It can be anything! Person, car, exercise equipment, a song, ect.
Mine right now and DO NOT laugh, ha ha is Zach Bogosian (NHL defenseman) and Alex Morgan (US Women's Soccer)
I know, I know it's probably not a good motivation and may be even creepy! BUT it keep me motivated!
So, let's hear it!

I think about that sometimes...because currently I aint that chick...LOL0 -
There is a sentance that I can't get to leave my mind. Someone asked me if a 200 pound person can run.
So when I jog, I am "the 207 pound person running" a little self conscious but somewhat proud that I can.
I hope to get out of the 200's soon so that sentance will melt away0 -
HATERS! LOL0

Right now I think the thing that is keeping me the most motivated is the before picture I took of myself four days ago.....YUCK!!! I don't know how in the world my husband stands to look at me and want me. I know for sure now why clothes were invented lol With any luck...that won't be the case soon!0

The fact that when (if) i ever let my fiance impregnate me (LoL, joke) you'll be able to see a baby belly. I just love baby bellies!0

My mother.
It's strange because all she does is try to get me to stop losing weight (she's very large and obviously uncomfortable in her own skin)
So every time she tells me I look fine, I want to hit the gym harder, because I am NOT fine. I am NOT at a healthy BMI, and I am NOT at my goal weight.
"Good enough" is a statement for the laziest of men (or women, in my mother's case).0 -
I don't think it's strange? My best friend keeps me motivated. Her and I have both battled with our weight for a long time. In highschool, thru pregnancy and afterward. She's lost almost 60 pounds and is 5 pounds away from her goal weight. She looks awesome!! It's hard to be comfortable with being over weight when someone you spend so much time with looks so great.0

presuming you mean motivated for fitness, my answer would be to avoid hospitals, doctors, big pharma or worse as number one.
number two would be strength for everyday living. number three would be, having now accomplished a new weight and level of fitness, staying in all the new smaller clothes. And so on. Best wishes to all.0 -
I want to be able to cross my legs again. And without having to use my arm to hoist my leg up. lol I also want to be able to run a mile again. Mind you, I *HATE* running (or at least I did when I was younger) but I want to just be able to do it again. Also, if I were to ever get pregnant I want to actually have a baby belly. Not just a fat belly. lol0

Of course there are the normal things that motivate me for fitness (health, energy, etc).
As for the strange, well.... cosplay. Cosplay keeps me motivated. I've never done it, and I want to, it looks like fun - but I want to rock it, Olivia Munn style!

The strangest thing that keeps me motivated is hearing about what my 32-year-old brother has been going through, medically. He isn't very active and he has had some problems with his diabetes and blood pressure recently.
Even though I am older than him, I don't want to be dealing with what he has been dealing with. He has been told by his doctor that he needs to start working out more and watching what he eats. Even though he lost over 100 lbs, he has put about half of that back on. He does make excuses about not being more active. I think the only physical activity he gets is walking around either the Mall of America or Eden Prairie (MN) mail with my mom and I think that's only once a week--which is something.
I have tried to say something to him about it, but he gets very angry when my mom or I try to say something about it. He knows, I think he just doesn't want to.
So, that is what keeps me motivated. I know it's strange.0
