I'm here!!! No change for me except that I was having some serious computer issues for a few days. :grumble:

Good Morning and Happy Mothers Day! :happy: (although i think it may be just in the UK)
Well last week was great, but really bad for my diet! I managed to put 7lbs on after celebrating my birthday and then going to Torquay for the weekend for a conference and dinner dance. I had no control over my food and lost control over my alcohol consumption! Oops :noway:
Well i know that not all of it was fat gain as the food was probably full of salt, so i wasn't too bothered by it.
On Tuesday i had to take the train to Bristol to be with my daughter at a hospital appointment, she found a lump in her breast. Thank fully it was a false alarm, she's ok :happy:
Whist there we ate out twice, more salt!
Well during this week i have managed to lose 5lbs of the 7lbs that i had gained. I am so happy with that, so.......

That's a gain of 2lbs, i can cope with that.

Jax: Happy Mothers Day in the UK, In the US we celebrate this day in May. Glad your daughter is doing well. That must have given all of you a scare. Well, I've been feeling it ever since. I can't remember the last time I was this sore :noway: I seriously got my butt kicked :laugh: That's exactly what I need though. I'm not complaining.

I know its late,,, but I almost forgot to post today
Jax Happy Mother's day over across the way.....and hang in there,,,,, When I go on a trip I always seem to bring back a couple of pounds with me....:laugh: and then it takes me a week to get back to where I was before the or more,,,, Im finally back to where I was before the Christmas holiday.......
Welcome Rmpacker to our little group..... we are here for you I've found help from friends on here can make all the difference..... without many of them I would of given up long ago.....
as for me,,,,, I had a great week and worked hard...... Yesterday was a wonderful sunny day (felt almost like spring) So I found a trail and walked for 3 hrs... I figured I went at leats 7 miles... and ooooohhhhh did My legs feel it.... seem I'm not in as good of shape as i though:laugh:

You are very welcome to join us, we weigh in on a Sunday or if you look in the Motivation and Support section there are lots of other threads where groups of members weigh in together, just go and introduce yourself :happy:
Or, you could always start your own thread inviting others to join you, there are always newbies around looking for support the same as you.
Whatever you decide to do, good luck in your journey, take some time to read the stickies for new members they answer an awful lot of questions and give some really good tips, also don't be afraid to add anybody as a friend, we are all here for each other.

Down 1/2 pound today. Doesn't sound like much BUT I broke through a "0." For some reason Mr. Scale is slow to cooperate with me. He is coming along though.....reluctantly! How did everyone else do?0

1 lb down this week for me! That make 13.5 total! :blushing: I think my ticker rounds up...but it is ok with me! I think increasing my exercise was the key this week. I also did the Skinny Saturday Challenge yesterday. That keeps me focused for the weekend.
Jax, oh well...1 measley pound....could have been alot worse girl. You will have that off in a day or two....Have a good week!0 -

I ladies,,, missed ya last week... just got back from visiting family and alot of coming and goings,,,
and after eating out almost everyday I just knew I'ed gained a couple at least this week....I've never traveled without gaining something. Every time I sat down at a fast food rest. or stake dinner, or the bag of M&Ms that I snacked on as I drove home 8 hrs yesterday I'd tell my self I'm going to regret this.. but to my surprise this morning I was right where I was before I llft last week.... I was so shocked,, I had to weigh myself a couple of times to make sure....I didn't gain anything... as I hoped I wouldn't...
although me and my daughters went hiking all day Thursday,,, and my calf muscles are still sore from it... but we had a great vacation and I'm not so excited about going back to the grindstone tomorrow.

Jax hang in there... It'll come, last week you lost 2 that was great... I gone months sometimes just going up and down between one or 2 lbs.... just keep at it and it'll come off.... maybe try doing something new...now that weather is getting great its time to get those bikes tuned up again

2lbs off this week and i have hit one of my targets - i am now in the 14 stone range, only just but i'm in there!! lol
Girls i am so proud of all of you, all working so hard and the results are showing, and Connie, going away for a week and not gaining! that's brilliant :happy:

Skywalker don't feel to bad no loss for me eather this week.
I'm starting a new exercise program with strenght training mixed in..... I really haven't done to much of that before.... I'm hoping it'll jump start me again and get me over this platue. so hopefully I'll see a lost by next week :flowerforyou:

Congrats Sky on your loss! :happy: You have worked so hard you deserve to see that scale move! I can't wait to help you celebrate breaking through that "0." I am hoping for a loss next week. I have been exercising more but didn't see a change this week. :indifferent: Drat! Oh well, I know it will come off if I keep being consistant. I did the Shred for the first time yesterday and am a bit sore today. But it is a good sore! At least I know it is working! I will just walk tonight.
Jax, you are cycling away the fat and building muscle. Remember, muscle weighs more so sometimes we feel slighted by Mr. Scale - that scoundral! Ignore him and keep on rolling! Good job!:happy:

I was wondering about that. I think I will still throw in extra cardio on days when I am shredding. The workout is brief...but pretty good! Tnx!0
