    8/1 a new month...... excited to be here.....situps walking and stretching.....
    8/2 awake early ..morning yoga to start:flowerforyou:
    8/3 50 squats morning yoga, running around all day at work seeing patients
    8/4 20 minutes turbo jam...:heart:

    08/01 = 30 mins of strength & 25 minutes of walking :) 204 cals
    08/02 = 48 mins Tae Bo & 25 minutes of walking :) 491 cals
    08/03 = 35 mins Davina Body Buff Boxing & 104 minutes walking :) 461 cals
    08/04 = 38 mins Kettlebells....so far :) 234 cals

    Aug 1 - 40 minute run followed by 10 minutes of pushups and abdominal leg lifts, and squats
    Aug 2 - 45 minute walk w/ dog
    Aug 3 - 75 crunches, Rest day
    Aug 4 - 40 minute run, 30 minutes of run 100 yards - calisthenic - repeat, 10 minute walk home.

    August 1---3 hours line dancing----two hours walking in the neighborhood with the frisky poodles
    August 2---21/2 hours dog walking---2 hours line dancing---1 hour walking with a friend
    August 3--3 hours dog walking---3 hours line dancing--1 hour garden puttering
    August 4--2 hours dog walking--30 minutes garden puttering

    every day----100 squats or 100 warrior 3 poses and a 3 minute plank

    :bigsmile: I took a break today from logging food and exercise but still walked over 20,000 steps and ate only food that i would normally eat.

    Trying for no repeats in a week

    8/1 - Yoga 15 min
    8/2 - Biking - 58 min
    8/3 - Walking - 30 min
    8/4 - Cleaning - 20 min

    Finally did some cleaning. Well it was more getting rid of old junk. The vacuum stayed comfortably stored in the closet:wink:

    8/2 step-ups, walking, calistetics - 75 minutes
    8/3 step-ups, walking, calistetics - 100 minutes
    8/4 sit-ups, gardening - 50 minutes

    8/1 - jogged 1 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!) & worked on arms with some dumbbells (30lbs total)
    8/2 - jogged 1.5 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!!) shooting for 2 straight miles next time!


    Congratulations! That's awesome that you jogged those distances, you must feel wonderful. That's a great accomplishment.
  • 8/1 - 60 min on the Eliptical, 60 min on the Stationary bike, 2sets of 15 chin ups (assisted, only pulling 90lbs)
    8/2 - 120 min on the treadmill, 30 min on the Stationary bike
    8/3 - rest
    8/4 - 60 min walking, 65 min of slow walking, Ab crunches (2 sets of 15 reps), Abdominal leg raise (1set of 10 reps and 2 sets of 15 reps), Push ups (3 sets of 10 reps), oblique crunches(2 sets of 15 reps)

    Updating to try to get these all on one page instead of new posts for each day:
    8/1 - Turbo Sculpt DVD which is a 40 minute workout.
    8/2 - 40 minute walk with my hubby.
    8/3 - 30 minute bike ride with my hubby. 91 degrees out at 7:30 pm when we rode bikes. This weather is crazy hot!
    8/4 - 40 minute walk with my hubby. Another hot one outside.
    8/5 - 45 minutes of yard work and then tonight will be going on a 45 minute bike ride with my hubby.
  • Did 75 mins of yoga... Yay!!!

    :flowerforyou: we have unusually hot weather today so the dogs didn't want to be outside for long and i didn't want to work in the yard for long so my exercise was in 10-15 minute stretches except for the early morning dog walk when it was cool

    :flowerforyou: I watched the women's marathon at the Olympics. I have over 21,000 steps on my pedometer but compared to the marathon runners, I feel like a couch potato. :laugh: :laugh:

    8/5 walked 10 miles using map my walk with my sister, 16 min mile hot but felt great....:glasses:
  • 8/1 - Lifted weights (military press, bent rows & pull ups) & walked 3 miles
    8/2 - Elliptical (20 minutes) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/3 - Lifted Weights (ATG Squats, bench press, deadlifts & dips) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/4 - Pool fun all day
    8/5 - rest day

    8/5 - played in the pool with my kids, if that counts
    8/6 - jogged TWO miles and 2 softball games
