There are shows onDemand (cable) that have you walking along (in place) for 20 minutes and it is a mile. The challenge is doing it while no one else in the family is watching! We only have one TV (I know it's old fashioned!) so if they are watching something, I am out of luck.

    Log for Friday.
Water - 101.4 ounces (the pennies in the pocket are working great! i reach in and realize i need to get drinking)
Miles - Walked - well... none. I had to work through lunch today and now we are having a dust storm IN November!!!
i plan to walk my patootee off tomorrow, just need to know where the team stands as soon as possible. i'm 3 hours behind so i'll need to get my walking done and reported no later than 2 pm! (1:30 to be safest)

I need to get a treadmill - if you had to buy one what features would you want on it and why?

Water -- we're all doing great -- everyone has had at least 100 oz every day!!!

Walking -- we are at just under 50 miles, with only myself and pkiddy logged in for Friday.... so, if everyone else logs in 1.5 miles Friday, and we each log 5 miles Saturday.... we can make it!!! Of course, I know some of us can't walk or run 5 miles, so those who can need to try step up and help the others! This is TEAMWORK ladies!!

Otherwise, we'll all be doing 100 burpees next week... for those who need some incentive to walk, here's a burpee:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYfNA_lmkHM

Get me your water and walking asap Saturday so I can turn them in to MM on time.... make sure you PM your weight, water, and walking to MM as well by 5pm EASTERN (2:00 pacific for Marj)

    GO TEAM!!! :drinker: <
    water
  • Friday report: Exercise: 2.08 miles on Elliptical, 1.25 miles on track = 3.33 miles
    112 oz water

Keep it up, TEAM. Will get my numbers in on time tomorrow!

Got 120 oz of water (and am going to cause plumbing problems at work being in there so often!) and walked 2 miles today. For tomorrow, I will get in the water and try to get to the gym. Maybe I can do more miles on the elliptical and then the treadmill. I will do my best!

I'm already over 100 oz for today.... my miles are coming, as I'm heading out in a few minutes to do 4+ miles. I'll send my numbers to MM before I leave, since they will be late if I wait until I get back. I'll update final numbers as soon as everyone gets them to me -- DON'T FORGET to send them to MM by 5:00 TODAY!!!!

We are close -- hopefully we can do this!!!

OK -- Final tally for week 1:

Total water: 4326 oz -- EVERYONE drank over 100 oz everyday!! WOOT WOOT!!!! :drinker:
Total miles: 83.43. EVERYONE contributed miles. We came in a little bit short -- but considering that two of our members are first-time exercisers, and two of our members are battling injuries -- WE DID GREAT!!!
Weight loss: I don't have firm numbers -- but I know that everyone (except your captain who has hit a major plateau that is frustrating the *$%@ out of me!!) lost weight this week. We'll get weight numbers when MM posts the next challenge.

I am SO PROUD of each and every one of us -- we gave it our best shot!!! This was a tough first week!!

We'll end up incurring penalties, but they will just spur us on to more weight loss this next week!!! Get ready for a great week -- and let's go TEAM WAIST REMOVERS!!!!!!

WOO HOO!!!! No burpees for Team Waist Removers!!! Great job on week one!!!

For week two, please post the following each day (Monday - Saturday):

Water: number of oz (goal is 100+)
Fruits/Veggies: number of servings (you don't need to list what kind or for which meal -- I trust you!!)
21's (or alt): Yes or No (these are often easier to do in sets than all together)
Jumping Jacks: number completed (goal is 21 or more each day)

I'll track it all on a spreadsheet -- MM has asked captains to send a team total, instead of individual challengers sending their totals. On Saturday, please also post your weight -- I need all info NO LATER than 5:00 Eastern on Saturday!!

Let's go Team!! We can totally rock this one!!!

And while my bladder is a bit unhappy, the rest of me is getting used to all the water. When I did not drink it all yesterday (car shopping with hubby) I really felt it!
