  • Do you know what....I saw this thread and I commented that if I did this I would end up killing myself! Well this week I have burned nearly 3000 calories! So I can do this! Thank you for making me realise this is attainable.

    Tuesday - Spin Class @ 45 min Calories burned 660; and Treadmill Jog 1.28 Miles Calories burned 208
    Wednesday - Ran 4.55 Miles, Calories burned 769
    Thursday - Spinervals Uphill Grind @ 45 min., Calories burned 860
    Friday - Spinervals DVD @ 45 min., Calories burned 854.5
    Saturday - Spinervals DVD @ 45 min., Calories burned 931
    Sunday - Rest Day
    Total for the week:

    Sunday (8/28): 1062 (2 1/2 hours singles tennis)
    Monday (8/29): 578 (2 hours doubles tennis)
    Tuesday (8/30): 882 (45 min. Cardio Hip Hop Class-373; 45 min. Pump it Up Class-246; 22 min. Elliptical-263)
    Wednesday (8/31): 239 (3 hours playing and swimming @ the Beach) :o)
    Thursday (9/01): 882 (45 min. Cardio Hip Hop Class-373; 45 min. Pump it Up Class-246; 22 min. Elliptical-263)
    Friday (9/02): 779 (45 min. Zumba Toning Class-339; 30 min. Elliptical-359; 16 min. brisk walk-81)
    Saturday (9/03): 721 (60 min. (12 miles) bicycling outside; 18 min. brisk walk-90

    Total for the week: 5,143 calories burned and 3 pounds lost!! :o)

    Finally got myself a decent HRM tonight! Can't wait to try it out in the morning and see if what MFP calculates is anywhere close to the HRM reading. As of tonight I only need 658 more exercise calories! Woohoo!

    Its pretty tough but made it ....5,097 calories and lost 2.4 lb
    Should hit the goal weight in 4 weeks if I can keep it up !

    Not too shabby. I wish I had the cash to buy a heart monitor--the running on MFP is never quite right for my pace and doesn't take into account that half my run is uphill the whole way.

    I will start with you all on Monday, but for my half week, I think I was on target!

    Lost 2 lbs! (but to be fair my TOM ended, which always brings me down. I don't expect that kind of loss every week.)

    I did several hours of cardio on Saturday and Sunday, hence the bigger numbers. It was great. I don't think I've ever pushed quite that hard before!

    09/04: Total calories burned 3516 from 724 minutes of exercise. weight= no real difference as i lost what i gained the week before.

    I need to burn more per hour.....working on next week:wink:

  • I'm about 700 calories away from the goal! This injury and holiday weekend slowed me down but that motivates me even more to reach it or go beyond it for next week!
