I'm not good with eyeballing inches when it comes to food. So how much should I pour into the pan for 1 pancake? (cup, oz, tbs, ml...) I'll be using a small frying pan since I'm making this for myself0

tastless without sweetner.
I have a 72cal Recipe here for those who are interested in sweet but without guilt. As endorsed by Top chef Antony Worrall Thompson: "It's still possible to enjoy your Shrove Tuesday pancakes whilst reducing the calories piled on through added sugar."
For the Batter Mixture:
(serves 4)
4oz wholemeal flour
1 egg
Half a pint of skimmed milk
1 tsp Splenda Granulated Sweetener
Destructions
Put flour into basin and make a well in the middle.
Put egg in well, and stir in the flour, adding milk to make a smooth paste.
Beat thoroughly to ensure the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
Add the remaining milk and stir in the sweetener
Using a non-stick frying pan sprayed with Frylight, pour in enough batter to coat the base of the pan.
When the underside is brown, toss the pancake, or use a spatula to turn it over and cook on the other side.
Serve with your favorite topping, replacing any sugar with Sweetener.

Am i correct in thinking that these are the American style pancakes - rather than what we in the UK eat as pancakes ( morelike a crepe) ?
I know the mix is similar - but for the pancakes we make in the UK the mix is only flour, milk ( I tend to use mainly water though) and an egg). The mix is poured in and spread over the base of the frying pan - making a very thin pancake which is then rolled up to eat.
I shall be makingsome myself later on when son gets in from school. We don't just eat them on Shrove Tuesday either0 -

I'm going to make the original OP's ones but using wholemeal flour instead & then filling them with chicken breast and melted cottage cheese for dinner then a lemon and honey one for dessert, can't wait0

you could also mix milk with water so you're using less milk!0
