I am down 12 pounds but know I've lost inches, as my clothes are fitting me and/or are loose. I still have 30 more to go, so like the other poster said, slow and steady. But I'm motivated at least to see some progress. And with the warm weather starting, makes me feel even more motivated to get this flub off of me finally!0

I started SERIOUSLY trying to lose weight on Jan. 1, 2012. Yes, it was a New Year's resolution, and one I promise to keep. On January 1st, I weighed in at 224.8lbs. My highest weight EVER!!! I am currently 206.0lbs, so I have lost approximately 19lbs. My goal is to lose 75lbs by Jan. 1, 2013.
Good work everyone! You all have made amazing progress! I'm loving this thread.0 -
19 lbs loss and now at goal weight.
The challenge is now to maintain and not yo yo over the next twelve months, as I have previously.
Over the last 4 years weight has ranged from 162 - 223 lbs.
Intend to keep using MFP to focus on diet and portion size.0 -
I started January 3 and lost 10 pounds before coming to MFP toward the end of February. I've lost another 9 pounds on MFP, so that's 19 pounds all together. Thinking about it, I guess I've averaged about 2 pounds a week, but it hasn't come off like that. A couple of weeks quite a bit more and many weeks, quite a bit less.0

I weighed 193.9 on January 1, 2012. As of March 20, I am at 183.6 so down 10 and hoping for 2 more lbs. to keep my 1lb a week average going! I'm 5'6'' and just purchased my very first size 8 pant. Full disclosure: the jeans were made with stretchy 'buttersoft' denim lolololol.0

1January I was in size 16 and weighed 196 lbs.

I think it was middle of December that I joined MFP? I really started to get serious in February til now. But from December til now I have lost 16 lbs. I think everyone needs to go at their own pace, and not lose too much too soon.0

Started the day after Christmas, down 32 pounds! I have 60 to go, and I've slowed myself down a bit so I lose 100% fat and 0% muscle. My calorie deficit was...ambitious. I'm on a safer, slower track now, and happy to have made the change! Keep plugging away!0
-
Started on MFP Dec 31st! I've lost 4 lbs and about 5 lbs left to go. The biggest changes though have been in my level of fitness and health! It's amazing how much fitter I've gotten in 2 1/2 months! I love all the advice and knowledge I've gained from other MFP members!!0
