    Count me in! I just joined yesterday and want to kickstart my fitness plan to lose the 30 pounds I've gained since college. I'm down to AT LEAST try to get to 5000 calories a week by doing a combo of 30 day shred and couch to 5k. Actually, no, I'm not going to try- I'm going to do it!

    Managed to walk this afternoon - 2 hours, but kind of slowly. My leg is hurting big style. So tonight I'll have to just have a swim, instead of my Big Gym Plans. I do hope this leg heals up soon, as I'm starting to twitch without a reasonably decent burn.... Sigh.

    ETA, I am officially cursed. Pools was closed due to 'accident' (probably someone's kid threw up in it....)

    So, basically I managed 698 cal today, just walking a couple of hours. Hopefully tomorrow will be less frustrating!

    WOW! That's an insane amount of calories to burn a week. I am no where near that now but am willing to give it a shot. Count me in!!!

    Yesterday I burned 940 calories- (walk/jog dvd 12 min/mile)
    Today I burned 1296 calories- (35 min on elliptical, 60 minutes walk/jog dvd 12 min/mile)

    Awesome job!! You are doing soooo great!

    I made it through the day with 803 burned (treadmill and swimming)!

    Monday & Tuesday - Walking, 30 day shred, elliptical, basketball

    I have burned 1472 calories. Its going to be hard this week to meet the challenge as I am going away for 4 days but Im going to do this!

    dip into them if you are hungry, i'd say. i wouldnt try to eat the lot.

    I will eat if I'm hungry, but I usually don't eat them all back. I find that I'm more hungry on days that I don't burn too many calories.

    Monday - Boot Camp - 869
    Tuesday - Walk DVD (3miles) - 473 My first day of booty camp kicked my booty so I'm glad I could at least do something with all the aches!!!
    Wednesday - Boot Camp - 1028
    2370 total for the week - just about 1/2 way there. YAY!!!!

    I'm hoping to get a heart rate monitor soon so I can be more accurate, but for now I'm using different websites for a calorie burned calculator as well as mfp and taking whatever site gives me the lowest number. Tomorrow or Saturday is probably my rest day so I've been trying to get a good burn in every day. Plus I know next week I'll be much more busy and have shorted workouts so it'll be a lot harder to reach the 5,000 next week.
