    It sounds to me like she is a bully and I'm sure she has made hurtful remarks to lots of people.
    I work with a bully and I spend a lot of time praying for her!!
    People like that are really sad and hurting...too bad they try to inflict their pain on others!

    Start talking to them about road kill,and how you think blood and maggots crawling on dead things is really really hot. Then tell them they would look beautifull with blood and maggots follow that with a manical laugh and you will be lucky if they look at you again

    Wear ear buds, listen to loud music, and ignore everyone else. Who cares what anyone else says or thinks! You are at the gym working out which is still more than what most people are doing!

    This would be the best suggestion!?! But on the defensive, I know that I've said somethings kinda like that to my sister when her and I go to the gym to get her motivated. However, I don't point to someone and say that, I say "Come on, you've got to do it better then that and push yourself otherwise you aren't doing anything for yourself." But like this person said, just put your head phones on and go at it. I get comments but they are opposite of that. I do squats with 480lbs and leg press with the same amount and I get women coming behind me to the machines and saying, "God, what woman would do that?? That is so manly to be using that much weight." I just shrug it off cause I know my body and I know what it requires to get a work out done. :)

    I would walk over there and say, Hey, I heard that and I don't appreciate it. It's completely unnecessary to say things like that. You'd be surprised what would happen if you call them out on it. I work out at a University gym with all the girls in their fancy workout clothes and skinny tush's. Sometimes I get looks like whats that girl doing here. I'm working on my health just like you are. That's what. Dont let them get you down.

    Well I am known to have a HUGE mouth....I would of just said maybe next time you should be careful who you talk to...because when I am done with you only one person would be called the P**sy!

    But if she keeps it up a couple more times I would let someone know as they have a strict policy at gyms for stuff like that.

    Well, I am glad you took the high road. Clearly that girl has some insecurities herself, is unhappy with her own life, and needs to be tough because she herself is fearful that people will make fun of her.

    Don't let it get to you...continue to work your @$$ off and show that B1tch that her words don't bother you. Block out the noise and stay positive! :)

    I'm glad you didn't give it to her. She WANTED a confrontation. Why should you give her what she wants? (Why should she want a confrontation with you? Some people are just like that.)
    Do you have a workout buddy? A friend alongside you may help to divert your attention away from the mean girls. If you don't pay attention to what they say, then what they say can't hurt you.
