I'd be interested! I attempted a few months ago. I stopped on Day 3 of Week 5; the dreaded 20 minute run. C25k doesn't do a phenomenal job with moving the scale, but it does a heck of a job with toning and dropping inches!
    Current weight: 147
    Mini-goal weight: 139
    Overall goal weight: 130
    I'll be starting next week.

I am not sure about joining a group I am not sure how long I can keep it up I have weak ankles... but I did day 1 week 1 today and found it interesting... might continue on that one for a while, I was out of breath by the end, and when I stepped of the treadmill (I do it on the treadmill) my legs were jello and I felt like WEEEEEEEEEEEE I can fly haha...
it is a great workout thought :D

I dont have any idea abt weak ankles but 2 weeks back i had so much pain in knees that i was looking on internet for kind of exercises i could do without stressing my knees. A MFP buddy suggested Leslie sansone walk away the pounds i started with 1 mile and in 4 days in moved up to 4 miles then i started doing winsor Pilates its totally no stress on knees and ankles all floor exercises.

Im quite fine these day though i have upgraded my exercise levels. but there could be 2 reasons for good change
    1) i was diagnosed with vit D deficiency 3 weeks back and now im taking med.
    2) i am drinking 6-8 glasses of water. i know u would say its pretty normal but i was drinking way too low. im not sure it will relate to ankles or not.

may be u need good stretch for ankles after exercises. or proper running shoes.

ill be doing treadmill after a longtime, lets see how my knees respond

Actually c25k is my sub-challenge, I have started a challenge for pear shaped buddies which comprises of 3 days/week of c25k and other 3day/week of Jillian Micheal's killer buns and thighs workout. so by the completion of 8 weeks of c25k, 30 days of JM workout will be done.

What would truly represent this running and JM killer buns n thighs challenge: here it is

Jillian running and flaunting her killer thighs and buns

If u want to add the pic to your signature, PM me coz im unableto figure out how to post the code here, coz when i paste code here it shows pic not code

I was going to start C25K this weekend, so this is perfect! How do I "join" the group?

I want to train for a 70 mile relay in April and this is going to be my starting point. Anyone else in South Carolina area interested in the Palmetto 70?

I was thinking to start the C25K on Monday

I have had sick kids the last week or so and now of course I have come down with this head cold thing as well but I am just hoping that I will be feeling better by Monday and be ready to get started!!

I have started C25K a couple of times but never made it all the way to the end :blushing: this time for sure!!!

I think it is a great idea to include measurements, I will post mine tomorrow

I'd love to join this challenge! I use to love running and since I put on the extra weight I haven't been able to run like I use to. My daughter also joined Cross Country this year and I thought it would be great for us to both go on runs together. I will take my measurements later and post them. Are we going to use a spreadsheet using Google Docs or are we posting everything in the forum? Please let me know and I will make sure to track my stats. Thanks for posting this, I'm looking forward to starting this Monday (31st)
