    I would not want my partner going to a strip club. Purely because I'm insecure, and it would make me feel like sh**. In saying that, of he wants to go with his mates, I'm not going to say he can't, I'm not the boss of him.

    I don't agree with people bashing strippers, but I also hate it when girls who dance and people who see nothing wrong with it are all "Oh, I'm better than you because you're dumb and you live in a bubble and you don't think people are sexual! I'm better than you because I'm out there and I think stripping is ok! Did I mention that I'm better than you because I make easy money? Haha!! Oh, and also, I'm better than you because I think stripping is awesome and that makes me "different"!!"


    Now, I'm not saying I disapprove of stripping. It's just a job, like any other job, where you have to pretend to like people, like any other job. It's great money, and if I had the body for it, I'd do it too, so all the more power to you dancers :)

    But both sides of the argument get on their high horse sometimes and it's just annoying.

    Uh if thats how you took my comment you clearly feel a certain way about women who dance so it pissed you off. I never said I was better then anyone, or that anyone is dumb and lives in a bubble etc... I just don't want to hear **** for my job or be insulted because I chose a less then typical job. So yeah your comment sucks. I can be happy about my job & discuss the pros & cons on a forum without needing comments like yours. Thanks though!

    No, I don't mind as long as it's an occasional thing and he's with his friends. If he started going alone all of a sudden then we'd have a problem.

    This was at a "classy" club too. If you have money, those girls do the do.

    This is directed at the first comment, I work at a 'classy' strip club & I don't do ANY extras & I make plenty of money, so maybe you shouldn't make judgements about total strangers.. Most of the time the only women that ***** about strippers are ones with no self esteem or they are jealous..

    I'm sure some strippers don't do that. Everyone has a different opinion on what is "classy" or not. Do whatever makes you happy. I wouldn't say most women are jealous of strippers or have no self esteem.

    I wouldn't mind because I'm a dancer for one & that would be hypocritical. I'm married to a man who has never been to a strip club & has no interest, but why would he? He's married to a stripper lol.. Plus you all need to STOP acting like all strippers are strippers because of drug problems/ daddy issues/ depression/ etc... SOME OF US do it because its AMAZING money & its easy & it lets me work 2-3 days a week & make what most have to work 2 weeks of more for in one or two nights. I also work at a hospital before you assume I'm a "dumb" stripper with no goals. Most women bash stripping because of jealous issues & lack of self esteem. Its pointless to feel that way. If your mans comes to a strip club to cheat, it won't happen unless he goes to some disgusting club & searches out the sluts. But my point being, if a man wants to cheat, you need to worry more while he's at work or a normal bar because no stripper is throwing themselves at him for his charm & good looks its all about the money. Duh. I lead guys on all the time at work but they cant touch me, cant see me outside of work hell they don't even know my real name, yet they spend tons of money on me? That is a life skill if you ask me... lol Sorry for the rant, just SICK of hearing **** from others (overweight women mostly!) on mfp if my job is brought up.. ugh

    Haha lol good luck, I got bashed sooo badly on my own thread under chitchat because I had a shaving related question & brought up the fact that I shave so often bc I am a dancer at I was insulted by a overweight women whos display picture was her giant boobs hanging out (yet she's so holy holy she can call me a slut? lol) calling me a slut/ugly/stupid etc all bc I said I danced. So yeah I think most dancers are to scared to even mention their jobs on here... even though its a 18+ website, oh well, I am super NOT ashamed of mine, its fun, great money & great exercise c:
    Lol, women will "booty shake" and try to dance sexy in Zumba, but when an exotic dancer does it, it's considered "slutty". Glad you have your own self confidence and if men want to pay to see you dance, then more power to you! People judge based on their own morals and don't care if others morals are different. You make a living legally through your work, but some have to bash it because it makes them insecure with themselves.

    Hmmm. I know an ex-stripper who is definitely slutty. She's awful. But then I suppose you get awful people in all walks of life.

    To answer the question, I have no issue with women who take their clothes off, but I would be furious with my husband for going to a strip club. It's just unfaithful in my book. I wouldn't be happy if he kept porn in the house either. It's nothing to do with my self esteem or insecurity. I just find it icky. I don't go around ogling naked men either. I also have a moral issue with the way girls are treated in some of those places. I know for a fact it's not always voluntary, or innocent, many girls are imported from Eastern Europe under false pretences, and are often given drugs (I have worked with several charities trying to help such girls). I know not everywhere is like that, but I don't want my husband supporting an industry where that takes place. Fortunately he agrees with me.

    Just a quick questions for all the women who are against strip clubs..................how many of you have actually taken the initiative to do a lap dance for your SO's? I mean for real? And has your SO ever asked you to do a "dirty dance" and you blew it off as "whatever, I don't do that or dance that way". If you did that, it may answer why some men would rather go to a strip club. I hear all the time from females "why go if you can get it at home", but have many male friends who tell me that their SO's won't even consider doing it for them.
    So when's the last time you did a sexy strip dance for your SO?

    Guys think about other women sexually ALL THE TIME. I'm sure some even think about that hot girl from the office while banging their wife. Is that cheating? Those of you who say watching a stripper and porn is cheating must think that your man merely THINKING of another woman sexually means he is cheating?

    I know men are visual and think about sex numerous times a day. I do not live under a rock. I do not think that looking at or thinking about another woman is cheating...

    I so agree with you. Man will be always looking at women, but they don't have to lust after them if the wife or GF is doing her job, making sure that he does not have to think of other women. Isn't it why we are here,on mfp, to lose weight,get in shape,to get our confidence back and be sexy for our husbands? We are their women,we are the mothers of their children and we DO deserve some respect . To me it would be very disrespectful if my husband would have to go somewhere first to get his appetite.

    I think that's awesome that you know what other people are thinking or how they feel. I never have to put on an act for my husband. I willingly go to strip clubs with him because it's fun and an incredible turn on for me. It's not something we do all the time but when we do? Damn but it's a hot ride home for sure!
