Hi Chicas,
I've been home sick the last few days and missed out weigh in yesterday so I would like to do it today. Unfortunately, all I have to report is the same weight as last week but that's ok because I had lost 3 the week before. It usually all balances out monthly for me. That said, I have taken my mesurements and they have changed signaficantly. I have last 3in (unfortunately for my man) off my chest with boobs, chest remains the same, but have lost 2in off my waist and one off my hips. Yay me....and Yay to you all!! We're doing great!!!
i have been gone too honey, with little notice, this board is off the wall! evferything will balance out. i hope you are feeling better.
i have my last exam of the summer tommorow, and then have a week off, so it'll be alllll good then0 -

I am married to a chinese man gotta do it once every blue moon!

Oh I am sooo mad!! I somehow managed to order a salad last night so I would not go over yesterday and the salad had 1000 calories!!:explode: :noway:  So, I was over by 580 cals and exercised this morning to stay within limits tonight  (hopefully - had breakfast and lunch with 1000 left today)! Have a great day everyone!!!0 -

So this weekend I went browsing (because I had no money) and was trying on clothes. When I first started, in june, I was in a size 18 really pushing a 20. So I wanted to just try something on that had a number. So I tried on a 15. It fit like a glove. Wow. I stood there and looked in the mirror and just was like "WOW!" for no less than 5 minutes. Turning around looking at the back just to make sure it looked ok. (BTW I really need an *kitten*) Wow. I was amazed. I havent been in this size in almost 6, maybe 7 years. Im also going to post this in the success stories section. I look great!0

Morning ladies!! Well, I did not do well AT ALL this weekend...but I had a GREAT time anyway so it was worth it. My hubby took me to the beach Saturday afternoon, just us two, and we grilled hot dogs and worked on getting skin cancer (even though I stayed under the shade of the umbrella I managed to turn a little red somehow lol) and played in the water. The waves were pretty strong and I got knocked over and skidded along the sand back up to the beach...so I have sandburn on my butt too!!! :grumble:  :blushing: He took me for frozen yogurt before going home and then my girlfriend came over to get drunk and make s'mores with me Surprisingly, I didn't have ANY s'mores, guess that saved me some serious calories anyway! She and I even got the fire going without ANY help from the boys!!! WHOOHOO!!!!:drinker: :smokin:
Got back on track yesterday eating right again and the hubby took me golfing with him. I just sat in the cart mostly enjoying the sea breeze and sun....perfect weather!!! It was sooo relaxing, and it was nice to just spend some good quality time with my man  I went over my cals by about 350 yesterday anyway (stupid yummy meatballs lol) but right after breakfast I'm takin the puppy for a good long walk then walking to the gym for a good sweaty workout :bigsmile:0 -

Hiya Kaitie,
Good job on getting back on track... it's good that you're not too hard on yourself. I've discovered it's all a question of balance, so now the reparation begins. Drink your water and exercise away the weekend frivolities.
Hope you're having a good Monday...:happy:0 -

Yes, you'll definitely need a nice pair of jeans to wear with the sexy red shoes you buy for meeting our challenge.0 -

Thanks Nikky  Saturdays are usually my "free day" and it's been working quite well...it's easier to refuse chips and pizza every day if I know I can have it later in the week! Sundays I get right back to eating right and exercising...yesterday minus the exercise :ohwell: Just got back from walking the puppy, hydrating a little more then off to the gym before it gets too hot to walk there. How have you been girlie? :happy:0 -

I've been feeling kinda punk the last week. I have severe allergies which eventually cause migraines and so I've been fighting one for a week. Got a bit of a reprieve over the weekend but the forest fires in the area have engulfed us with heavy clouds of smoke again. Not good. So I've been monitoring my caloric intake but haven't been exercising too much. Did some tummy exercises last night, gotta get it toned up before Halloween I'm on a mission, and did a few laps in the pool. Felt so much better after. I'm learning, exercise actually makes you feel good.... weird... lol. Anyway, I've hit another plateau it seems so my weight is not changed but am down a few more inches and another dress size, so I'M REALLY happy about that. I'm not comfortable in a 9, 10s are getting to be a bit loose. LIFE is GRAND!! AND this site rocks!!! And you gals are AMAZING!!! :happy:0 -
Hey ya'll. Sorry I haven't been around much. I had a friend in town and things were crazy. I literally shopped for 15 hours in less than 3 days (4hrs on Thurs, 10 hrs Fri, and 1hr Sat). Friday was probably the most frustrating shopping day of my life. NOTHING fit. Appearantly, clothes aren't made for hourglass woman with 40in hips/breast and 29 in waists. In the 10hrs, I found 1 dress and two shirts.:grumble: All of which, I found in the last 1.5hr. Sorry for my little rant.
Oh but I do have a funny/embaressing story. The dress I bought on Friday is the really cute green on I'm wearing in my profile pic and I bought it to wear to my friend's wedding on Saturday, Well, we show up to the wedding (thankfully) late and slip in the back. When we sit down, my friend and I realize we had forgotten a very important detail. The wedding colors were electric blue and green, the exact green as my dress. I looked like a wannabe bridesmade.:embarassed: Luckily, there was a weird 2hr wait between the wedding and the reception, which was near a mall that had the same stopre I bought the dress at, so I was able to find a pair of really nice jeans and a nice shirt to change into before the reception.0 -

I have the same problem. If it fits my waist, it doesn't fit my boobs or hips. :grumble: That green dress is really cut tho! (and you look like a skinny-minnie in it )0 -

I am seriously considering taking some sewing classes in the spring. :ohwell:
Thank you!:blushing:0 -
Sewing and me just don't work!!!!
Hey Girls!! Been really busy at work so I haven't been able to play too much recently.
Saturday I did a kick my butt workout - 1 hr strength - 1 hr on treadmill and then another 4.96 miles of a walk/jog....rested yesterday - gonna kick my butt again tonight! Gotta go eat so I am not too low on calories....0 -
I sew and it helps but it's not the cure all it might seem to be. Patterns are sized mainstream and need to be altered quite a bit to obtain that perfect fit.0

That's why I wanna take a pattern altering class right after the sewing class. :laugh:0 -

Now THAT's a plan, if ever I've heard one. Pattern altering is pretty tricky but so much fun....
I think you should do it...0 -
