I'm off to a bbq and then to Penns Landing for fireworks, depending how far we have to walk I may add to my calories burned later :laugh:0 -
I'm done for the day too - I even threw in an extra 20 minutes on the stationary bike for the challenge :-) It pales in comparison to whats_her_name (can I just say I'm in awe?!) but it's more than I would have done normally, so I'm happy :-)

I am finally off to the gym after a looooong nap - I feel SO much better!
@Barbara - jump training is where you jump onto and off of boxes. I do bodyweight and stability ball work on Sat's as well. It breaks up the weekly routine.

Aww, shucks. Thanks I have a lot of summer events and I'm trying to maximize my results, so I'm really kickin' it up a notch!! I need to see RESULTS! I used to run marathons & half marathons (before kids), so I'm using some of that training for the awesome calorie burn...
And Captain, good for you on the jump training! I personally am always terrified I'll fall on my face, so I don't like to do it.0 -
I had a s l o w start at the gym today, but ended with 556 cal in a bit over an hour. I usually do better, but just was out of it today. I will pick it up, I promise!!
We ended yesterday with 166.62 miles guys!!! :bigsmile:

Rest day today, so my only cals burnt are from walking to the pub for a Sunday night of Irish music and pear cider.

94 minutes on the treadmill at 3mph, then day 4 of 30 day shred (level 1).

Yes, every little bit counts! My numbers are going to be crappy today, too - I slept in (I think my body needed it after the week I've hadm, and then not sleeping Friday night), and now with errands and family stuff, and then going out with friends later, I don't have any time for a workout, but I'm going to squeeze as many minutes out as I can doing stuff I can do at home (walking, stairstepper, etc...). I figure it's better than not doing anything, and tomorrow will be better :bigsmile:0 -
Of course every calorie counts!!!
I am in desperate need of a day off, and while I don't want to take a day off, I think my body might need it. I feel bad, but I also have to do what my body says.

Sadly my pathetically small number is correct. But, it was rest day, I already have about 350 cals for the 4th, so that will be better
