    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I got my walk in and with my hubby to boot !

    What is today's personal goals? Water, tracking, exercise and keep moving

    Got on the scale this morning and have lost 2.4 lbs. I know most of that is water but I will take it !!

    Summer is so tough for me. Can't wait until the kiddo goes back to school so I can get back into my lunch workout routine!! :laugh:

    Goldk - I know exactly what you mean ... I have been in the same boat all summer - just out of routine and letting 'life' get in the way of my weightloss. I've been doing pretty well for a week and a half now. I think you just have to force yourself to string a few good days together by keeping your weightloss goals a top priority, and then after the first few days it gets easier (as long as you don't let it slide for too long). We can do it!

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? stayed under calories
    What would I have done differently? didn't need the hotdogs with buns for supper, or the doritos
    What is today's personal goals? follow my nutritional guidelines, already did an hour of step this morning

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Did 6 loads of laundry the ironing and unpacked from vacation and stopped after one carb cheat
    What would I have done differently? Not given in to the Triscuits
    What is today's personal goals? get to the exercise, and stay in the plan.

    Tuesday: Traveled
    Wednesday: lots of walking (in the house)

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Registered for the 13 mile Jimmy Fund Walk in Boston (not only is it a great cause, maybe it will get my butt back into a routine. Also, went to the hospital to visit my ex-husband's new baby boy.Our daughter is a very proud big sister!

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? no - non exercise days are hard for me to stay under calories
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? went for a walk to at least get some exercise in after getting stuck in traffic and missing step class
    What would I have done differently? eaten just half of my wrap for lunch and left work earlier to make sure I could get to step

    Just wanted to update:
    I have continued to do well with calories since I last posted. Also, on Sunday, I did a 15 minute walk & Zumba. Monday I walked for 30 minutes. Wednesday, I did 15 minutes of back exercises including crunches & also did push-ups.

    Monday evening, my husband and I drove to Corpus Christi, TX where my son was in the emergency room. He had Appendicitis and surgery while we were driving there. My son and I drove back yesterday. He is doing well, now.

    Monday morning I weighed in and had lost a pound! So far maintaining that 1 pound lost. Amazing considering how I usually gain under stress or traveling and I had both going on.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Cleaned the house and did some yardwork. It was a fantastic weekend! Concert Friday night and Saturday out on a catamaran. The pictures sort of shocked me... wow those 22lbs that I gained back do not look good on me. I am so looking forward to getting back in my exercise routine when school goes back.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Big day for us. Dropped off youngest son at college 10 hours away. On our way home met our youngest daughter on way there. ALMOST empty nest. We still have a nephew for a little more than a week in the house.
    What would I have done differently? skipped the queso and chips with dinner
    What is today's personal goals? Run/walk and stay on track nutritionally (I am planning to enter my first 5K at parent's weekend!!)
