    Goals for January:
    Swim: 2.4 miles
    Bike: 56 miles (Half IM distance...I know the wind chill will keep me from getting out a lot)
    Run: 75 miles (81 miles on my training plan but realistically know I'll get sick and miss a run or two)

    Totals:
    Swim: 0 miles
    Bike: 22.5 miles
    Run: 25.7 miles

    Pool is still closed until the 18th or 19th hence the "0" in swimming.

    How's it going, pals?

    January goals:
    Swim 10 miles (Way less than January last year (30+) but I haven't swam in some months.)
    Bike more than 180 miles (30 more than December)
    Walk/Run at least 26.2 miles (about double December)

    So far (1/7)
    Swim - 1.31 miles
    Bike - 33.29 miles
    Walk/Run - 12.70

    Amazingly, I'm doing relatively better at walk/run than bike or swim. I'm worried about making the biking goal when it's going to be mostly trainer rides this month...

    Swimming the next two or three days so should bring that up again as well as more biking and running :-)

    Hi, I started incorporating a little bit of weight-training lately, a couple times a week. Primarily upper body work. I don't work my legs so much with weights since they are injury-prone and already ripped so much from doing intense interval training on the bike and running. I recently signed up for a half marathon in March. My marathon friend is starting to get me ready for that race. This will be my second organized race ever; ran my first 5k last May. Also, on September 8 & 9 of this year, I plan on biking 100 miles each day at the Missouri MS150 event. I'm sure I'll get talked into a few other events during the year (lol).

    Another dress rehersal for my indoor Tri on Sunday. Not sure if I got faster. I hit a button on my watch and wasn't sure how long the timer had stopped. Oooops. Once again I had to slow down to not run over NYRers. The actual event they'll be cleared out.

    Only the second day at the gym-- REALLY having trouble settling into a new routine this semester. Walked 1.25 miles; Erogonometer 2.5 miles. Got a lot of miles to make up before the end of the month, but I VOW to get to the pool at least once this week.
