I'm really enjoying this challenge, it reminds me of when I first got my HRM, I kept pushing to get more mins/cals burned. Just to give an update on cals burned since 07/01, I'm at 2098.
386 / 1440 = 27%

07/05 - 143 jogging, then gardening

07/03 - 63 walking dogs

Ok, so I have a dilemma. I am having a Brazilian Blowdry this afternoon, that I can't sweat or wash until Tuesday or Wed. SO, I just can't do my normal workout until Tuesday night or Wednesay (depending on work). I plan to walk on the treadmill for 60 minutes a day without breaking a sweat to burn a few calories and keep my muscles moving. However, I only log sweat pouring down my face/high heart rate exercise. I know some people log cleaning and long walks etc, but it's just my choice/habit to only log the high heart rate gym stuff. So, what do i do for the challenge? I really feel like I would be cheating (myself) if I put 60 minutes down for a walk on the treadmill.0 -

I can't see that you have any other choice but to log your 60 mins of walking per day. BTW not sure (or not sure I want to know) what a Brazilian Blowdry is....but either way I have a feeling I'm venturing into TMI land... OK so back to your dilemma... you could track your walking, but then if you want to only count sweaty stuff, you're going to have to kick it up after you've "healed" sista!!!:laugh:0 -

I've been bad about coming back and checking in.
So far I've done 401 minutes, and I plan on doing a little more tonight after my kids are in bed and while my boyfriend is on his hour (or more) long walk.0 -
I'm really loving this challenge! It pushes me to really exercise more to get those minutes in. On the days that I didn't do anything I feel like I have to go extra the next day to make up for it, which is a good thing!

I just joined in on the challenge, but I've been tracking my exercise on MFP (very basic, I mostly "power" walk or ride my bike for an hour daily & do simple weightlifting afterwards, which I don't count). I'm just starting to work on my fitness, so thanks for starting this challenge. I'm sure I'll be looking at the forums for more help because honestly, I don't know what I'm doing! I played basketball for many years until I was 18 so I always had a coach telling me what to do. I miss that!
