Just had to share because it is cracking me up....

Sorry, Andrew - you may want to shut your eyes because of TMI..

Taking Lynnie's advice, I have put the 38D's in a push-up bra. Now they are all pushed up, but feel like they are going to spill over. More sandbags please - just can't hold back this flood...

Oh and Janie I bet Andrew is like most guys, likes listening to girls talk about their BEWBS!!

Huh huh huh....she said BEWBS...huh huh huh...

Hi everyone! Looks like some great exercise for everyone. I burned 500 at the gym today doing legs and cardio.

I feel so good knowing I have to kick my own *kitten* to get a few calories burned. My friend pointed out I was sweating at 2.5 on the treadmill and could do 0 on the ellip at 39 reps per minute and could not breath.

Now I did a 12 min mile on the ellip on 5 and finally broke a sweat!

She reminded me I didnt start this for weight loss......but for health purposes and I have exceeded my goal by leaps and bounds!! Literally!!

I am so proud to be a part of this team. You all keep me going and I love you all in a special way!!

    :flowerforyou: Jeannie

Jeannie- That is so awesome! It is in fact amazing how far you have come. Those are the results that are most important. Those are results that go far beyond a number on the scale. I remember about a month back when I went to the gym and thought to myself how I was kinda tired and didnt want to run so I figured I would just hop on the treadmill and walk at a brisk 4.5 mph. Well after 15 mins I still couldnt get into even the bottom of my target heart rate. lol I can remember how just walking into the gym would get me to my target when I first started. lol Sucks having to work your *kitten* off to burn calories. lol.
It's the things beyond the scale that make us most happy. Like running farther than you have run before. Or being able to add a few pounds to that weight....or being able to do 10 more crunches than you did last week....or in the case of today, seeing that mischevious look in you wife's eyes when you tried on your new tight little bike shorts. lol Enjoy your success you deserve it!

Beth - Congrats on the jeans.

Andrew - I think it's funny that you called your son a punk.

Sam - Woo hoo on the scale being nice to you!

Harley threw up today. Dave went to get her after her nap and he said she was just covered. (Luckily I was working out so he got to clean up her and her crib. Woo hoo!) He brought her downstairs and put her in her pack-n-play. I looked over and she had a funny look on her face and threw up again. We had to go to the bank and store(s) for last mintue 4th of July stuff. I felt like I'd be a bad mom if I took her out so Dave stayed home with her and I braved the crazies at Wal*Mart, Giant Eagle, and Costco by myself. Now Harley is fine and we have to run to the store for a couple more things. At least Dave will be there as my barrier. (People at Wal*Mart are seriously nuts!)

We're having people over tomorrow for food and fireworks. I'm gonna try my best to eat healthy. We got lots of corn on the cob and turkey burgers so I should be okay. Dave bought a ridiculous amount of fireworks the other day. Luckily our cops are okay with them. We'll see how Harley does with them.

Dave just got home with our pizza. (Multigrain crust from Pizza Hut. Yum!) Laters! :flowerforyou:

Awesome stroller Samantha!!!!!! The kids are adorable. Funny thing is I just imagined my boys in that thing with me running. My oldest Aiden would be yacking away and the three year old would be yelling at me for not going fast enough. lol Have fun!

Janie you go girl! You are getting hotter every day. One quick question, did you buy a Demi-cup? It is a different type cup and exposes the top of your bewbs more, which may be causing the cup runneth over symptoms. Oh yah I love me some demi cups.

Andrew- I hear you on the walking and being able to hit your target heart rate. I can't anymore no matter how fast I walk. That's why we run! LOL

Sam- enjoy that stroller, brings back memories, I had one when my two were little...although I NEVER used it to jog! Oh how times have changed. Now I just leave their tired lazy butts in bed and go to the gym while they sleep the day away. Better yet.

Lynnie- you and the bewbs! Don't they fall out of the demi cups? Like when you move or bend forward? Not like I've ever had that problem or anything.....:grumble:

Janie- good luck with the bras. These days my goal is to keep it all contained and in a tight package, otherwise the bewbs aren't so good. Ugh.

We are off to my DH's mom's house for the day. Guess it's time to get in the shower and start getting ready. Not in a huge hurry, just means I have to get back in the CAR for another 5 hours total trip time today.

Happy 4th of July everyone! I am hoping you all have a happy and safe one!
I'm still wore out from being out in the sun yesterday! I'm red and just feel run down. The sun does that to ya. Might go out to the lake again today. The kids enjoy it as much as I do. So take care and have fun!

Sam-I love the new stroller! Have fun running!

    Morning my friends--

Hubs and I bagged the Firecracker 4-Miler--

At $22 per runner, that's an extravagance for us right now when the mortgage money is in doubt--

So, we had a lovely 1.5 mile family walk instead-- for free.

Beautiful day here in New Jersey-- global warming my bottom.

Wishing all a glorious day with your loved ones

God bless us all this day, my friends--

Ah yes, I had a blast. though I will say that it was educational. lol I learned two things.
#1: Dont ride your bike 15 miles the night before a five mile road race.
#2: Bath Maine is as hilly as the swiss alps. lol

My left hammy was achy before the race started and at around mile 3 is started nagging at me so I did have to slow to a walk a few times. But I pushed through it for the most part just didnt want to do any real damage. Finished the five miles in just over 43:00 so all in all it went well. Resting that left hammy now while I type away =)

    :flowerforyou:

    BTW: HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE!!!!!!!!
