girls with muscle - sexy or turn off?

you have to be kidding. The envy is just oozing out of some of you photoshop police.
Because the only way someone could actually not aspire to look like another person is because they're too jealous to admit it, right?
Women just felt her boobs were ridiculous, and some of us are wary of aspiring to airbrushed photos. That makes us realistic, not jealous.0 -
sexy! mine would probably be better if I didn't eat so much ice cream.0

THIS THREAD, AGAIN!?!?!? *bangs head on desk*0

I wouldn't find it attractive on me, but more power to anyone else who wants to do it.0

Has nothing to with aspirations. But saying her obliques are shopped is absurdity. Anyone who's ever dieted knows that lighting, carb loading, water levels, bf etc etc all make dramatic differences in appearance.
And it's fcking petty. You two werent stating you didnt aspire to look like her. You were picking her apart, obliques and bad boob job?! Really?! That screams envy and insecurity.0 -
This isn't just a question for the guys, I wanna hear what the other ladies think too.
I love sculpting and building muscle. But my mom and my sister tell me that muscle looks "ugly" on a girl, or that it will make me too "manly". (They say that too because their men tell them that they don't need muscle)
What do YOU think? Are girls with muscle sexy? or does it become a turn off?
Your mother and sister's "men" are the disgusting ones. They want super-skinny *****es, but don't want them working out? That's just stupidity. I like women with muscle tone. Even women who might even look a little ripped. Under normal circumstances it's simply not possible for women to be as "body-builder-like" as men, and as long as she still looks female, I'm fine with it, and so are most men.0 -
My idea of the perfect amouint of muscles on a woman is someone like Jillian Michael's. Im not highly into wanting muscles but if i had a body like hers, especially her arms, i'd be extremely happy :happy:0

For me: No way. I like food too much, and have other interests that take priority over lifting weights/being fit. I'm happy with a healthy weight and being able to do the things I want, like bike riding, etc., and getting time to do all the other {nerdy} things I like to do.
For other women: More power to you. That kind of time and devotion deserves respect. And I will give it!
If I was a guy: Yeah, I'm not really into the photos posted on the first page. But that's me. I'm just not into sculpted bodies on women or men. But that's me.
Body is secondary to being funny and having a great smile and laughing eyes. Also, passion about anything is hot. Those are the things I look for before looking at physique.0 -
I'm gonna go against the current here...
I've been scrolling the thread looking at the pictures, and so far I don't find any of those pictures attractive, and some of them repulse me. It's not a judgement on how I believe women "should be," because I don't think we consciously choose what we're attracted to. I'm attracted to feminine looking women who are fit and have a flat stomach, but I find that big abs (and especially big arms) on a woman look too masculine, which to me is repulsive. However, other men clearly like it.
Bottom line:
a) decide the kind of body you want
b) work hard toward obtaining it
c) find a partner that is attracted to your body
d) ignore everyone else's opinion0 -

People like what they like, there isn't one definition of perfect. That's why these threads can get monotonous.0 -
Extremely Sexy! With the exception of a few olympic powerlifters, women with muscles are very hot. Can't figure out why anyone would say otherwise. Maybe women like to sabotage each other? Some women and a few DB guys with self-esteem issues seem to be the only ones who say "Oh, that is just not attractive!"
Really so if someone has a personal preferance it automaticly means they are insecure or trying to sabotage? REALLY?!
So if someone does not like girls with glasses, girls with red hair ect ect are they also insecure DB
I didnt know we were ALL supposed to find the exact same things attractive.0 -
And it's fcking petty. You two werent stating you didnt aspire to look like her. You were picking her apart, obliques and bad boob job?! Really?! That screams envy and insecurity.
When did I say anything about her obliques?
She's lifting her shirt up to show off her massive fake tits, and it's petty to laugh at her boob job?
"You're just jealous!" "You're insecure!" - Personal attacks on my personality. This is grade-school level defensiveness when someone doesn't agree with you. Since this is a thread about personal physical preference, can't we just agree to disagree without it being a contest of who has healthier self-esteem?0 -
Athletic girls are very sexy0

In English, "you" can be second person plural. I wasn't talking about you, read the quote chain you called me out on.
And yes, that's petty.And yes, that's petty.
So is your personal judgment, have a great day
dear lord, must be that time of the month0 -
it can put age on you, really quick. JMO0

its sexy up until it pushes the woman's look into masculine territory.
though i don't know that i've ever seen a strong woman's legs that ever turned me off so its very subjective.0 -
muscles/athleticism is super duper sexy.0
-
strong, muscular sexy women for me, please. I love all the amazingingly fit and uber sexy women at my Crossfitt box. also love being able to go up to a girl and tell her "nice snatch" and she high fives you!0

I think girls who are toned, to be attractive. Flat stomach, long legs, strong arms (not bulky/broad shoulders). I don't really find body builder women attractive. But hey, that's just me.0

For me personally, I tend to find both men and women more attractive when they aren't extremely muscular. It's not that it grosses me out or anything- it's just something that I'm not attracted to. Definition is gorgeous, but I mostly want to get healthy and be with someone who is healthy.0

Some are sexy.0

Personally I like some jiggle to my women. For my men, as long as you don't look like you're on steroids we're good.0

I am pretty muscular, and would like to get more so, but I am starting to notice some guys responding negatively to it. Oh well... I'm used to being a "freak" - so bring it on baby!!! Haha0

Nicely defined muscles are so hot to me. But overly defined, slightly bulky muscles, not so much. Will I tell a girl with them they don't look good? HELL NO. That's a crazy amount of work, dedication and self control that I refuse to put down.0
