    For Monday:

Drank 104 oz of water (and almost didn't make it to the ladies room!), did my kicks and bicycle (that was harder than I thought!). I also modified the mountain climbers to do them against my desk (I was alone in the office!), but did them. What really was hard was the shuffle. I could only do 1 minute at a time before having to take a brief break. But I did all 5 minutes. Maybe by the end of the week I will be able to do 2-3 minutes at a time.

    Monday:
    Water - 104
The exercises are going to have to wait until Wednesday. I'm still not up to par (in fact, I took today off work to rest and get caught up on stuff I didn't get to do over the weekend while i was so sick!!) and don't want to push it. It took me four hours just to do my Christmas trees this afternoon -- it's all i've done today, and I'm utterly exhausted. Tomorrow is another day -- I'll make up my exercises this week, I promise!!

You need to rest and take care of yourself first! Doing too much too soon will only get you sick again. Hope you (and your children) are feeling better.

Hi Everyone! I'm at 112 oz of water today (I guess the fear of burpees will do what nothing else will!), did my bicycle crunches, modified mountain climbers and donkey kicks. But I do them on my bed (its a firm mattress) because I can't get up and down from the floor. Or so I thought! I had to get down on the floor today to plug something in at work, and it wasn't too difficult. And then I got back up fairly easily. (At least for me!). So when I had to unplug it at the end of the day, I did an extra set of kicks-just because I could! It's been a good day.

Your captain is reporting that she was finally able to get in a workout (small, but at least it was a start!!)

15 minutes each: treadmill (walk, no running :ohwell: ), elliptical and stationary bike.
Plus: 2 sets of 12 donkey kicks each leg, 50 bicycle crunches, and I tried the shuffle but only managed one minute before getting dizzy -- those will have to wait. I may need to put them off until my equilibrium gets balanced again.... don't need to take a face plant!!

I may not be back, but at least I'm heading in the right direction

Edited to add: I've gotten my water in everyday -- 104 to 112 oz each day!!

Busy day at work today-Got in 112 oz of water did my kicks and crunches, and did the shuffles too. (I did them yesterday, but forgot with all the other stuff!) I was also teaching classes today for 6 hours, standing and walking around the classroom. I don't know how teachers do that every day. My feet are killing me! But the classes were very successful, and people were excited about the material, so it was a good day.

Now it's bed time-because I get to do the same thing again tomorrow!

Great job from everyone!!! Leigh -- you are putting us to shame with all your hard work! Way to go, girl!!!

    Thursday report:

water: 120 oz; 24 donkey kicks each leg (yay, I'm caught up!!); 50 crunches; shuffle is waiting until next week because the back/forth still makes me dizzy (no penalty -- I've already checked in with Tonya).

I did complete a trial 5K tonight... slow (50 minutes) but good enough that I know I'll be able to complete it on Sunday when I participate in the Reindeer Run.

Kids are slowly on the mend -- they get frustrated with how tired their bodies get, even when they don't do much more than go to school and come home and rest. I'm doing better, as long as remember to sit down and not walk around my classroom all day!! My coughing fits are good reminders.... LOL

Today I am at 14 glasses of water (112 oz), did my kicks, and bicycle. Also did the shuffle and 25 wall push ups. (I forgot we were doing mountain climbers, and I'm too tired to do them now!)

This may be TMI, but has anyone else noticed that when you are drinking all that water, you have to "go" more frequently, but the urgency isn't quite as bad? Maybe it's because I am drinking a lot less soda (and caffine)? Or maybe I'm just getting used to it!

Today's check in: I know it's early, but I have a busy afternoon and may not have a chance to check in tomorrow morning to get my numbers in.

I lost 2 lbs. (218 now-bye bye 20's!). I have in 48 oz water so far today, and I know I will get over 100 today and tomorrow (I'm teaching for 6 hours, so I tend to drink a lot and now I am choosing water!). I did my bicycles today and will tomorrow, along with my kicks (those are kind of fun!) and shuffle.

I really felt like I was struggling this month (no change in several weeks on the scale until now!), but I still lost 1.75" from waist and 1.5" from hips, so even though the scale was not moving, changes were taking place.

I hope everyone else had a great week!

Barely able to get anything done -- didn't get home after work/dinner/pick up kids and friends until after 9:00.

Still, walked around school about 12 extra times (just one of those days -- running from one place to another for 40 minutes straight), plus seven trips around the store trying to find something cute to wear to my husband's Christmas party next week (seven trips to the racks, plus seven trips to the fitting rooms with 2-3 outfits each time.... lots of changing...

plus two trips around the mall after picking up the kids and having dinner.....

then crunches, donkey kicks, leg kicks and running in place in the living room.

    Not the world's greatest day.....

Hopefully will get in a decent workout tomorrow before my 5K Reindeer Run on Sunday!!

Oh, and got my water in......

    Hey Team!!

Just as a heads-up.... we all kind of struggled with weights this week. Even though we all worked hard (or as heard as I could....sorry) we are not going to make our 1% goal.

Leigh (achampionsheart) lost the most from Saturday to Saturday (-3.5) which brought her back to where she was the week before. Marj (pkiddy) lost 0.3, Maureen lost 2.0 (woo hoo), MarchelleLynne lost 0.8 and I lost 0.6. Best news -- NOBODY GAINED!!!

This week -- let's really take a stand!! Let's set a goal for ourselves and see if we can do it!!

My goal this week is 45 minutes of exercise 5 days this week, 100 ounces of water each day, NO CHOCOLATE and lose 1.0 lb.
