I'm not sure where you guys saw that we're doing doubles on Friday, but I'll make a plan for it just in case. There is, however, confirmation of some real pirate activity coming up this Sunday. So, if you are taking a rest day or will be away from a computer, please let me know and keep me up to date!

Sorry, I am confused with this terminology. what are "double's"? and why are we planning ahead on our Sunday activity? I have to work on Sunday but I will be doing a *kitten* ton of walking for 5 hours LOL (I'm not sure how to estimate that)0 -

There have been, and will be lots of little games within the challenge. Friday, we'll get double miles for calories burned. The kidnap thing was another. Sunday, I need to have a good idea of what you will burn for another game that was linked up-thread. This is a busy challenge, lol.0

I'm sorry to everyone that my calories burnt is nowhere near what they could be or what I'd like them to. Different parts of my body (mainly my feet) have taken this opportunity to crap out on me and it's better if I rest a bit so I can go full force again rather than just adding and adding. I feel bad that I'm not accomplishing what I set out for and I plan on changing it. Just don't want you guys to think I joined this just to jump ship as soon as it started.0

You ladies and guy are all giving it your best and working hard for not only yourselves, but each other. No drama, no guilt, just lots of good old fashioned teamwork. Got in a little bit of a burn today. Was supposed to do Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps today but couldn't bring myself to stand in the spare bedroom for an hour. So i got on the elliptical and after 10min I got bored (and harrassed by some dude tryin to give me his number so I could call him when my sister's tattoo shop opened....yea right).....then I hopped on the treadmill but just couldn't find my groove. So then I left I drove over to the trails and did an 11min mile. Not bad but I feel like crap now. Mostly because I ate junk all day.
Anyway, enjoying some iced coffee mix, grabbing a shower and heading to bed. :yawn:0 -

My scale died yesterday I weighed myself yesterday morning and it read a 16 lb loss. I knew that was wrong, turned it off then back on and tried it again, then it read a 2lb gain!! AARGGHH!! Bought a new scale today and hope it will be friendlier than the last one!0

Sorry I couldn't kick more butt on doubles day today, team. I had big plans but this migraine really put me down and out. Left work early, binged on chocolate muffin and doritos and took a nap. I didn't want to workout at all but made myself do a quick mile on the trails so I would have SOMETHING to contribute. No point in doubling a big fat 0.
I'm gonna rest up and really bring it on sunday!!!0 -

I'm so proud of you guys! We burned an extra 1284 calories more than we did on the last double day!! Our total, doubled miles were 485.56! Feelin' Nauti kicks some major booty! har har! :glasses:

Thank you to those of you who turned in your pledges. However, I don't think there will be a challenge today. Go ahead with your bad selves and knock out what you can, though!
One little gripe/request and then I'm moving on to my usual carefree self. I would really appreciate it if you updated me of your calorie burn in some way when you are finished exercising for the day. Also, update me if you are not exercising for the day. I need to see a zero so that I'm not waiting on a number that isn't coming. My absolute preferred method is for you to go ahead and update your column on the spreadsheet. Aside from that, send me a message or post it here. It takes time for me to go to individual diaries to find calorie burns for the day. Some days i have time, but not always.
Our yacht is farther behind then it should be this morning because the spreadsheet is missing several entries. I'll let you guys get it sorted and when the spreadsheet is full, I'll turn in the numbers to Lee.
Obviously, several of you have been on top of it from the get go. So please disregard the above and thank you for your work

First sorry about not getting the Sunday game sorted, I ran out of time, plus a few people rightly pointed out that that game was being more about luck and not actually rowing the world.
SO this weeks games
TUEDAY is DOUBLE DAY
THURSDAY IS .............. KIDNAP DAY........ attack a boat again........ same as last time, but the boat under attack can still count the kidnapped person
SAT is ........... TRIPLE DAY !................. I see that weekends tends to be one of the hardest ones to keep focus and get a good work out in............. so I hope by it being triple day it will give us all time to look at our work outs and PLAN !
ALSO anyone looking for a new team member or if anyone want to join, please post here so people can get teamed up !

So I totally set my alarm for 8AM to get ready to workout for the challenge this morning... and I'm not gonna lie, as soon as I saw the challenge was called off, I immediately went back to bed. :P Normally I would've done my workout anyway, but it being Sunday and that lovely time of the month, my motivation to get up and workout was slim to none. I'll do something today though, I promise! I'm looking forward to these challenges throughout the week too!0
