NeuroticVirgo - I hear ya! I usually just exercise by minutes, not miles, so I don't ever really pay attention to how much I'm doing - unless I'm training for a 5k which lately I haven't been.

My 2 miles walked for the day - done
My extra 1 mile (run) for the day - done
    Under calories - done
64 oz - done and over
Swimmer presses - done with 3 lbs and 5 lbs. I alternated 10. Check my diary. Definitely helped with the burn. LOVE these and will definitely put them in my strength rotation!!

And I have to brag. Today I ran my fastest mile. My fastest mile as of last week was 11 something... today, 10:07. I started off at a comfortable 6.0mph and realized by 1/10 of a mile that it'd only been 1 minute and I was going to shave off a minute from my mile today so I just kept going! It felt amazing. I know I can do even better in a few days. WOOO!!!!

    50 swimmer's presses - done
    1 extra mile - done
64 ounces of water - done
    under calories - done
.8 mile toward my 7 miles this week (I didn't realize until tonight we had to do an extra mile today so my 1.8 doesn't count toward my weekly promise, just the .8) I'll do extra tomorrow toward the weekly goal.
Lost 4 pounds at my WW meeting this week! Oh, yeah, baby!!! I'm pretty excited!!
  • SHE'S BACKKKKKKKK!!!!

WOW and well DOUBLE WOW that was a lot to read!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS JILL!!! EVERYONE DID STELLAR TODAY!!!!

Yes, Gary sent out an email today informing captains that swimming and biking is now including in the 100 miles. THANK YOU Reesa for telling everyone!!! I DEARLY appreciate all the help today sooo much!

I got in 30 min of step and 15 min of abs and my swim pressers this am before leaving the house, but my mile will come in the am. Tonight I have a fierce headache and have logging, logging and more logging ahead of me. Reason: since we've added so many new people Gary had to redo our spreadsheets yet again which means I have to re-enter weights and everything. Don't worry I still have them from the last sheet!!!.

I think my headache is just from driving all day and after a good night's rest I will wake up my normal chipper healthy self and head out for the track in the am.

    I LOVE YOU TEAM PERSEVERANCE!!!

Reesa.......So, how did you like that BodyFlow class??
  • Trans4mations
    Trans4mations Posts: 90 Member
Hey Jill... pasting what I put on my status update about the class:

Soooo... the BodyFlow class was... let's say... HARD!!!!! Do you know how hard it is for me to balance on one foot...let alone moving my other body parts?!!! Simultaneously! They say I'm supposed to be a well-balanced person by being born in October ... but dangit, it didn't show today. LOL I lost count at how many times I almost fell over! And when she said squat down -ok, hands flat on the floor -ok, and lift BOTH feet up off the floor -say what?? I nearly died! LMBO!! Did she really think ALL this weight was going to be put on my wrists??! No Ma'am! LOL The best part of the class was the end.. when you laid on the floor thinking happy thoughts! LOL Will I try it again? Sure... but I don't think it will be any time soon!!!

All in all... it was refreshing to try something new. I guess I need to keep going and maybe I'll surprise myself at how flexible and balanced I can become. I do love a challenge!! We shall see. And, who knows... I may one day be able to lift my body up while squatting... but I know one thing for sure... today is NOT that day!! LOL

Sorry Guys! I totally bombed out of Monday & Tuesdays challenges!

    For Monday:
    Under Calories - Yes
    Water - Yes
    Exercise - Nadda :frown:

Tomorrow I have to drive 2 hours away to a specilist to check on a root canal I had like 10 years ago. If they can't fix it, then they have to do surgery and remove everything. Then I have to drive all the way back home. Tomorrow is not looking like a good day, so I don't know how tomorrow is going to go either! *sigh*

Good morning everyone!!! I could harldy get out of the bed this morning.. and going down my steps caused me to whimper out...my entire body aches...especially my legs (thighs). I have no idea how I'm going to get the exercises done, but I WILL get them done! I can see that Ibuprofen and BioFreeze will be my best friends this month... whew! Is anyone else in this much pain? But, as my ticker says... pain is weakness leaving the body. Gonna suck it up and journey on.

Sorry for complaining a bit... I hope everyone has a great day!

    Buffalo Chicken Wrap
    Servings: 4 servings
    Prep: 35 mins
    Total: 35 mins
2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce, such as Frank's RedHot
    3 tablespoons white vinegar, divided
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
    1 pound chicken tenders
    2 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
    2 tablespoons nonfat plain yogurt
    Freshly ground pepper, to taste
    1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
    4 8-inch whole-wheat tortillas
    1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
    1 cup sliced celery
    1 large tomato, diced
    Directions
    1. Whisk hot pepper sauce, 2 tablespoons vinegar and cayenne pepper in a medium bowl.
    2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken tenders; cook until cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Add to the bowl with the hot sauce; toss to coat well.
    3. Whisk mayonnaise, yogurt, pepper and the remaining 1 tablespoon vinegar in a small bowl. Stir in blue cheese.
    4. To assemble wraps: Lay a tortilla on a work surface or plate. Spread with 1 tablespoon blue cheese sauce and top with one-fourth of the chicken, lettuce, celery and tomato. Drizzle with some of the hot sauce remaining in the bowl and roll into a wrap sandwich. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
