How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing good. I just wanted to check in. I don't know about any one else but my allergies are kicking my rear. I appreciate everyone's vote of confidence in me. I do love this group so much. I get so much out of it doing the database each month. Like I said in the beginning this is my first month to running it so please if I can do something to help it run smoother or make it better let me know.0

I am having trouble with sinus drainage. It is bothering my throat. Any home remidies??0

Okay so this sounds weird to clearing out your sinuses, but it works. When you're in the shower, try to get the water as warm as you can, put your face under the water and hum. The humming breaks up the mucus and relieves the sinus pressure. The other thing I use is a neti pot. I got my mom started on it too, who has had really bad allergies for years. She told me the other day that the constant drainage and having to clear her throat has stopped. Hope this helps!0

the shower thing works ! I also have been drinking a lot of chai black tea and running outside while its cold in the morning before it gets too warm has helped a bit, I also have asthma so it doesn't help my allergies lol0

Weigh in day tomorrow and not looking forward to it. My cravings are driving me nuts. Only a few more days on the meds then hopefully I can get rid of these cravings and start showing some progress.0

the scale has been moving for me at the beginning of the week but now it is stuck, I need to stop weighing myself everyday, but I am a numbers girl ! I feel like I have been eating well but so bloated... drinking only water and lots of it limiting sodium as much as possible ugh0

Pickle juice will help with any sore throat that you might be having problems with. if you ears are bothering you take a old sock but rice in it. Heat it up in the microwave until it is warm. But it on your ear. It will help pull the moisture and infection out. I hope this helps.0

Well, no change this week. I had two bad days last week... not one, but two. Eating at someone else's house is always a temptation/ excuse to eat in a way that does not support the future I want to see. But I am still encouraged because in the past, two bad dinners would have resulted in a significant gain. This week I am going to try to be more aware of eating with other people... I know I can't bring my own dinner to someone's home... but I CAN make better (read "smaller") choices!
It looks like everyone else is doing really well. Keep it up y'all! We can DO this!

I really need to do something different and I think this is it. I keep trying to diet then ending up eating bad, gain everything back, then start the cycle over and over! It's driving me crazy.
Is it too late to join this challenge?

I had a small loss of a pound and a half. A step in the right direction though0 -
I am, but this weeks loss will probably be much less, and last night I stress ate not a ton but still not good and I forgot to log, but today is a new day and I am focusing on lots of fruits and veggies this week !

So I had a bad week, I gained 1.2, stressed eating for 2 days, and little exercise. Whew that week is behind me. I joined a program at work to start training for a 5k in Decemeber. Im hopeful this will keep me motivated for exercise. I hope everyone else had a great week.0
