Man...there are PAGES of "Bumps" on here! Makes it a wee bit hard to find the recipes! ;p

I use the McCormick Slow Cooker seasoning packs frequently. They have ones for Vegetable Beef Soup, Chicken Soup, Beef Stew, etc. All very easy to do. I have also done chicken cooked with chipotle peppers and salsa.

You can pretty much throw ANYTHING in a crock pot and cook it together as long as you have enough liquid. Add meat + veggies + seasoning + liquid and GO!

Example: Chicken breasts, frozen mixed "Mexican" veggies, taco seasoning, and low-sodium chicken broth. Great warm, on salads, in wraps, etc.

    HOT SAUSAGE SPAGHETTI

    Ingredients:
1 32oz can of tomato sauce
1 pkg of Thick and Zesty spaghetti sauce mix
    1 cup of water
1 pkg of Hot Italian Sausage (about 5)

    Directions:
Add all ingredients to crock pot, set on low for about 6-8 hours.
Get home, make noodles, and mix and done! =)

*I used all Kroger brand ingredients and I added the sauce to the food database under Hot Sausage Spaghetti Sauce, so you will have to use the nutritional info on whatever noodle you choose.
Also...the sausage is pretty spicy, but does not carry into the sauce, so if you are serving those who do not like spicy food, just remove the sausage after cooking.

I love my crockpot. With 6 people in our family it's great to use on busy nights. Here are some of my favorite recipes.

    Taco Soup

    2lbs ground meat
    2 cans niblet corn
    2 cans pinto beans
    2 cans tomato soup
    2 packs of taco seasoning.

Just brown the meat and then throw everything in the pot and stir.

    Cheesy Mexican Chicken

    2lbs frozen chicken breast
    2 cans rotel
    1 pack taco seasoning
2 cans fiesta naco cheese soup

Mix everything together in the crock pot, then place the chicken. Cook for 8 hours and then shred the chicken. I served it over rice, but it would be great in a soft taco shell, or on chips.

    Pot Roast

    1 chuck roast
2 packs lipton onion soup mix
    2 cups water.

Mix together and cook for 8 hours.

    BBQ Chicken

    3 lbs chicken drumsticks
    1 bottle of bbq sauce

Like someone else said, you can really do anything in the crock pot, as long as you have time to let it cook. You do have to make sure that you have enough liquid so that it doesn't dry out on you.

I am looking forward to trying some of the new recipes on here. Happy Slow cooking!
