I drink on occasion. I don't drink every day, but I enjoy drink with friends, after long week or during a long flight. I've limited my alcohol intake during my diet, but I still do and I still enjoy it occasionally. I don't drink beer because of carbs, but I enjoy good scotch or whiskey and some good aged Cabernet

I used to drink 5 or 6 nights a week, back when I weighed 325 pounds. When I found out about my ex-wife's affair, and the breakup of our marriage, I decided being drunk and angry would be a bad combination. That was over 4 years and 110 pounds ago! At first, the quitting drinking was for her, a look at my changes kind of thing. Now it is totally for me. One beer in the last 4 years, and don't really miss it.

I don't but that is a personal issue. My mother was a heavy drinker..I didn't want the "maybe" of becoming one too. I don't care what other people do as long as it does not hurt anyone else. Responsibility is the key...

I've been tee-total for the last 6 months. I did like a drink, and will go back to enjoying a drink eventually I'd imagine, but for this year at least I'm completely booze free.

I don't drink much. One...I'm an easy drunk...it doesn't take much. Two...I usually say **** I either don't mean or should've never repeated out loud...Three...it's expensive. When I drink, which is a few times a year, I go all out and it leaves me broke for a few weeks.

So yeah, I try to stick with water cuz that's what I can afford.

My boyfriend has been sober over 3 years. I don't drink nearly as much... this month I've cut it out entirely and lately have been considering sobriety as well. My father is an alcoholic, and I tend toward addiction as is.

I don't drink often, and when I do it's rarely more than a glass or two of wine. I've just never seen the point of it. I don't like losing control and I don't think one needs to drink to have a good time. If they do, they have a problem, in my humble opinion.

I don't drink at all. I was never a big drinker (too many alcoholics in my family that I've witnessed some pretty stupid behavior from in my life), so when I gave it up completely.. it was no big loss. I haven't had any in 2.5 years and I don't miss it at all. I actually find drunk people horribly obnoxious now.

I have a glass of wine once or twice a year. Wine is pretty much safe in our house!

I don't get the interest in rotten fruit and fermented hops. Tastes gross to me. I don't drink for the same reason i don't eat brussle sprouts. I think it tastes gross.

Thankfully I have no desire for alcohol. Never have. Now if I could only lose my desire for sugary things I would have it made. :-)

We all have our vices I guess. :-P

I barely drink anymore. It's to the point where I end up scheduling when I'll be able to have a glass of wine.

I've been on so many meds lately that suggest not drinking, I figure it's probably best to not drink all together until my body gets itself together (I'd rather not have my stomach start bleeding...).

I couldn't do it. I need my booze to completely unwind. I'd be miserable if I wasn't allowed to drink ever again. >.<
