L1D2 completed...and I still hate bicycle crunches...I do okay until she gets to those. I am a wimp and only use 2 lb. weights right now though. *L*0

Alright. I'm about to do the workout for the first time!
Pictures will only be up when I do the before and after. I just took pictures 10 minutes ago.
My measurements at this point are..
Thigh- 28 3/4
Calf - 16 5/8
hip where my pants rest 45 1/2
Hip where I am the widest - 46 5/8
waist- 33
Bicep- 14 1/4
Bust 38 7/80 -

L1D3 done!! It is very weird... did 30 mins on the elliptical this morning and the soreness went away. I felt so pumped so I decided to do Yoga Meltdown followed by shred all in one shebang! I still had a bit of trouble doing some of the exercises - bicycle crunches and art...? something ? lunges.... i hate you!!! About an hour after I finished working out, the pain is back :sad:
I also think that my level of intensity during shred wasnt as high as it should have been... I think it may have been due to the cardio and yoga beforehand. So tomorrow morning, I plan on warming up with cardio to get rid of the soreness, then go crazy while shredding. Then in the afrternoon I will do cardio and yoga. I wonder if this may help.0 -
Completed Day 2 Level 1 this morning. Feeling awful this morning when I woke up but I pushed through! Love getting it out of the way first thing in the morning!
I was sore from day 1 but it wasn't horrible.
mamato4kids - I am using 5lb weights. Feeling the burn!
I can't seem to find a way to do side lunges without it hurting my knee so I just squat. Does anyone else have this problem?

Just finished L1D3. I burned even more cals today than yesterday! My HRM says I burned 361 cals over 28 mins. Anyone else notice an increase of cals burned? I'm thinking it is because I am pushing through the pain/ache I have in all my muscles! LOL! I'm glad I got it done and out of the way today!0

I'm considering joining you, I'll have to go buy the DVD today if I do. Have you heard of others who have experienced great results with this program? Sounds like you need some light hand weights - any other equipment needed?0

Light weights. I'm using 2lb hand weights. You will also want a yoga type mat. She does crunches and the mat really helps if you have hard floors.0 -
Im still on board, but being the dummy I am, I forgot that my husband has the xbox cable in his bag and he is in Canada this weekend. He is going to be home tonight, so I will be a little behind but I will start tomorrow morning! Keep going everyone, you are doing great!0

I just got home from a 7 mile run, but plan on doing 30DS later today....my thought " it's only 20 minutes" only 20 minutes of pain, but I'm gonna do it!0

Does anyone know, is the 30 Day Shred 1 on Exercise TV (On Demand) the same as the 1st level workout on the DVD? Has Exercise TV ever put Level 3 on for free (1 and 2 are there now, I see).0

I want to join in. I will start today. I HATE pushups. I did one day of it a couple weeks ago. My body hated me for a couple of days. lol Thanks for the motivation to try again. I want results quick. I am going on vacation in two weeks I would love to see results before then. I will get my measurements today.0

I don't mind the lunges. Anything lower body is okay, but the dumbbell press with the squat gets me. It kills my arms! I know, I know, that's how I know its working...and bicycle crunches really ARE the devil.0

So I started L1D1 today! Geez my legs are jello!! Here are my stats Weight as of this morning is 247. Once I figure out how to post pics I'll do those.
Waist at smallest - 37
Waist at bellybutton- 39.5
Hips- 51.5
Bust- 45
Thigh- 32.5
Calf- 19.5

Hey i'm on D4 of L1 too.. Great work out and although I still sweat I'm not straining! I still modify though.0 -
I tried doing the full part of level 1 in one day but my asthma is really bad so makes it hard so i stop half way and then finish it later.0

My legs are till killing me from yesterday.. I don't know how I'll be able to do today's.
But I'll do the best I can. I'm just waiting for the heat to go down.0 -
Did L1D3 today... didn't get a chance to do it this morning, so did it this afternoon. Not sure if it was that or general soreness, but I kinda feel like i half-a$$ed it today (ok - not that bad - maybe 3/4). Hoping that tomorrow morning's intensity will be much improved!
BTW - my legs/lower body have always been pretty strong, but my calves are T-I-G-H-T today! :ohwell:0 -
Hi All! Would love to join your group, I've never been a part of a group like this before! I fell off of the MFP wagon a few months ago but I'm ready to start again. I'm on L1D3. is this plan designed to be worked every day or should there be a day off? How do you log this in exercises, general circuit training?

L1D4 done! I was so sore when I woke up this morning but my goal it to do 30DS for 30 days in a row. So I pushed through it... boy did I push lol. I worked up the biggest smeat ever, even the pushups in circuit one made me sweat so much that my knees slipped on my mat - belly flop style - JM will really kill you lol.
Right now I actually feel fantastic - I am not screeching when I move, I still feel my muscles but no where near yesterdays pain. Just about to do a cardio session to knock out a few more calories followed by yoga.
You know I never understood how anyone could like working out but I do now - I love it!!0 -
My sore calves got even worse to the point one of them seized up and I had to stop for a couple seconds. But I pushed through..
Though I do half *kitten* those butt kicks.. Haha. I can't do those.. out of all the exercises, those are the ones I can't do.
But now my back, legs, and arms are killing me.0
