Thanks all for your well wishes! Can't wait to get in the cycling challenge for next month. I'm going to drill it down to 125 miles because I'm going to focus on strength & endurance. It took me 5 months on the stationary bike at Level 1 to hit 15 mph. Now today I cranked the machine up to level 2 and got my 15+ miles in 60 minutes. Now I'll start Level 3 and will see how long it takes me to get to 14 miles. Today, my heart rate was up to 180 and I was biking at an average of 95 rpm's just to make it to the 15 miles. I don't want to fall out or anything.

September bike total was 311 miles. Pretty good considering everything going on and I think my goal was 150. Hoping for 150 for October, losing daylight and the weather is getting cooler here. Did 30 today so only 120 left

Ended up with only 205 miles in September so I missed my goal of 250. I lose a lot of my weekend riding time with football games and work did not seem to cut me any breaks. Hopefully next month will be better, of course now I have to worry about the weather!

OK guys, here's the totals for this month: Total number of active riders: 22. Total number of miles cycled 5614.18.
So how far is that??? We could have had a relay ride from Miami, Fl to Anchorage, Alaska and still have 614 miles left over. Not bad for 22 individuals. Keep spinning guys :-)0 -
