plus my extra weight circuit.

    Have a good one!

Ok, so I decided to be brave and put this up here. This is a comparison from day 1 of Power 90 at 223 lbs (2/21/2011) to day 30 of Power 90 Master Series at 190 lbs (6/21/2011 - day 120 overall).

I'm embarrassed by the first photo, but pictures don't lie... In reality, I had already lost 26 lbs at that point doing other cardio stuff. Fortunately, I don't have any earlier comparison photos.

Week 6 underway! Day 36, Cardio Intervals done! Got a good sweat going, heart rate was WAY up there during the high intervals.

I had a HORRIBLE eating weekend. Or I guess you could call it WONDERFUL... LOL! Went to the diner for dinner Saturday and ate way too much, including french fries (gasp!!!) but I had worked out in the morning, plus spent the whole day doing yard work and party preparation, so I stayed under calories. Sunday was a different story. Had a high school graduation party for my son... Barbecue, beer, desserts, etc., etc. Combine that with the fact that it was a rest day, and I was WAY over. But, it doesn't hurt progress too badly to have a weekend like that occasionally, as long as I re-focus and keep my eye on my goals. Back on the wagon today!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Let's hear about your recent workouts and progress. Keep it going!!!

Mike, you look fantastic! Those are great results!

I have missed several days. The baby was very sick. Got test results back today & he tested positive for salmonella. My daughter was sick for 2 days & now my 2 year old & 5 year old are sick. I have no idea how the 5 year old would get salmonella. He is strictly tube fed, nothing at all by mouth. We wash our hands all the time & I am very careful when cooking beause my 2 year ld has severe food allergies. I am going to repeat last week & try to start working out again tomorrow. I miss it & I am so stiff when I miss a few days.

Well I may stop complaining about UML not being enough workout. I did it yesterday and REALLY pushed it to the max and my abs are truly sore today. I enjoyed Sweat 5-6 this morning. I am in week 2 of my new schedule and so far so good.

I kept meaning to check out your pictures at home since I can't get access at work. I finally remembered to just go on Safari on my iPhone (wish MFP app on phone had access to these topics).

Anyway....awesome transformation Mike!!! It's always inspiring IMO to put a body with a name to really "see" the progress. You have been probably one of the most consistent, dedicated hard workers I've seen, and the results show! Congrats!

Also.......good to see we all have bad food days occassionally. And your right, it won't affect our progress to do this once in a while.

Wow! You really do have your hands full and every reason to take some time off. It's great to see you bounce right back though. Best of luck to your family...hope everyone gets feeling better real quick!

I did a half-hearted Sculpt last night when I got home. The appraiser is coming to our home tonight at 6pm for a refinance, and I knew I had a bunch of cleaning and straightening up to do, so my mind wasn't in it. I think I made up for it though with cleaning the bathrooms, vacumming, and such.

I also did much better with my diet yesterday and stuck to better choices. Today I was so tempted to stop at Dunkin Donuts, but made the better choice to get oatmeal at work. My will-power has been poor lately, but I keep trying to get back to my old form of consistency.

You guys are really helping me by your example! So thanks!

Day 37, Sculpt 5-6 and Ab Ripper 250 done this morning. I had a cup of coffee with me pre-workout banana, and I felt more awake than usual (I workout at 6:00am on most days). I think I will try that again to see how it goes...

Tomorrow is Plyo Legs!!!! (my poor knees... LOL)

    Hey gang,

Still here, just got the kids packed back off to FL after a nice visit. Didn't get many workouts done, didn't log, didn't weigh-in but generally made healthy meals and snacks so I don't think I'm too far off track. I'm also neck deep into my personal trainer and nutrition specialist studies. I'm trying to get them done by mid-August so that takes up most evenings. Everyone keep up the great work!

Hey Brent, good to hear from you! Glad you had a nice visit with the kids!

Day 40 done this morning! I decided to do Sweat 3-4 today, since I wanted to go easy on my knees a little bit. Sweat 3-4 doesn't have a lot of jumping around, but it's still a great workout. In fact, in some ways it's harder than Sweat 5-6 and some of the other Master Series cardio workouts, because there are no pauses between exercises. There's just the one water break in the middle, and other than that it just flows from one move to the next. Anyway, it was a solid workout and it didn't hit my knees too hard.

Sculpt 5-6 and Ab Ripper tomorrow!

    Have a great day everyone!!

I really pushed hard this week and was able to drop 3 pounds in a week which I was happy about. I did wonder this morning if anyone else feels like me when I see Dreya and Dan Brown. My first thought is man this going to hurt lol. then I do the workout and I am glad I did it. I definitely will need to work off this weekend, I am sure there will be a cookout or two in my future.

Hey everyone, Sorry for not posting lately but really busy at work these days. I decided I don't have enough minutes in my day--- I am always a few minutes behind....

Remember when I posted about Advocare products - well I decided to go ahead and try ( a friend is selling/distributor). Well I can say so far so good. I am pushing through my plateau and I staying consistently at the lower end of my range. Also I am only on day 9 of the 24 day challenge. So I will post at the end and let you know the complete results. But thte whole point was to motivate me and it did because I am seeing results - where I was just kinda staying the same until now. I have also been conssitent with the power 90 programs switching in master series and power 1/2 with original power 90. I can see the results the most in my arms and abs. Yes I actually can see my abs pretty good.

Glad to see everyone is doing good - keep up the good work~~~

Back at it today although I have a broken toe. I hope I'm able to workout. It doesn't hurt as bad so I am going to try it. The kids finally seem to be over the salmonella. OMG! It was horrible. I wouldn't want anyone to ever have to deal with it. My 2 year old fell & had to get 3 stitches on Sunday. We were in the ER for 5 hours. I need to exercise. I have been so stressed, my body aches. Today should be day 51 but we are going back to day 37. sweat 5-6 & AR 200 today :)

Day 44, Sculpt 5-6 and Ab Ripper 200 banged out this morning... Feeling good, tomorrow is the halfway point!

Crystal, glad to hear the kids have recovered, and hope your toe is ok!

Tomorrow is supposed to be Plyo for me, but I think I'm going to do something with a little less impact, since my knees are still sore.

Hope everyone's having a great day!

So I missed yesterday too. My father in-law stopped by when I was going to workout. So I did sweat 5-6 & ab ripper 200 today. It was supposed to be plyo legs but there is no way I could do all thatt with my toe hurting. It hurt just to put on socks & shoes. I did alot of modified moves in sweat but I got through it. UML tomorrow. I think I can handle that.
