    So...what is everyone doing the get ready for July's swimsuit picture?? I just finished Day 16 of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred (and yes, it is still before 7:00 am), and I hit the gym most days after work for around 35 minutes of cardio, usually on the Crosstrainer or Elliptical. And, of course, try to stay right around my daily calories.

    What are you all doing?
    charc16... I'm only on Day 14 and I've been really slacking with it. I gotta work hard the rest of the month to get ready to post that photo! Thanks for asking this - you really made me consider what I need to improve on (working out and I need to eat better again too). :drinker: I love getting in cardio, but sometimes I feel bad doing it when I "should" be doing the Shred. :sick: Oh well.
    I had just started the New Rules of Lifting for Women routine before posting my June 1st pics, so here's hoping there's some positive changes in the July 1st pics.
    fitmom4ever... I loved reading that program, and wanted to start it in Sept. when I can get to the gym again. I read his "NROL for Abs" book (more recently published), and I am liking that one even more (reading it). I think it will be most beneficial for me, because I REALLY need to strengthen my back. I love everything that man says! Best of luck!! :drinker:

    Brooke1542... Work it with the Shred! You will see visible results! That's the best part!

    Don't worry...I have not been Jillian's model student. It is hard to get up early to work out! In fact, I slept in this morning :) But I am going to try to do it tonight after the gym. I feel like this has been the longest 30 days ever!! Good luck!

    I'm about to start Week 4 of C25K. I've also been doing Zumba once a week and trying to do yoga at least once a week.

    Good for you! I'm doing a mixture of "minimal" P90x and cardio...I just found it too difficult last year to continue with the hour a day, so I've adapted it so it works in my schedule. We'll see how it goes!

    1.) I invested in a Polar FT7 HRM and have been using it a few days now.
    2.) I just started doing JM 30DS followed by JM 6W6P
    3.) I'm going to try to keep up my regular 40-60 minute circuit weight training routine 2-3 days/wk (so dropping the occasional 4th)
    4.) I just started chasing my CWT gym routine with at least 20 minutes of cardio. Usually treadmill 3.6mph on 5.0 incline.

    I just got mine today lol!! Apparently, P90x Legs & Back burned basically 600 calories!

    I am more eager then I thought I would be for the July pic... I was trying on bathing suits last night and wow I can't believe I actually look ok in a two piece now.... at the beginning of my journey you wouldn't have caught me in a two piece.... now I'm looking forward to seeing the real difference at each months new pic.

    I'm on day 14 of 30DS....I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sort of getting tired of knowing exactly what is coming next. I've been doing sequences of 1 day of Level 1, 2 days of Level 2, and 3 days of Level 3. I also mute Jillian and the music, and instead put my own dance-inspiring hip hop on. I also do either 60 minutes of biking or 45 minutes of jogging each day.

    This thread has been great for motivation for the 30DS though. I don't think I would have kept doing it every day if I didn't think about how great it will feel to post an improved bikini shot! So far I've lost .5 in on each thigh, and 1 in in the hips! Amazing.

    I'll be done with 30DS on June 30th...and then I think that I'm going to buy insanity.......am I insane?

    I am down about 2 pounds since I took my pics. Today I started the 30 day shred and am going to keep up with all of my other fitness activities. We will see if you guys can tell a difference in me in 16 days!!
