Good morning Lovelies!!!

BRING ON THE WEEKEND & MORE STUDYING! WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! LOL0 -
Water - over!
Cals - under
Challenges - done (w/ one extra mile walked instead of the steps)
Monday is my birthday, and tomorrow I'll be with my friends celebrating it (pretty much all day!), so I will walk in the morning but I think I will otherwise take Sat. as my rest day. Will complete challenges for tomorrow on Sunday! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend - keep up the good work, y'all!0 -
Coming out from my cocoon today.....
Under Cals: well, I'm not done quite yet, but you can BET that I'll be under!! Still have 800 cals left, I think a small frozen yogurt won't be ther much!!!
Water: My back teeth are floating!!
Challenge exercises....done with a vengeance!
Mileage: Did one extra mile today bringing me to 7.5 miles out of the 7.0 that I pledged!!!
Had a great "circuit" going for my exercises today....after my Zumba class, I went to the track in the rec center. This track is such a size that 11 laps is a mile. Sooo, I did 4 laps just walking briskly. THEN, the next four laps were done like this: walk, get off at steps and run down them, do 25 jumping jacks at the bottom and run back up the steps. There were 28 steps in this flight. The, when I got to the top, I started another lap and did it all over again. So, 4 laps that way...then 3 laps to "cool down". The hot tub was, oh, so welcoming!! Then I came home and did the globe jumps...which I hated!! hahah!!
I am now officially tired...and deserving of the frozen yogurt that my hubby and I are going to go out and get!!
Happy Friday, Happy Weekend to everyone...and no slacking off unless it's your rest day!!!!!!!!0 -
By the way, aninamika....I LOVE your new profile pic!!! Very powerful!!0

Challenges done and 1 mile walked instead of the steps.
I only drank half my water today and I am over my calories by 100.
I don't really have an excuse, its all me. I had a date night with my hubby tonight and I over endulged.0 -
Got everything done today!!!!0
-
Under calories
80 oz water
100 jumping jacks
100 stair climbs
2 extra miles for the team!
24 globe jumps (sorry, tired from traveling, legs hurt and just can't get into this one)0 -
Thank you for checking in everyone!!! I'm logging it all in! Overall a pretty decent day for us. More than usual going over calories but also more than usual stepping it up physically. So it's hard for me to gripe.
Yours truly completed the challenges and did NOT enjoy the globe jumps at all. Under calories as always and I don't post all the water I drink in my diary because I get tired of being warned about water poisoning. I often drink 1.5 up to 2 gallons a day. I am still alive. Nuff said.
We have teammates who are M.I.A. Meaning they did fine week 1 and now in week 2 they have drifted away. I have reached out to them and a couple did respond. However, I still got 4-5 that I'm baffled over. Tomorrow I will be "visiting" profile pages. I can see when you all have last logged into your account smarty pants. So when it reads that you logged in each day this week but yet I heard zip out of you, um I'm on to you!
Ok, my turn to be a whiner for a moment. My NFL team blows a busted bagpipe tonight. Unreal how pathetic we are playing. Can someone hand me a crying towel?
Ok now for something related to weight loss. The closer I get to my goal weight the more my fat cells try to cling to my thighs. Last week the scale did not budge and I'm not looking forward to this week's weigh in. Am I eating uber healthy and working out faithfully? ABSOLUTELY. Will I give up? NEVER. I do however know what my faults are and a big one is not pushing myself past the limit. When I get fatigued I stop and say that's it, no more today. I really don't have an issue with over eating. It happens but it's a rare day indeed.
Hold me accountable team to working out harder and longer. My goal is 90 min of exercise a day and I've been averaging around 70 instead. So if you see me post my workout and it's UNDER 90 min you need to encourage me to get up off my cellulite and move a little more.
Love you all and if I sound a little down tonight and more quiet it's cause I am a huge football fan and my Chiefs blow chunks tonight.
Hugs,
Lori0 -
For the record, I would like to say that globe jumps are not my favorite thing to do in this world. I'd rather do 200 stair climbs over globe jumps!!!
That said, I did the globe jumps, jumping jacks & stair climbs (living on the 2nd floor of the apartment bldg proved to be beneficial once again).
I'm under calories & met my water goal today.
It's stormy here and the power has blinked a few times so I'm going to shut off the computer for the nite.
I'm sooooo hoping for increased energy tomorrow. I want to feel NORMAL again!
Nite all.0 -
Hi team
Did jacks jumps stairs and 7 miles. I feel like a Mack truck hit me, but hey..,did it for the team!!

Under calories
24 miles to date - 1 more mile to go
Over and out- I'm dead!
Love you0 -
I did the 100 stair climbs, 100 jumping jacks, and 1 mile instead of the globe jumps. I also cycled/jogged another 4 miles to contribute to the team's miles.
Under calories
Over water
I hurt... going to bed... goodnight.
p.s--- I'm convinced that Nutella is the devil.
p.s. #2 ..lol... Lori, 25 to zip??? Really? Smh. Nite.
oh... p.s. #3--- Happy Birthday Elana!!0 -
Thank you!0
-
I request that, if globe jumps makes another challenge exercise, that we hunt Gary down and make him do ALL of ours!! haha!! Seems everyone hates them! I'm not a whiner about what exercises do to me, but, MAN, did those leave my knees hurting! I could HEAR them grind during them!! yikes!! Soooooo....those will have some sort of alternate for ME in the future if we have them again!!0
-
Lori~We are here for you! The Chiefs are DA BOMB! They are just warming up. They just need you as their PERSONAL cheerleader!
And we will push you for your 90!
My Update
Under Calories
Over water
And taking my rest day today and doing exercises on Sunday.0 -
MY FAVORITE RECIPE
I love my slow cooker and this chicken chili is a delicious, low calorie, high fiber meal. It's so easy to make and it is great over rice, with multi-grain chips, topped with low fat cheddar cheese or low fat sour cream. This makes a lot and it is even better the next day for lunch!
Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili
Servings: 10 • Size: 1 1/4 cups • Old Points: 3 pts • Points+: 5 pts
Calories: 203.7 • Fat: 1.4 g • Carb: 33.3 g • Fiber: 10.0 g • Protein: 16.9 g
1 onion, chopped
1 16-oz can black beans
1 16-oz can kidney beans
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
10 oz package frozen corn kernels
2 14.5-oz cans diced tomatoes w/chilies
1 packet taco seasoning
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp chili powder
24 oz (3-4) boneless skinless chicken breasts
chili peppers, chopped (optional)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Combine beans, onion, chili peppers, corn, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder and taco seasoning in a slow cooker. Place chicken on top and cover. Cook on low for 10 hours or on high for 6 hours. Half hour before serving, remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in. Top with fresh cilantro. Also try it with low fat cheese and sour cream (extra calories).0 -
Sorry KJ, I read Tanya's question and asked Gary and posted it as soon as I got an answer. :-( Forgive me?
I don't think we can know where our team is ranked at the moment. We captains turn the info into Gary at the end of every week and he doesn't tell us who is in what place. Will have to wait until the very end of the month most likely. :-(
No problem I just had to giggle to myself when I read it! I'm glad I didn't' see it otherwise I never would have pushed myself.
I can't wait till the end then!! I'm very competitive (just like you) I hope we are doing all right all things considered.0 -
By the way, aninamika....I LOVE your new profile pic!!! Very powerful!!
I know right! I love it too and use it as motivation.0 -
hey lori & team - add another 2 miles to the team challenge! I'm done!0

Those shoulder presses were hard work. I am in pain right now and I only used 3 pound weights.0

Wow Tanya - you're working it!!0

Congrats on all the successes I just read about everyone!!! So proud of you! I was still down this am that my team had lost until I got on the scales. I've lost another pound!!! Praise the Lord! I feel so blessed this am as I drink my decaf aka faux coffee! I am finally 135 pounds for a grand total loss of 112 lbs to date!
Ok I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this BUT since some of you have already seen it, here it is. Enjoy!

mmmm if it didn't think this week was going to kill me next week sure will (wink wink)
SO today was an awesome day for exercise, eating and drinking water (not so good for the studying though!)
All activities completed!!!
And an extra 2 miles for the team!
I've only done 4 extra miles so far but 2morrow is usually my rest day but I'm hoping the weather is good so I can take the puppy for a walk to make up a couple more.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!0 -
