Ran 3 miles, (whew I didn't think I could do it!) drank a ton of H2O, and under calorie goal.
If anyone cares to join me, my mini goal for the week is to eat at least one raw meal a day. I think I might do this all month but I'm starting wth a week0 -
oh and what are up downs? are those the same as "burpies"?0

Kathy, that's interesting what you said about drinking water first thing in the morning. This morning I drank a litre of water (35oz) in bed whilst my toddler drank his morning milk. That's what I'm going to do every day from now on to get a good bit of water in to start my day off healthy:)
Welcome new members. How is everyone doing? I've completed the challenges so far and fitted in a mini triathalon yesterday (swim/run/cycle/walk) and a 6 mile leisurely walk today. ok, so some of that was shopping but, hey, I was walking. I mean business this month!! Good luck for the month ahead.

Tomorrow's challenge is:
Day 3 Exercise Challenge – 50 Situps or Ab Crunches* -in addition to your regular routine!
64oz of water and stay under your calorie goal... which is an everyday thing for the month of August! :drinker:

I can join you in the raw meals- I just started a similar goal- NO MORE PROCESSED foods- but i have modified it to be more of a im gonna eat 60-90% raw (live) foods. Tonight was actually first cooked meal ive had in a while- shrimp and eggplant on the stove. Yum! But happy to go back to more raw tomorrow!.0

So- you really do get a sort of High from working out. I have just started this- eating better and adding excercize- and this past week is the first time i am making it regular and boy do i notice a difference. My mood and outlook is better happier and I feel less stressed. Then I get this surge of energy (a little after the hurt wares off) and cant wait to work out again or go walking or just move! I hope this continues this way!!0

what's a raw meal?
raw=nothing cooked, all fresh yesterday I made home made tomato juice, though I think I should have had a salad (with raw dressing, probably a lemon) with it because the juice was a little too much acid0 -

So I got the water down, I know I'll do the sit ups and crunches, but I have 85 calories left for the day (and I didn't even eat everything they gave me for lunch!) I will not let you guys down! I think I need to go for a very long bike ride when I get home!0

Got challenge done and water down. I hve mare than enough calories for the rest of the day yay!! I've also completed week 3 of insanity today. Wahoo0

Already half way on my water and have a cycle class tonight; those definitely help with the water consumage! lol
I'll do my ab work after my class and I'll for sure be under my calorie goal because that class will rip it!0 -
crunches: check, sit ups: check, under calories: check, a million billion ounces of water: you bet! Whew! I'm so glad I joined this challenge otherwise I probably would have decided just to count today as a cheat day because of lunch.....you all got my butt in gear!0

We're going out to Chinese food tonight, but I just kicked my *kitten* at the gym so I would definitely have enough calories. I also didn't wake up until 11:30, so I ate breakfast around 12:00 and we'll be eating dinner around 5, so I haven't really used any calories for lunch.
I also got in my sit-ups today after my workout! I've only got 32 oz of water in today, time to start chugging!0 -

I know what you mean! My co-workers were eating an amazing high calorie lunch today AND my friends have been asking me to go out to ladies night (meaning alcohol and greasy foods) but I've been able to keep on track because I know I have to report back my progress. I'm so thankful for this challenge to help keep me in check and focused on the goal! THANKS TEAM!0 -

This is why I love this challange group- I probably would have just "to hell with it" for today because we were going out for Chinese food, but I WANTED MY POINT, haha.

Good morning! (And happy Thursday)

Today is my rest day from Insanity. Going to swim class for my 8 month old then i'm going for a bike ride. I'll get my ups and downs after the ride. Have a good day everyone.0
