9.04 miles in 76 minutes, 20 seconds. I hadn't been that fast since 2010 BiLo/Dasani Marathon in Myrtle Beach (the one that got cancelled due to snow, but I ran anyway.). It was 63 degrees this morning. I guess I got excited.0

I worked out today inspite of the heat.0

Totally passing up the almond snicker bar that I love and realizing as I did, it wasn't hard. :happy:0

I have been on medications for high blood pressure and high cholesterol for many years. However, thanks to the low carb diet I have been doing my blood work came back normal for the first time in years, and I have been off the medications for months0

I just signed up for myfitnesspal... Does that count as a Victory? Gotta start somewhere!0

I am so impressed with all of you! So many of these I would not have thought to be my NSVs, but I am totally stealing your ideas and owning them Good for us! I put on my bra this morning to walk and it was loose so I put it on the third row of hooks and it was still too loose, so I got into my stash of old new bras and they fit just right! Goodbye to 38DD and hello to 36DD. Now a goal is to get to my favorite....34DD! Back fat is melting off and old bras are going in the garbage0

I was feeling the itch to exercise, but I am at work. Instead of waiting until I got home, I decided to walk up some stairs in my big office building. I ended up doing 14 flights today! This is a lot for me as I am usually winded after 3. Next week I am going to try for 16, then 18, and so on...0

I'm really sore today from a week of working out hard and strength/toning yesterday (yeah!!!). I was walking (okay hobbling) with my hands on my waist/back area where I'm sore and I felt my muscles with every step. Yep, there are muscles under there and they were talking to me today.
And I realized that I really like being 30 pounds lighter and although I still have 28 more to go, I have made great progress. I'm healthier, happier and look and feel better. Yep, it was a good day. And it was a much needed rest day!!0 -

This is the perfect topic for me today! Went to the pharmacy to pick up a refill on my bp meds and through my conversation with the pharmacist we got to talking about my weight loss journey. He was in awe when I told him that I had lost 47 lbs so far, he gave me a high five and then he proceeded to thank me for all that I am doing to improve my health. That really meant a lot to me!0

I left some clothes in a bucket at my boyfriend's house from a year or so ago. I was out of clean clothes there today and put on a miniskirt that I used to not look great in. It's a size 10 and fell off me immediately, hahaha.0

Just ordered a cool t-shirt from Tee Fury, and only had to get an XL instead of a 2XL. Whee!0

My NSV is that I bought a pair of size 28 Miss Me jeans 3 days ago on a trip to Buckle and today they are already very loose after a couple of hours of wear. I'm getting very close to a huge goal of mine to get back into a size 27 jean.
That's my guess, because they are tiny, tiny, tiny! (well, to me anyways!)
The 28 is probably the inches for the waist band. For low waisted jeans this means that wherever they fall, even if on the hips, is the "waist". So, this means you're losing inches! That's the best kind of loss.0 -
Worked my legs three days ago and they are still sore. Wearing heels to work isn't helping either. Tells me I did something right!0

Buying a 6-pack of Sam Adams and a pizza and not caring about the scale.
Ask me tomorrow how I feel.0 -
i ran a mile in 14 minutes 11 seconds...it was awesome0

I managed to leave Dunkin Donuts after REALLY wanting a mocha iced coffee after I looked up the calorie and fat count. I settled for a regular iced coffee with no sugar flavor shot. Not to same, but it worked today :-)0

The skirt I tried on is still too tight, but that didn't bother me. I brushed it off, and put something else on. In the past I would have probably cried.0
-
I limited myself to one serving of pasta and no bread :drinker:0

Went to the doctor today for a follow up on my high blood pressure. My blood pressure was normal, and that is without medication (I stopped taking it two months ago).0
-
Today I put the smaller of my two strapless bras on and it was too loose to stay up. :bigsmile:0
-
Almost tripping on my sweatpants in dance practice because they have gotten so baggy. Could have gotten hurt, but I still felt good about it, if that makes any sense lol0
