You know Trent, you have been at this for a long time, sometimes you just need a break.
But NOT NOW! If our team doesn't win this week I'm afraid I will be "going home". I think all the work you did this weekend may show up on the scale tomorrow or Wednesday (hopefully)
And no, I am not weighing in on Wednesday, but I will of course weigh because I can't resist the scale. :bigsmile:0 -
The MB's are getting nervous, talking about drinking tons of water today and having early light dinners. I know Eva can pull in a good consistent number and Jessica's feeling lighter. Worried about Heather traveling though... hopefully Kasi and Trent get a good number this week.
Wonder when we go to singles instead of teams?
DH has lost 6 pounds! Should have got him in the challenge. :laugh:0 -

I was pleased to see that I was down a pound on the scale this morning... 1.1 lbs to be exact. Hoping I can keep that for tomorrow's weigh-in. Will eat lightly tonight (no late night snacking...) and drink LOTS of water. (I'm a little behind so far today.)0 -

I feel larger today but that could just be b/c its freakin 100 degrees out there with like 80% humidity, yuck! Got the turkey bacon avocado sub from subway- not the healthiest but TOTALLY could have been worse!0 -
You think we will go to singles? That sounds really scary to me! I like have you guys to consult with. I haven't done as well as I was hoping this week. My stupid lushy Saturday REALLY screwed me! I'll have a loss for sure tomorrow but I'm not so sure I'll get into the 150"s like I was hoping. I'm gonna work for it. though... not giving up yet. I got a new workout video yesterday that I will do tonight (and maybe in the morning too) and i with you guys on eating light today and going to bed early0

I did well with my food choices today, and I just got back from a run (couldn't resist the gorgeous evening outside). Drinking lots of water and hoping it shows on the scale tomorrow. :drinker:0 -

But, I just posted on the main thread - I'm bowing out of this competition. There's a few reasons, but the main is that I just need to take a break from being a slave to the scale and kind of reevaluate where I'm at and what I need to do. I wish you all the best of luck - Kick some booty!!!0 -

I totally lost more than expected - 2.6 lbs! Woohoo! :drinker:
I'm now closer to 170 than 180. I've got a good shot at actually getting out of the 170s in June.0 -

Weigh-in days can be tough. I propose that we should all post something that we're proud of ourselves for today. :bigsmile: I think it's important to try to always focus on the positive.
I'm proud of myself for packing my lunch (grilled chicken breast, baby carrots and ~1 cup cooked spinach) and afternoon snack (greek yogurt) even though I was running late this morning. It's easy for me to make excuses and say I'll grab a healthy lunch from our cafe... but then when lunchtime comes around the not-as-healthy options are always so tempting.
I think I'm going to go to the gym tonight to do some intervals on the treadmill and some strength training.0 -
I lost 1.2lbs this week... Not as much as I wanted but I can't really complain.
Sara, sorry to see ya go but you always need to put yourself and your family first so it is completely understandable and respectable:flowerforyou:
Trent, I brought lunch today too... well, actually I bought it on my way to work cause I was already at the store shopping for the bar but I got brown rice california rolls (i've been craving them bad) and sugar snap peas with greek yogurt onion dip. I think the sushi is a little high on sodium but I will make sure to drink tons of water
Something I'm proud of is that I have actually done quite a bit more exercise them normal. I have sore muscles today which I haven't felt for a while now.... Its such a good pain:bigsmile:0 -

Kim made a very good yet motivating (for me) remark- I'm not considered a threat to them b/c I weigh more than when we started the competition. Very true- but might I add makes me want to lose even more and inform yall I was also on a medication that causes lots of water retention and will be off of it by over 2 weeks by next weight in :happy:
ALSO spending our weekend without child redoing our front yard!0 -

Jessica, sounds like fun redoing your front yard, Trent didn't you do something with your back yard last weekend? It's supposed to rain here all weekend so no yard for me. I started doing Leslie Sansone walking videos the last two nights instead of the treadmill. I like them but I am not getting my heart rate up enough with them because my fat little legs can't keep up. Do any of you have Comcast with the exercise TV On Demand? Looked at some of those last night, there is enough there to keep from getting bored for a year!0 -

i have to admit this struck me! I've been battling some sort of depression for the past week and a half- it feels a bit like its mixed with anxiety. I'm hoping it's nothing but like I posted earlier I stopped a med (Lyrica) and I'm wondering if it's my body trying to get back to normal. Here's to both of us getting our sanity back! :drinker: ps that's vodka lemonade :laugh:0 -

So Thurs/Friday/Saturday weren't great. No real excuses... Trying to do damage control now and hopefully have a small loss for the week. I was up on the scale this morning - hoping some of it is water weight. :grumble:

your weekend sounds like mine! lol- we celebrated our anniversary and I didn't eat that bad. Even went bowling Saturday and hiking yesterday!
But had a Dr. appointment today and they're scale said 157!!! WHAT?!?! Granted I'm wearing clothes but not a freakin snow suit! Plus I cut 10" hair off I mean come on!0 -
I had a pretty good weekend. I worked a double friday so I didn't get to exercise but no snacking either so I was under cals. Saturday we went to the Rose Festival/ Saturday Market in Portland and had a great time. We did ALOT of walking but I did have Kahula Pork and Cabbage and stole a bit of my kids cotton candy:embarassed:. Yesterday i went to my dads for a BBQ but I purposely mowed my lawn/monsterous hill, to burn cals before I went. The scale seams to be standing still right now but I'm sure I can pull off a loss by wed no problem0
