    Morning Ladies,

My workout this morning was Jillian's Killer Buns & Thighs Level 1. I'm actually enjoying these workout, and just might do another week of them.

Thelma, Glad to hear that you where listening to your body and gave it a rest day. Sounds like some nice weather head for you. We will be in our normal range. I'm sure that they didn't have anything available. I do have one source for many of the things that are now out of stock in most places. My vendor is stashing things for his high volume customers. ;)

    Have a wonderful weekend,
    Laurie

Hi Ladies! Just a quick check in before DH and I head out to buy some materials for working in our attic. Doesn’t that sound fun? :) Actually, I will be glad to get it done. It is a very good thing we canceled our trip to Florida since the golf tournament we were going to attend got canceled, so I don’t mind using the time he is here to continue some projects on the house.

For workouts, yesterday was LITE Stacked Sets Lower Body followed by a workout I haven’t done in years....Cathe’s Low Impact Circuit, cardio only premix plus core. Really enjoyed it. Today was LITE Stacked Sets Upper Body followed by a 30 minute Peloton ride.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you listened to your body and skipped the Cathe workout and, instead, got some rest. I am thinking about your aunt, for certain. I just watched a video from Siena of people singing out their windows. Such a sense of community in such tough times. I spent most of yesterday stocking up in case we go through something similar. I just want to really be able to limit the amount of time we have to go out, not just to protect us but everybody around us. So the freezer is full! Some shelves of TP were empty, but not all. I still want to pick up a few things but, all in all, we are as prepared as we can be right now for whatever may end up happening. I hope.

Laurie, great workouts. Glad to hear you have another vendor for the Clorox wipes! I have a feeling this weekend is going to be absolutely crazy with people out shopping and preparing. Always good to have friends in good places for hard to find things! Today on my upper body workout, I lifted my normal, pre-injury weights. With the STS workouts, I am still going a little lighter, but definitely still pushing somewhat heavy weight for me (55-60lbs for chest press and barbell rows). So I am happy with where I am right now for sure.

Tami and Erika, hope you are both well.

    Enjoy the weekend.

    Hello Ladies!

Wowsa, what a week! Working in insurance has sure caused a surge in calls over the COVID-19 virus. I'm ready to go into quarantine with work already!

We got to play our first hockey game in the state tourney and then they called off the rest of the tournament, and everything else under the sun. Our church is closed, all sports for our district are cancelled, and pretty much any public event too. This extrovert is really struggling with staying away from crowds/people!

I've been sticking with the workouts, and am stocked up on all my supplies (and alcohol) so now we sit and wait!

Thelma, sounds like a scary even with your heart. I know all too well how that feels, as my son went through that a few weeks ago. Like you, I'm sure it wasn't heart at all, but something else that triggered that feeling. I'm hoping your appointment later this month affirms your GERD thought. Great job getting in the workouts, and the nap too. I wish I was a napper...it would give me something to do while we wait this crud out!

Laurel, bummer on the cancelled trip but probably for the best. Plus, you get to complete some home projects, which is always nice. We may tackle some of that next week if our workplaces get shut down. We're anticipating school getting closed as we are pretty sure the teenager that tested positive today is in our school district. Ahhh LiTE...so much fun!

Laurie, I heard all WI schools are closed across the state. I'm sure that will help with just keeping the exposure down. Kids don't seem to understand the importance of washing hands, and how to do so properly! Love that you are enjoying the Jillian workouts!

    Hi Tami!

Stay safe and healthy out there!

Hi ladies, I hope you have a good weekend. We had a quiet weekend as we started our quarantine. Our weather has been rainy but what else is new here? LOL

On Friday I did Restorative Yoga and Ramped Up Upper Body. On Sunday I did Meso2 Disc 19 - Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps.

People went crazy buying food on Friday. The supermarket shelves were empty. Of course, toilet paper, bread and Lysol shelves were empty. There were a few meat choices. DH and I hit our local Walmart on Friday night and he went to our regular supermarket Saturday and went back for a few things today. We heard that two guys got into a feast fight over TP! Now they are limiting the amount of TP one can buy. 2 - 4 roll packs per person!

It looks like we don't have any virus cases in Blue Ridge but I just read tonight that two people may have the virus 45 minutes south of here. People from Atlanta, NC, and other places are coming here to vacation as a result of school and work closings! I'm afraid people are not taking this seriously.
You have no idea how thankful I am that DH was able to quit his PA job right before the virus started spreading. I would've gone crazy worrying about him.

My yoga studio is closed for now. We are expected to be able to do our classes online starting tomorrow. Since I have an unlimited membership I'll have the opportunity to try yoga classes I haven't tried because they're in the late afternoon. I'm excited about this.

Laurie, great job with the Killer Buns & Thighs workouts. You're enjoying Jillian's workouts so I think it makes sense to do another Jillian week.

My body really needed a break last Thursday! We had rainy weather. All weekend but Saturday was less rainy and it was a warm day.
No vendor can keep up with the demands right now Laurie. Even Amazon ran out of everything people need these days.

Laurel, like I always say, everything happens for a reason. God had other plans for you! What are you guys doing in the attic? It really sounds like a fun project. NOT! LOL

    Great workouts!

I really appreciate you keeping my aunt in your thoughts. OMG, I watched that video. It made me cry but what a wonderful thing to do! I'm so glad you decided to stock up just in case Laurel! This is going to take a long time to get under control. We're just starting to enter 'the curb' phase.
We are prepared but of course, I just thought of a few more things! I might go out early tomorrow morning.
We went out to dinner with our friends one last time on Friday night. we're going to miss our Friday night with them, but we have to do what we have to do.

Erika, you poor thing! I can't even imagine how crazy your job is now!
Sorry, all the events got called off! I am definitely not a crowd type of person. I am going to miss going to my yoga classes but I need to protect myself since I'm considered high risk.

I'm so glad you've been sticking with your workouts and that you are stocked up with the important necessities! LOL

The heart pain was scary and I'm very thankful it wasn't my heart! I still haven't been able to get an appointment with a cardiologist. I will keep trying but I don't want an appointment till this virus thing is over. I also want to see the GI specialist but will wait on that too.
I don't usually nap but sometimes my body speaks loud and clear that it needs a nap! LOL

Will you be allowed to work from home while during this virus period? How long are your boys' schools closed for?
DH can work from home so no downtime for him.

Have a great week ladies and please stay safe. Wash your hands constantly and don't touch your face!

    Morning Ladies,

I had a whole lot to say this morning, but then my computer decided to do an update right at the end of my typing. I have to get some work done, so this will be short. No workouts all weekend, but this morning I had a change of mind and started up with the rotation that I had planned. I think I needed the Jillian just to get my motivation back. So my workout was 30MTF Build & Burn Cardio Core.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Hope you are well. Our weekend was busy but not too bad. In addition to getting materials to finish our attic, we ended up buying 78 bags of mulch :o on Saturday and getting that into the garden areas. Tough stuff, but it felt good to be working outside in the sunshine after two days (Thursday and Friday) preparing for isolation. Yesterday I spent about four hours giving the house a good clean. So today I feel a little tired. I am hoping this is the last week DH will be going into his office every day for some time. I know his company is trying to figure out who can work from home effectively right now. Despite having few confirmed cases in Alabama (but they didn’t start testing until 10 days ago), the governor has been pretty proactive on shutting things down. Right now, I would say the next step will be to close the restaurants and such, which will probably be coming sooner than later. What a surreal situation this is.

For workouts, on Saturday I did Jessica Smith’s Cardio HiiT from Walk Strong 3, and 30 minutes of yoga with Kristin McGee. Yesterday was STS Disc 23/Legs and a 30 minute spin from Peloton. Today was STS Disc 22/Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, STS No Equipment Abs and Step Boss IMAX4. Good stuff!

Erika, I can’t begin to imagine how busy you are with work right now! I am sorry they had to cancel the state tournament but it is probably for the best. Glad you are prepared for whatever comes next. I would imagine this will drive you crazy being an extrovert! As an introvert germaphobe, I am kind of custom made for in-home isolation. B) I just need to get my DH to stop going in to work so my protective germ shield doesn’t get broken every day. :D I am, no doubt, going to be trying his patience in the coming weeks/months ahead, but I keep telling myself that I will stop short of spraying him with Lysol disinfectant every time he comes home. :);)

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you are going to be able to do some yoga classes on line. With both New York and New Jersey shutting down gyms, I am wondering if either Peloton or Cathe will do any on-line classes during this time. I kind of expect Peloton to do something but not Cathe since her business is more her gym than her on-line classes (unlike Peloton). Yep, the damn broke on Friday with people shopping here too. On our way home from the hardware store, we stopped off to grab something to make dinner.....and there was no meat of any kind in the grocery store at all. :o My last day out was Saturday, though DH continues to go out (grocery, hardware and work). I plan to stay in as much as I possibly can right now. At least the days are longer and the temperatures are climbing so I can spend some more time outside, even with the rain. I think that will help keep me from going a little crazy. But I would rather be a little crazy than sick....or, worse yet, getting somebody else sick. I am so glad your DH is home and no longer traveling for work. His timing was so fortunate. I am worried about my DH traveling next month and that is one trip! To do it every week.....nope. Anyhow, we are laying down flooring in our attic. We did a portion of it when we moved in, but now we want to finish it. It is really a decent place to store stuff, like all our Christmas items.

Laurie, sorry to hear you lost your message! That is so frustrating. Glad to hear you found some motivation doing Jillian to start your rotation this morning. Great job! Hope you are doing well and your family is staying healthy.

    Tami, hope you are well.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Once again busy as can be. We are actually having our biggest open order month EVER in the history of the business. WHAT!?! It has been crazy and then the world happenings with the CORONA Virus thrown in the mix. I thought I better get on here before you all started worrying. Things are good, everyone in my family and work family are safe, so that is good.

I did get the opportunity in between things last week to do a little bit (tiny bit) of training that they promised me, but it was cut short due to other responsibilities. Now this week of course it is day by day depending on what happens nation/state wide with regulations. Business as usual for us but it is so surreal with everything going on. My supervisor asked me to concentrate on just catching up our company policies .... this is an on going day-to-day thing that I work on whenever I have a chance, but I am the only one doing them so it has been hard to keep up. I even worked a few hours yesterday but I guess she would like to see even more done. The frustrating part is I am the ONLY one working on them. She even had me train our new title officer on how to do them so she can help ..... but I guess since there are so many other things to do I am the ONE. So I will just put my head down and try to get a bunch done this week. Just glad to be healthy and working I keep saying. :)

Weekend workouts were awesome! I did LITE Pyramid Lower + Peloton Ride on Saturday and yesterday I did LITE Pyramid Upper + Peloton ride. Will get in a workout at home tonight. Probably going to avoid the gym for a little while. Since I only have my one class anyway, why chance it.

I am going to try and read through all of your posts and get caught up with you ladies. Just wanted to make sure you knew I was safe & sound. ;)

From the brief little bits I have read it sounds like you are all safe and I am relieved to know that. <3;)

Laurel: When were you thinking of starting the new rotation again that you had talked about?

Thelma: Love that funny picture you posted ..... I don't even begin to understand the hoarding of toilet paper, paper towels and tissue?!?!? Bottled water? Is running water going to stop? :o

Talk to you ladies tomorrow ~ Tami

Tami!! Okay, I admit.....I was worried about you. B) Just with your DH traveling, and his pneumonia last year, and where you are.....so I am SO glad to hear everybody is okay. Thank you for checking in!

But you gave me the reminder to FINALLY post my ideas on the next phase of the rotation, which I plan on starting on Sunday. Hope you and Thelma can find something here that works for you.

This is how I see the format: Burn Sets, STS Meso 3, S&H (or Body Beast), repeated in that order four times.

As far as the week formats, here is Burn Sets (weeks 1, 4, 7, 10)

Thursday-two weeks each of LIS Lower Body and 4DS Lower Body (or Fit/Split Legs and Glutes in either place) and cardio
Friday-two weeks each of LIS Upper Body and 4DS Lower Body (or Pyramid Upper Body in either place) and spin
    Saturday-Yoga

    STS Meso 3 (weeks 2, 5, 8, 11j

Sunday-Squat Rack Legs (Discs 37-40) and HiiT cardio
    Monday-Chest/Back (Discs 25, 28, 31, 34) and cardio
    Tuesday-spin and yoga
    Wednesday-Biceps/Triceps/Shoulders (Discs 27, 30, 33, 36) and cardio
    Thursday-Plyo Legs (discs 26, 29, 32, 35)
Friday-LITE Pyramid Upper Body and LITE Stacked Sets Upper Body (two weeks each)
    Saturday-yoga

Slow and Heavy or Body Beast Tempo or Build (weeks 3, 6, 9, 12)

Sunday-Legs and Abs or Great Glutes OR Body Beast Build Legs and and spin
Monday- Slow and Heavy Chest and Back and Cardio OR Body Beast Tempo or Build Chest and Tris and cardio
Tuesday-Slow and Heavy Legs and Shoulders OR Body Beast Build Shoulders and spin

Hi Ladies! my workouts today were Barre and Meso 2 - Disc 19 Legs.
The yoga studio instructors did very well with the online classes. They only had two classes today because today was more about figuring out which online platform would work better. Sad to say but I seem to be the most technical person there. Not a lot of people joined the live classes and the ones who tried couldn't figure it out.
I had my laptop connected to my workout room TV and others were trying to do the class using their phones!
There will be more classes available tomorrow which is great.

I hit the supermarket today for a few more staples and canceled my ophthalmologist appointment. The thought of having someone so close to my face was freaking me out and I had a very restless night thinking about. Thankfully they were very understanding about me canceling the day of the appointment. I told them that I was at high risk and that was all they needed to hear.

I don't know if you've heard that a drug used for malaria called hydroxychloroquine is being tested with great success to treat patients with coronavirus. I just heard tonight a doctor conducting a small controlled study and he said that a positive patient tested negative within 6 days of taking a small dose of the med.
This med has been around since WWII I heard and it's very inexpensive. The doctors said that patients taking the med today may not get the virus. This is one of my meds! I take a small dose every day for Lupus and RA. Maybe I won't get it!

Tourists are not taking the quarantine seriously around here. They are taking it as vacation time. I heard our downtown was full of tourists today. The small shops won't close because they have a lot of customers. The locals are furious with these tourists for being so inconsiderate because they may be bringing the virus here.

Laurie, I hate it when computer updates kick in automatically!
I'm so glad Jillian was able to get you motivated to do your planned rotation!

Laurel, you and your DH are so good about tackling all those home projects! 78 bags of mulch! WOW! I meant to ask you if you'd bought any cold/flu and cough meds just in case?
    Isn't housework exhausting?!
I'm sorry your DH has to go to the office Laurel. I hope he will be very careful about washing his hands and not touching his face.
It really is surreal. I don't know what would happen here if the service industry had to shut down. People depend on their service industry jobs to support themselves.

Great workouts! Thank you for posting the new rotation. I am going to take a closer look tomorrow but I think it looks great. I love seeing STS there again!

I would think Peloton should be able to do live classes. You may have to do Cathe's pre-recorded classes.
Friday was a crazy day all over the country. The poor people at the supermarkets can't keep up with the current demands. They're all working very hard. Today was my last day out. DH had to take our kitty to her vet appointment and needs to go to the bank tomorrow. If we need anything from the supermarket he will have to go.
DH's timing with switching jobs was God's work I believe.
I totally understand about your DH traveling now but at least the planes are practically empty these days and they are being disinfected.
Installing flooring in the attic is a great idea. More space!

Tami, so glad to hear you and your family are OK! Your company is really doing good with so much business! It's so good you're a part of that!
Too bad your training got interrupted so you could do 'fun' stuff (NOT) such as company policies! You got stuck with them because you're good at it! Stop asking for more work! LOL

Great job getting those workouts in even with that workload of yours!
The toilet paper shortage is a crazy thing. We only drink bottled water so we stocked up on that too.

    Goodnight ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning was Kelly's Build & Burn Upper Body Superset.

We are still going strong here at work, and I hope that we don't run out of parts to make our product. We manufacture for the medical industry, so we need to stay open. My DH is at home since they closed the college completely to all non-essential personal. He is a critical person, but only needs to be there if there is an emergency. My youngest dd is so far still working, but they are not doing haircuts. She will be working on the floor for now. My oldest is still working with closings, and she had a freak out day yesterday. Most of the banks are not handling closings right now, so title companies are taking up the slack. I understand that she doesn't want to get sick. Her husband is working from home. The best part of working is the drive into work. :D

Laurel, Great job on all your workout. Love the look of your next phase. They have limited the number of people to 50 for gatherings and stores/restaurants. I'm sure that it will change as things change around here. Milwaukee has closed all bars and restaurants, I'm positive they did this because of St. Patrick's Day. That is like a city holiday for them. Hope that your DH stays safe if he does have to travel.

Tami, So glad to hear that you are doing well, and understand the business. As stated above, I'm sure that you are dealing with the same thing as my dd right now. Great job on your workouts. They shut the gyms down around here. In fact we have them at work, and those where shut down yesterday. Hopefully when things start to slow down you will get the necessary training.

Thelma, How cool that they are doing the on line classes, and great job on your leg workout. I hope the malaria medication test continues to make progress, because that would be some hope at the end of this tunnel if it can help improve more severe symptoms. Sorry to hear about the tourists.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute spin with Peloton followed by a 30 minute ‘Slow Flow’ yoga from Peloton. The gloomy weather and all the virus news has me wanting to crawl back into bed for about five years.....but I didn’t (or haven’t yet :) ). The good news is this is DHs last day at work, though he will need to go in periodically. And they have rescheduled his trip to Alaska until the end of April at the earliest.

Tami, again, thanks for checking in yesterday. Great job with the workouts! Stay safe and healthy.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad they at least tried the yoga on-line even if there were some hitches. Hopefully things will smooth out a bit over time. I hope your medication helps protect you from this virus! It amazes me how many people seem to be going about life as usual. I can’t imagine being a tourist right now enjoying the shops anywhere! But I have talked to a number of people, sadly, who just don’t understand the concern for ‘something like the flu’. I read an absolutely horrible study this morning (that may convince me to never read the news again!) about what may happen if people don’t start paying attention. I am not going to recommend it because it truly represents a worst case scenario....and it was horrifying. But I really wish people were taking this more seriously right now. Anyhow, we did buy some cold/flu medication, just in case.

Laurie, great workout. I am glad your DH is home but I imagine you wish the same for yourself and your daughters. I was wondering how Ulta was handling this so far. Isn’t it strange that one of my concerns right now is what to do about my hair!?! :o It is so insignificant! But, at the same time, in about a month :o:o . I will figure something out. I wouldn’t mind just letting it go gray so much....except for the transition period. :# I am glad they closed the bars and restaurants. I wish they would do the same here, but I think it may happen tomorrow. I hope.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, today's workouts were Meso 2 - Disc 21 Back & Biceps and Yoga Basics. The live classes were better today!

We had heavy rain last night and today but at the end of the day, the sun made a quick appearance.

I found out my aunt and her husband in Italy have been sick! They both have a cough but they don't think they coronavirus because they're still alive! That is exactly what she said! I can't stand it when my aunts hide from me the fact that they're sick. I know they don't want me to worry about them but now! Seriously? I am glad they're getting better. God only knows if they have the virus. She said they're feeling better.

Laurie, great job with the KCM workout!
You guys really can't afford to stop working if you're manufacturing for the medical industry. I remember what a nightmare it was for Siemens when they ran out of parts to build our instruments. I bet Rocket is loving having daddy home!

This is what hairstylists did in China during the virus
    https://www.storypick.com/chinese-barbers/

I had no idea the banks are not doing closings right now. Sounds like your oldest is in the same boat Tami is!

The malaria med was all over the news today again. I heard that a person with the coronavirus was given the med and after 6 days tested negative.

Laurel, great workouts! You are not kidding about the gloomy weather! I actually slept in today and I could've stayed in bed all day long. Fantastic news about your DHs job! You must be so relieved!

The online yoga classes started to go smoothly in the afternoon. They still had glitches in the morning but they finally figured things out.
I'm hoping my med protects me too. I think that if DH gets it I'll give him some of my meds!
Tourists are saying that they can't understand why people are so afraid of a cold! They're so ignorant!
I've been hearing of some pretty horrific numbers and what could potentially happen. I'm ready for a total lockdown at this point.
I'm glad you bought some cold and flu meds! Better safe than sorry!

    Goodnight ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

Even better drive to work this morning, they closed all the bars and restaurants. Ulta will be closed as of Thursday, but they are paying the employee's until the end of this month. My workout this morning was 30MTF Build & Burn Lower Body Tabata.

Laurel, Great job on the workouts! Glad to hear that your DH is able to work from home. I still have to wonder what will happen when people start getting back to the "normal" day. This virus might still be hanging out there, and we have this all over again. They are taking every precaution around here that they can. LOL about the hair cuts. I was wondering it a lot of women would have a great need to get their hair colored. We still have hair stylists that are taking customers, but warn that no one should come in sick. I don't watch the news anymore, it is very hard to determine what is fact or fiction. It doesn't help when the news networks say the wrong things and then don't correct there statements. My DH said this morning that he was going to tackle a home improvement item that has been on the to do list for a long time. Guess he has the time to do it now. I know that when I was laid off for a week, I tackled painting projects.

Thelma, I'm glad that your class went better, and great job on your other workouts. So happy to hear that your Aunt is doing well despite being sick. 80% of the cases are mild, so they could possible have had the virus. There are people that have tested positive, and do not have any symptoms. We have stand up meetings, and they want us to stand at least two arms length apart. The banks in this area are restricting to drive thru for the most part, so I think that is why they are not handling all the closings. Some of our parts come from overseas. For the most part I think that they only restricted travel, but I think the shipping is still going.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was STS Disc 24/Back and Biceps followed by Cathe Live Cardio Boxing, HiiT and Core. Sadly, DH is at work again today. :s Hopefully today is his last day. I asked him what life is like ‘out there’ (five days in and this is how I am seeing it already! :o ), and he said it seems very much like normal. :o:o:o I know he is going to have to go into work next week but, hopefully, he will be home the next few days. One of his friends who is also a contractor for the Defense Department got a ‘stop work’ order yesterday and is now out of work. So, on top of everything else, I am now beginning to wonder how long DH will have a job. :'( At least we have savings and his military retirement/VA money to live off of, but it is still a very scary thought right now.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad the yoga class went better. Since you mentioned your medication yesterday, I have read several reports mentioning its effectiveness. I am really hoping that with a little more study from some brilliant minds on this planet they can find a way of lowering the severity and mortality rate of the virus to make it more manageable for the health care system and to allow more people to return to normalcy. I know we are 18 months at least from a vaccine, but if the virus weren’t so threatening, things would be so much better. I can’t imagine how scared you are for your aunt! I am glad they are feeling better, but that is frightening.

Laurie, great workout! I saw that about Ulta closing this morning. I think that is the right call, and I am glad they are paying their employees until the end of the month. I totally agree about the sources of news these days. I think that is what made the study I read yesterday so horrifying. It was a study from renowned epidemiologists in the UK that the government of the UK used to drastically change its approach to the virus. So, in other words, it was free of media manipulation and interpretation. And, boy, there was nothing rosy about it for sure. I am seeing some media sources pick it up today but even then they are trying to make it sound not quite so bad.....which is confusing to say the least. So I told DH that once he is home and safe, I am turning off my computer and dedicating the foreseeable future to living obliviously. :D I think that will be my very best approach right now. That....and wine. ;)

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies ~ Another very long day at work yesterday doing policies but I am getting us more and more caught up, which is the goal. I did head home and do PHA2, which felt fantastic! DH was keeping busy cleaning out a couple of small freezers he uses when he goes fishing, just in case we need them. Believe me he is preparing for total lockdown at our house. YIKES. I appreciate him being such a caretaker but at the same time it creates a little worry/anx. I am planning on a Peloton ride after work.

Laurel: Awww thank you for thinking of me, I am glad I checked in. With such uncertain times and our area, etc. I am glad I checked in too and all is good. DH arrived home from Vegas just in time. He mentioned last night that today is day #14 since he returned and he isn’t sick so he feels out of the woods for that trip. I didn’t realize he was still worried and thinking of it. But naturally with all that he has had go on he is extra cautious and worried right now. Thank you so much for posting the new rotation, I new when you talked about it before it must be coming up! YAY I plan on trying to follow it!! Looks fabulous. I will probably go towards the Body Beast TEMPO so thank you for including that; just for some variety. Way to go with your workouts!

Thelma: Excellent job with your workouts as well. I am glad that one of your medications is potentially a helpful ingredient, I bet that makes you feel good. Our local gyms are all shut down until further notice so thank goodness for my DVD library and of course my PELOTON workouts!!! Thank you for the “redirection” of my thoughts …. Doing policies because I am good at them …I will try and tell myself that! LOL So boring but I am thankful we are all well here at our company each day and our doors are still open. TP is still in a major shortage around our community. Luckily DH stocked up by going to the store a couple of times at like 5 AM. He is getting us all prepared in case we get quarantined to the house, I have to say that I had some heart palpitations this a.m. thinking of being in the house so much with him. He has a LOT of nervous energy right now. Workouts workouts and more workouts will be my “go to” in staying sane. :D When he gets nervous about things he has a tendency to "NATTER" on about things.

    Hi Laurie :)

Everyone keep on keeping on and staying healthy!!! Talk to you all tomorrow! Tami

Hi Ladies! Today's workouts were: Beginner Gentle, Sculpted-Movement Fusion, Walk Off Belly Fat w/Ellen Barrett and Yin Yoga. I did 3 live classes today!

Things are well here. I practically did gentle workouts a good part of my day today. It felt great.

We had a cloudy day and tomorrow our temps should be in the 70's!

Laurie, great job with the 30MTF workout! I bet the commutes are great these days! DH and I were joking about our commutes. He walks from our bedroom into the dining room area which is his office. I told him I had a longer commute because I had to take the stairs to go downstairs. I also ran into a kitty traffic jam so I had to take an alternate route! LOL.
I am so glad Ulta is going to pay the employees until the end of the month. I hope things are better in a couple of weeks.
I also worry about the virus still being out there when people think it's safe to return to work. We'll have to see what happens in China now that people are returning to their normal lives.

I have the feeling that my aunt and her husband have the virus too. Hopefully, they'll be OK. I'm glad your office is practicing social distancing! Wow, you already have a lot of restrictions there! I don't think a lot of places have closed here yet. My yoga studio and the herbiary owned by the lady's husband are closed. Those are all the closures I know of.

Laurel, great workouts! Too bad your DH had to go to the office today. Hopefully, he won't have to go to the office too often.
I'm sorry you're now having to worry about layoffs too! It really is a scary thought. Does your DH think his friend got a stop order because of what's going on with the virus and the economy?
I hadn't even thought about what life must be like out there! Life is pretty normal for me because I still do my yoga classes and see my yoga pals online. I'll have to look at the downtown Blue Ridge live cams tomorrow. Tomorrow will be our 3rd day full quarantine day.

Tami, good job making a big dent on those policies and for getting your workouts in!
Good idea to clean up those freezers just in case! Too funny about preparing for total lockdown. We are definitely ready for that ourselves. I am the one who got us ready for a possible lockdown. We got food for the two and four-legged creatures, cough, cold/flu, and fever meds. Paper products. I just can't imagine what else we could possibly need. Sorry, he's a little nervous about this which is obviously stressing you out. You worry about your job and let him worry about the lockdown. I would just give him a list of foods you'd like him to buy for you.

Knowing that one of my daily meds can help with this virus does make me feel good. I'm not surprised your gyms are closed. Thank God for your DVD collection and your Peloton!
I'm glad I was able to redirect your thoughts about the policies. You must be good because that is not a job a lot of people can do. Of course, now you're stuck with them! LOL
It is definitely a good thing that your company is still open for business. Could people work remotely if needed?
OMG on the heart palpitations about being in the house with your DH if you had to go be quarantined. Lucky for me DH works during the day. I try not to interrupt him because I sometimes see the smoke coming out of his head when he's so focused on the task at hand.
If you had to work from home you could take those policies home and tackle them there. You're going to have to keep yourself busy if you have to be locked up at home. That's kind of what I'm doing.
If you could only get him to workout with you! I've tried to get DH to do yoga with me but he won't!

    Goodnight ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

Every day's drive into work there are less and less people. :/ I did take Rocket to daycare, I really don't want them to lose business. He is such a good boy that I could stand by the door, drop his leash and he walked to the worker. She then opened their door, and he walked through that. ;) My workout this morning was 30MTF Build & Burn Kettlebell Kickbox Fusion.

Laurel, Great job on your workouts. I'm sure once the cases start increasing where you are, there will be less and less people out and about. We have quite a few cases in Milwaukee, and there was a doctor at children's hospital that tested positive. :'( My job has been labeled at critical 50%, so that means that I would work from home a couple of days, and then come into work to get things done that can't be done at my house. We have not kicked into that mode yet. My youngest didn't even make it into work yesterday, they called and told her they where shutting the doors. So her and DH cleaned out the freezer. :D

Tami, Nice job on the workout, and I hope your Peloton workout went well. Nice that you are getting the policy's all caught up, I'm sure that once everything is caught up it will be way easier to keep up with it. Sounds like your DH was doing the same thing as mine. :D The worry/anyx is with me every day. I don't really care if I get the virus, but I just don't want to pass it on to someone else. I just understand the importance of my job right now, and I find it interesting how some people around here don't seem to understand that.

Thelma, Awesome job on your workouts. Thank you for the laugh with the commute, and having to avoid the cat congestion. ;) They have police coming into business counting the number of people, and telling them that they will be fined if they have more than the 10 people limit. One has to wonder if China will tell us the truth, since they kept everything under wraps for so long.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Last night Cathe posted on Facebook that she was planning on going live this morning from her closed gym and just by herself, so I decided I would work out with her this morning to keep her company. :) The workout was Total Body Blast, and it was three leg exercises followed by three cardio exercises followed by three upper body exercises for what was supposed to be four rounds. My live feed, though, kicked back to the beginning after the second round and after a second of wondering what to do.....I just went with it and ended up repeating those two rounds and then finishing with the last two rounds, which made for a nice 90 minute workout. :o But it was great, and I really appreciated Cathe’s positive energy this morning. I followed it with STS Medicine Ball Abs.

Tami, I am SO glad your DH is out of the woods from his traveling. I am sure that is a relief to him. I completely understand the heart palpitations and the anxiety prepping for total lockdown. DH called me on his way home from work last night and wanted to pick some more stuff up at the store because he could, so he asked me what he should focus on getting. I kind of mentioned a couple of things and then said I really had no clue what to do right now because none of us have ever prepped for something like this before! But as somebody mentioned on-line yesterday, for having our entire world blown up in the last ten days, people are proving to be pretty adaptable. But if I am being honest......I don’t think reality has set in yet for most everybody. So I am thankful for this community to hold on to for some much needed normalcy. Anyhow, great job with the workouts. I am glad you like the look of the new rotation. Don’t be surprised if I join you with those Body Beast workouts after a week. I am not sure I am in the right mental place for Slow and Heavy. :#

Thelma, great workouts! It sounds like the live workouts are going good now. I love you and your DH joking about your commute. :) DH is working from home today, but he had to go in first thing this morning because he forgot his work at work last night. :o He left about 45 minutes later than normal and when he got home, he said traffic is still horrible, so it sounds like most businesses here are operating as normal.....which isn’t good. He has to go in three days next week and then, hopefully, he will be home most of the time. It will be an adjustment for us since I am SO used to the house to myself for 12 hours a day. :) But at least our house is set up so he has a room he can work in.....and I have the rest of the house. :D Anyhow, about his friend who lost his job, we think it was a pretty intense knee-jerk reaction by the base commander at Moody Air Force Base, where two airmen tested positive for the virus, to get as many non-military and military people off the base. And since there is no end in sight for this, I am sure the commander and Air Force decided they just didn’t think it was worth paying the contracts anymore. DH seems to think he will be good until September based on his contract....and I hope he is right.

Laurie, great workout. I think things will change around here more quickly now. The governor has been good about some things (like shutting down the schools) but not others (like leaving the beaches open for Spring Break). DH said the store shelves are empty, so he knows many people are taking it seriously. But we are nowhere close to ‘sheltering in place’ as a state, that’s for sure. I am glad to hear your company has a plan for 50% manning already. That will make it so much easier when you need to implement. My DH has been pretty upset with his bosses as on Monday they and several employees decided to work from home as a test.....and then decided not to come back to work. :o They provided no guidance for those still at work, so DH told his team yesterday what to do (go home) and he would take the fall if the bosses got upset. I just don’t quite understand why his bosses kind of ran off, but as I said to Tami, this is new to all of us, so......

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies ~ I did get in a really nice Interval and Arms Peloton ride – This instructor does a lot of punching with weights as the arm part of the workout; fun and a stress reliever! :D

Thelma: When I arrived home last night and got on the bike DH was out in the garage. He has completely arranged our “normal” outdoor freezer and all organized with the food we are currently eating and use. Then he prepared one of the other freezers with “emergency backup” food. He told me not to get into that until we need too. OMG! Part of me wanted to just laugh and the other part of me was so thankful that he is being proactive and taking such good care of us. Our company is currently working on people being remote, yes. A few have done a test run for a day or part day to see how it goes and what needs to be fixed in order to do it effectively every day. Our manager was taking a list of people that need laptops and he is buying them, getting our systems all plugged in by our IT guy and then we will be ready one by one. Yes, I will be taking policy files home if that’s what ends up happening.

Laurie: I love that you took Rocket to his daycare; both for them and their business and him too. I feel that animals can definitely sense our stress too and it has to feel like a “shift” for them right now too. We have plenty of dog food an treats for Mr. Bernard. Excellent job on your workout today! That is such a fun one. It’s funny you say that about the policies. Since I started working here I have caught them up TWICE. But, as soon as I am not doing them as a huge part of my monthly activities, they fall short and start stacking up again. Not sure how it has become my job, but at least they eventually get caught up! It’s my mission once again since the training has come to a stop due to the uncertainty of everything. Hang in there with your DH. Sounds like we are in the same boat. My DH said, if anyone gets it that it will be him and he just hopes to not give it to me. Last night he mentioned moving out to our trailer if he gets sick. :/ GEEZ. Lets try to think positive first. LOL It sounds smart to have your company staggered on employees coming in or not My friend who works within the Health and Welfare Dept. is doing that. They have some super strict rules and are prepared each day to maybe not be coming back to work each day (aka: bringing their computers home and whatever they would need).

Laurel: What a fun workout to do! I think it is great Cathe did that and I bet she was super positive. I see that Beach Body is offering 2 weeks free of online classes. Didn’t read if there was fine print, but thought that was nice of them. It is so surreal forsure and I agree, I think some people have their heads in the clouds thinking it will just pass over. I truly hope they are right and that it is more like that, but feeling prepared is such a comfort. Not sure what “prepared” means since I have never come close to preparing for an in home quarantine but having small plans in place helps. Thank you for the kudos on my workouts. I am really looking forward to being back into the “workout rotation” with you guys.

Have a great afternoon/evening ladies ~ talk to you tomorrow! Tami
