I am very happy with the September results. I wanted 2 lbs a week and I lost 7 lbs:bigsmile: Given that I've had a few "Episodes" that threw me off, and I havent been able to exercise since 9/20, I'm pleased:happy: Everybody did great if they "tried"!!!! It's not only the scale that counts, it's our will to keep going! If you're bloging....you're trying:laugh:  So here's to another month of good efforts!

Well I didn't get my swimming in. I think I need to sign up for 2x as much swimming as I think I want to do and then I'll get in as much as I want.

I can't believe Sept. is over already in one way but in another I'm already thinking like it's Nov.

    Good afternoon ladies,
Great work for those of you that lost or stayed the same. Keep on going. I just finished lunch. I made myself a big salad with greens, dried cranberry, low fat cheese, lean turkey and low fat croutons. I finished off with some cantaloupe. I also had my apple cider vinegar. YUK!!!
I also started mowing the lawn this morning. I ran over the cover to the water meter and it slipped in and broke a pvc pipe on a faucet. Water was coming up like a fountain. Right about that time a neighbor drove up and he turned the water off for me. I could not find the valve. I will let it drain and then cap off the valve and turn water back on. Never a dull moment. Will cut back yard later and try not to break anything. I watched Biggest Loser this morning. I had DVR'd it last night. So motivating. It was so special that the guys asked to be sent home so the big girl could stay. I dont have their names learned yet. Wouldn't you like just ONE biggest loser week. That would be awesome.
    Have a good afternoon ladies.

  • well, did not reach my goals for September - so grateful I have October to do it again!!

    This month goals:
    6-7 pounds gone
3-4 times a week for exercise

and as always - keep drinking that water!! :drinker:
  • Hi,
Didn't weight today I am just going to keep plugging away until after my dad's surgery. I do hope I start to lose weight soon it is discouraging to stay the same. I think I will try the vinegar thing later in October after I return home. May not be able to log in next week but will be back when I return after the surgery.
Great job to all who lost and all who meet their exercise goals.

Missed my goals....in fact, I went in the opposite direction and gaines two pounds instead of losing two!:grumble:

October: Lose two pounds, again, and aim for a new two pounds lost also.

    My goals for September were
:flowerforyou: to ride my bike 25 miles a week,
:flowerforyou: exercise using WATP and use my hand weights to firm up my arms, at least 4 days a week,
:flowerforyou: keep drinking at least 4 16oz bottles of water a day
:flowerforyou: lose at least 4 pounds.
Because of that nasty snake in my shed I didn't make 25 a week,
 rode my bike 32 miles
 only used weights 2 days a week, arms are slowly firming up
    lost 4 lbs
 drank at least 4 16oz bottle of water, most days 5
 reached my August goal to get into a 14, with room to spare
:drinker: I will post new goals on the October thread.
 Lynn, have a safe trip and return to us soon. As alway prayers and hugs for your family.
 Welcome to newbies and welcome back to our missing sisters.
 A new month already. We are in this together for the long haul, Rosemary

I stayed motivated! I drank my water! I stayed within my calories! I was sloppy with my workouts! Twenty one workouts for the month, averaging about 500 cals. over all.
I am the same weight I was on September 1.

Hang in there - I've had many months this year when the scales stood still... but when I get frustrated and stop, I get less healthy. It's challenging for me when wt loss isn't linear. Good for you for all you did right this month!

    Good evening ladies,
I had another great day. Ate my calories and they were good calories. Got some exercise mowing the lawn. Drank that awful apple cider vinegar. (That stuff better work miracles) LOL. I am back on track and it feels so good. My back is better. Just a few twinges. Still no word from doctor about blood work. Hope he calls soon. Hubby is in Texas again, but this time I am planning ahead and eating right. Tomorrow is my oldest son's 35th birthday. It seems like yesterday that he was born. I hope you all dont get tired of hearing from me, but this really helps me stay focused. I look forward to a great October. See you all tomorrow.

    Hi all,

For September I lost 2 pounds and my goal was 4:angry::angry: . I drank all my water each day and tracked my food most of the time. My weight lifting 2 times a week was inconsistant at best.

My exercise program has again been interupted by my other knee giving out. I will get a MRI soon and I suspect I will need to have the same thing done to my left knee that I had successfully done to my right knee last July. That is just fine with me as my right knee feels great. So for now I walk when I can, ride the stationary bike and look into swiming as possible exercise I can do within reason to help my weightloss journey. Do I want it to be different. Yep but I am so grateful that I have a solution to this problem and I have   healthcare that will provide for me. I can't imagine this constant discomfort with little or no options.

   And I have this group to share with and learn from.

    Good morning ladies,
It is a cool 63 degrees here in Louisiana on this first day of October. It feels wonderful. I have a hair appt today so I dressed nicely this morning. I put on a pair of cordoroy pants size 12 from Old Navy. I am going to do good again today Already had a good breakfast. Usually work out after bringing girls to pre school but since I have hair appt. I will go later in the day. Lianne, you did so well with so many obstacles. I dont know if I would have been that diligent if I could not work out. You keep going girl. I hope you get your other knee fixed soon. To everyone else lets start this month with a new determination. Have a great day.

Sorry ladies that I was late on starting the October thread. It's on now.

Because of my back and not being able to do much of anything except living I did not meet my goals for September. I'm back to square one :grumble: It's been two weeks and maybe I'm okay now to do more but I'm afraid I'll re-injure it.

    Have a great day ladies.
