    Aug 1 - Bike 25 min weights 40 min
    Aug 2 - Treadmill 20 min weights 35
    Aug 3 - Treadmill 30 min
    Aug 4 - Spent all day in ER with my daughter - so rest day? (she had a freak 'accident' - was walking and some idiot mowed her down with a bicycle!)
    Aug 5 - Another rest? day - she came home Sat, but needed a lot of help today
    Aug 6 - Bike 45 min
    Aug 7 - Bike 30 min weights 40 min:smile:
    Aug 8 - Ended up to be a rest day - thanks for the comment clover 5
    Aug 9 - Treadmill 30 min weights 40 min - back to normal:smile:

    I'm back from the Canadian Rockies...

    8/1 - Busy getting ready for trip
    8/2 - driving all day...
    8/3 - hiked 4.25 miles
    8/4 - hiked 6.8 miles
    8/5 - hiked 9 miles
    8/6 - hiked 3.1 miles (a light day)
    8/7 - hiked 14 miles
    8/8 - hiked 4.8 miles
    8/9 - hiked 9+ miles
    8/10 - hiked 6.3 miles
    8/11 - pulled something in my hip and couldn't walk due to the pain
    8/12 - drove all day
    8/13 - still have severe pain, so may not be doing much until it heals... does an average for the month count??
  • 8/1 - Lifted weights (military press, bent rows & pull ups) & walked 3 miles
    8/2 - Elliptical (20 minutes) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/3 - Lifted Weights (ATG Squats, bench press, deadlifts & dips) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/4 - Pool fun all day
    8/5 - rest day
    8/6 - Lifted weights (ATG Squats, military press, bent rows) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/7 - Treadmill (14 minutes) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/8 - Lifted Weights (bench press, deadlifts & dips) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/9 - Pull ups & walked 3 miles outside
    8/10 - Weights (ATG Squats, military press, bent rows) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/11 - Walked 5 miles outside

    8-5-35 min walk
    8-6-56 min walk
    8-7-30 min circuit training which included pushups, squats, lunges, star jumps, russian twists, deadlifts, and some others. It was hard today but got it done.
    8-9-27 min walk, jog.
    8-11-38 min. walk jog, 12 push ups(happy i got in my 4 days this week)

    1 August - official rest day - I am donating blood so won't be able to exercise however I have been told that when you donate blood the body uses 500 cals to replenish it - does this count as exercise ;-) - Managed to get in a nice brisk walk before donating blood ;-)
    2 August - ran 5k again - :-D - and did it a little bit quicker!!!!
    3 August - had guests for the weekend so didn't get any exercise in today
    4 August - quick 30 min wlak fitted in today
    5 August - 6 hour road trip so not a lot of scope for exercise
    6 August - woo hoo back on track with a 5 k run, not only that done outside for the first time AND at 6am!!!
    7 August - will be disappearing off for a nice long walk in the Cheshire hills today for an hour or so with my camera
    8 August - 6 miles walking
    9 August - 3 miles walking
    10 August - rest day - got home late on the 9th from visiting and had stuff to catch up with
    11 August - still catching up on stuff so another rest day but from tomorrow back with it 100% :-)
    12 August - I am back - ran 5k outside not on treadmill :-)
    13 August - first day back at work after week off = knackered = brief walk today but walked quickly ;-)

    Aug 1 - 40 minute run followed by 10 minutes of pushups and abdominal leg lifts, and squats
    Aug 2 - 45 minute walk w/ dog
    Aug 3 - 75 crunches, Rest day
    Aug 4 - 40 minute run, 30 minutes of run 100 yards - calisthenic - repeat, 10 minute walk home.
    Aug 5 - 32 minute run stadium steps for Step Up for Cancer. Music blasting - It was FUN.
    Aug 6 - 40 minutes cleaning & 75 crunches. Kind of resting. My calves are a little tight after all the stairs yesterday.
    Aug 7 - 40 minute swim, 15 minutes of diving board which was loads of fun, 45 minute walk w/ dog, 75 crunches
    Aug 8 - 15 skateboarding, 30 minute run > over 90 today - yikes!
    Aug 9 - 35 minute walk w/ dog, 75 minutes cutting down juniper by front door, 75 crunches
    Aug 10 - 20 minute walk, 35 minute tennis on the wall, 70 minute walk w/ dog, 75 crunches, 20 pushups
    Aug 11 - crashed my bike 3 minutes from home yesterday. Came back home and rested the rest of the day
    Aug 12 - 60 minute bike ride. I got back on!! Need to take the bike in for adjustments though because the front derailer won't move now. 45 munite dog walk, and 30 minutes calisthenics in front of the TV.
    Aug 13 - 45 minute run

    I didn't see this post in the beginning of the month however I workout Monday thru Friday with weekends as my rest days. That is how it has been for me for the last two weeks.

    8/2 awake early ..morning yoga to start:flowerforyou:
    8/3 50 squats morning yoga, running around all day at work seeing patients
    8/4 20 minutes turbo jam...:heart: 60 minutes mowing the lawn
    8/5 walked 10 miles using map my walk with my sister, 16 min mile hot but felt great....:glasses:
    8/6 walked about 20 minutes after work :bigsmile:
    8/7 15 minutes yoga:heart:
    8/8 morning yoga, walked 15 minutes with the dog:happy:
    8/9 morning yoga:yawn: tired..10 minute walk and 50 situps before bed...
    8/10 morning yoga, 50 squats and bicep curls, tricept kickbacks....I need to get back to this ritual :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
    8/11 30 minutes mowing the lawn 60 min working inthe yard trimming ivy,weeding, 10 mi yoga,situps,swimming::flowerforyou:

    8/5 crunches, leg lifts, and push ups all while watching Dr. Who tongue
    8/6 rest day!
    8/7 55 min of BodyFlow and 40 minutes of Free Weights, leg lifts, and crunches
    8/8 taught a 60 min belly dance class
    8/9 20 minutes of elliptical, 40 minutes of free weights and leg lifts, 1 hour stick fighting class
    8/10 Rest Day
    8/11 leg lifts, push ups, crunches, and squats
    8/12 rest day!
    8/13 55 minutes of BodyJam

    8/1 - jogged 1 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!) & worked on arms with some dumbbells (30lbs total)
    8/2 - jogged 1.5 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!!) shooting for 2 straight miles next time!
    8/3 - 30 minute spin class and 2 softball games (edit: games cancelled due to rain)
    8/4 - nada
    8/5 - played in the pool with my kids, if that counts
    8/6 - jogged TWO miles and 2 softball games
    8/7 - 30 minute spin class & 30 minutes walking
    8/8 - jogged 1.5 miles, walked 1 mile
    8/9 - jogged 1.5 miles, walked .5 mile
    8/10 - 30 minute spin class and 2 softball games (if they're not cancelled due to rain)
    8/11 - rest (strained back)
    8/12 - rest + 30 minutes moderate cleaning
    8/13 - 2 softball games (went to chiropractor on lunch break)
    8/14 - 30 minute spin class

    8/1 - Turbo Sculpt DVD which is a 40 minute workout.
    8/2 - 40 minute walk with my hubby.
    8/3 - 30 minute bike ride with my hubby. 91 degrees out at 7:30 pm when we rode bikes. This weather is crazy hot!
    8/4 - 40 minute walk with my hubby. Another hot one outside.
    8/5 - 45 minutes of yard work and then tonight will be going on a 45 minute bike ride with my hubby.

    Aug 7 - 48 minutes dancing
    No excuse! Need to JUST DO IT!
    Aug 8 - none (Argghh! What did I just write on Aug. 7th NO EXCUSE! NEED TO JUST DO IT!)
    Aug 9 - none, again.
    Think maybe I'll stop posting until I know that I can do this, again... Out of town guests and time management has become a huge issue... This should not be excuses. I know that I need to do it. I may not post here anymore and start, again, in September...

    8/1 - jogged 1 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!) & worked on arms with some dumbbells (30lbs total)
    8/2 - jogged 1.5 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!!) shooting for 2 straight miles next time!
    8/3 - 30 minute spin class and 2 softball games (edit: games cancelled due to rain)
    8/4 - nada
    8/5 - played in the pool with my kids, if that counts
    8/6 - jogged TWO miles and 2 softball games
    8/7 - 30 minute spin class & 30 minutes walking
    8/8 - jogged 1.5 miles, walked 1 mile
    8/9 - jogged 1.5 miles, walked .5 mile
    8/10 - 30 minute spin class and 2 softball games (if they're not cancelled due to rain)
    8/11 - rest (strained back)
    8/12 - rest + 30 minutes moderate cleaning
    8/13 - 2 softball games (went to chiropractor on lunch break)
    8/14 - 30 minute spin class
    8/15 - jogged 1 mile, bent over rows (20lbs, 3X12), bicep curls (2 15lb dumbells, 3X12), tricep dips (1 15lb dumbell, 3X12), chest press (2 15lb dumbells, 3X12), stretching
