    See...

    Hello,

I just wanted to take a quick moment to let you know we edited your post because it was in violation of the MyFitnessPal guidelines. The guideline in questions reads:

    QUOTE:
    6. No Intentionally Hurtful Topics

Topics which are started with the intent to belittle others, either directly named or through enough descriptive commentary to be possibly identified, are prohibited. This includes stalking a poster through the forums, posting about past events gone sour, divulging personal information, or spreading gossip or rumors. At our discretion, any post referring to the behavior or posts of other users of the site will be removed.

    The post in question states:

    QUOTE:
Maybe it's me, but I couldn't care less about how many pounds I lose.

I also don't give a flying rat turd about how I look in a mirror.

Please know, I'm not saying anything bad about those who are shedding weight and/or trying to look better. It's great and I support you. However, I'm more focused on getting lean, and fighting better.

I started a string a few days ago that discussed the reasons most people are here... i.e. training for a sport, etc. 95% of the responses revolved around "running." There were a handful of other sports, and a few the said "life."

    Is this a "guy thing?"

REMOVED - On a related note... Men who pose shirtless in front of their bathroom mirror, and use their cell phone to take a picture like a 13 year old girl... bother me. ;) REMOVED -

We work very hard to edit posts before deleting them and in this case your post was editable. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you in advanced for your cooperation.

    Cheers,

Apparently, calling grown men "13 year old little girls" is devastatingly hurtful.

Irony can be so ironic sometimes.

FYI you're also not allowed to complain about moderators. I'm not being sarcastic, it's actually one of the forum rules. You should delete your last post.

Pounds lost is a measure of progress. Yes, I look at it and it is part of my focus. How I look in the mirror? Of course we all want to look and feel better. You are right about this though... the ultimate goal is FITNESS. Getting lean. As for fighting... I am not a fighter but to each his own. Again, I use these things as tools to help quantify progress. The number that means most to me though is body fat percentage.

    1. No Attacks or Insults and No Reciprocation

    a) Do not attack, mock, or otherwise insult others. You can respectfully disagree with the message or topic, but you cannot attack the messenger. This includes attacks against the user’s spelling or command of written English, or belittling a user for posting a duplicate topic.
