1 August - official rest day - I am donating blood so won't be able to exercise however I have been told that when you donate blood the body uses 500 cals to replenish it - does this count as exercise ;-) - Managed to get in a nice brisk walk before donating blood ;-)
2 August - ran 5k again - :-D - and did it a little bit quicker!!!!
3 August - had guests for the weekend so didn't get any exercise in today
4 August - quick 30 min wlak fitted in today
5 August - 6 hour road trip so not a lot of scope for exercise
6 August - woo hoo back on track with a 5 k run, not only that done outside for the first time AND at 6am!!!
7 August - will be disappearing off for a nice long walk in the Cheshire hills today for an hour or so with my camera
8 August - 6 miles walking
9 August - 3 miles walking
10 August - rest day - got home late on the 9th from visiting and had stuff to catch up with
11 August - still catching up on stuff so another rest day but from tomorrow back with it 100% :-)
12 August - I am back - ran 5k outside not on treadmill :-)
13 August - first day back at work after week off = knackered = brief walk today but walked quickly ;-)
14 August - gym day - woo hoo - weights and cardio for 74 mins :-)
15 August - 12 hour day at work and bunny cleaning night so a very brisk 30 minute walk was all I could fit in today :-/
16 August - dusted of the wii fit & did over an hour of that and some wii zumba - different but fun!
Confession time - I have not been good - life has gotten in the way a little bit but I am honest so here's my catch up :-)
17 August - zilch, nada, zip -
18 August - pathetic amount of walking - nothing to write home about!
19 August - slightly better walk than above but still not the greatest!
20 August - zilch, nada, zip take two
21 August - wii fit session egged on by my son! - forgot to take my gym kit to work so missed gym session
22 August - zilch, nada, zip take three
23 August - bit more like it - gym session and yes I suffered for it as I hadn't done anything for a while - spent most of Friday walking like John Wayne due to very achy legs! That was payback for not exercising very much!
24 August - this is embarassing - absolutely nothing!
25 August - Nope nothing here either - somebody kick me up the *kitten* please
26 August - ten pin bowling but I haven't logged it because it was not strenuous in any way shape or form because I had just had a manicure for step-daughters wedding and there was no way I was going to mess up my nails!
27 August - I will confess now - not going to do much today - need to pack for going to step daughters wedding and travel to hotel so can't imagine I am going to get anything fitted in here
28 August - Wedding - will not be exercising apart from standing up a lot in high heels (does this burn cals???)
29 August - planning ahead now - I will do something on Wednesday of this week - I have a day off work so there is really no excuse in the world to stop me from exercising!!!!! Watch this space ;-) - managed to do some walking in the end - better than nothing!
30 August - woo hoo back with it - got in a gym session - bet I won't be able to walk tomorrow now!
31 August - 6 pack in 6 weeks because I felt I should be punished for not exercising enough in August - I am suitably punished! Also did a little bit of wii Fit

Cals burnt through steps but not deducted because this is normal everyday moving around 6410

:bigsmile: this has been a great month for me----excellent weather and with hubby gone for awhile I've been doing all the dog walking have had extra time to work in the yard.:bigsmile: I've missed him but made good use of the extra time.

Aug 1 - 40 minute run followed by 10 minutes of pushups and abdominal leg lifts, and squats
Aug 2 - 45 minute walk w/ dog
Aug 3 - 75 crunches, Rest day
Aug 4 - 40 minute run, 30 minutes of run 100 yards - calisthenic - repeat, 10 minute walk home.
Aug 5 - 32 minute run stadium steps for Step Up for Cancer. Music blasting - It was FUN.
Aug 6 - 40 minutes cleaning & 75 crunches. Kind of resting. My calves are a little tight after all the stairs yesterday.
Aug 7 - 40 minute swim, 15 minutes of diving board which was loads of fun, 45 minute walk w/ dog, 75 crunches
Aug 8 - 15 skateboarding, 30 minute run > over 90 today - yikes!
Aug 9 - 35 minute walk w/ dog, 75 minutes cutting down juniper by front door, 75 crunches
Aug 10 - 20 minute walk, 35 minute tennis on the wall, 70 minute walk w/ dog, 75 crunches, 20 pushups
Aug 11 - crashed my bike 3 minutes from home yesterday. Came back home and rested the rest of the day
Aug 12 - 60 minute bike ride. I got back on!! Need to take the bike in for adjustments though because the front derailer won't move now. 45 munite dog walk.
Aug 13 - 45 minute run
Aug 14 - 50 minutes tennis, 20 minute dog walk to/from park, 75 crunches
Aug 15 - 50 minute run, 45 minute walk
Aug 16 - 50 minutes tennis on the wall, 75 crunches, 75 pelvic lifts, 150 abdominal leg lifts
Aug 17 - 40 minutes jumping on the big trampoline, 50 minutes walk w/ dog
Aug 18 - 30 minute run, 75 crunches
Aug 19 - Hour walk w/ dog
Aug 20 - 30 minutes skateboarding, 40 minute dogwalk
Aug 21 - 40 minute run, 45 minute walk, 75 crunches.
Aug 22 - 50 minutes tennis, 30 min calisthenics
Aug 23 - 45 minute run, back extention 50 seconds, 10 very slow push ups.
Aug 24 - 40 minute run, 30+ minutes strength at home watching tv
Aug 25 - Rest - Went to the salon for a facial )
Aug 26 - 50 minutes walk dog, 20 min mowing
Aug 27 - 60 minute hike, 25 minutes yard work
Aug 28 - 50 minutes tennis, 60 minutes walking fast - well for me. I walked during my daughters soccer practice. The team is in a different neighborhood. I kind of got lost and was speeding up & down the streets & trails looking for the way back to the field and my daughter.
Aug 29 - 45 minute run w/ dog, 45 minute cutting down overgrown juniper thing (gardening).
Aug 30 - 45 minutes cutting juniper thing - I had 3 of them, all right in front of the house. It's not strenuous, just time consuming.
Aug 31 - 45 minutes cleaning refrigerator, 45 cutting on that dang juniper tree thing - not done yet, 25 minutes JM Ripped in 30.
