I think a HRM would also give a false reading as sure your heart rate is up due to arousal, but not necessarily your oxygen intake

Sometimes I sweat more then I do on the eliptical Oo

And I sweat more sittin in front of the heater than I do running...

Probably most indelicate, but why the heck do you need to log it as cardio activity? It's covered under your normal daily activity level expressed in your lifestyle of sedentary, mildly active, active, etc.

Oh, it's great exercise! SELF magazine even recommends it for potential calorie burning fun! LOL! But not if you're lazy and just lie there, you have to be actively involved.

I LOVE logging as "wrestling" that was awesome!

I created my own exercise for it. 60min = 167 calories. Something like that, read it in Men's Health.

    60 minutes????

lol, I wondered this too! I don't try to log them though, it wouldn't be that much fun if I had to time it then think about how much effort he did vs me ;)

You don't log regular daily activities to your exercise diary, do you?

No, it doesn't happen daily for me
But I wish it did, so I'm not logging it when it happens.

Seriously, I get that we're all focusing on getting fit and/or losing weight, but if you're actually spending time thinking about logging that, you may need to reevaluate your priorities in life. Just enjoy it!

I went onto another site that calculates it & made up a workout name for it in the database so I can log it...If it's a quickie I don't log that but if it goes on for awhile, then why not...I hope that is not TMI...lol
