Hmmm...I take a lot of vitamins, or so it seems like I do when I have a handful to consume. I take a multi vite, fiber supplement, extra vitamin D, extra vitamin E, a B Complex and an Omega-3 with with C & D. Whew! That's all I take at the moment but I am slowly learning about vitamins and supplements and I know that I will eventually add more when I figure out what I'm NOT getting from my food. Our kids take a multi vitamin and our pre-teen daughter also takes extra Zinc, C & D.

My "daily vitamins" have been made into a recipe in my food diary because about half of what I take are the vitafusion gummy vitamins and contain carbs so I count them daily as a "food" to keep my carb counts as accurate of an estimation as possible

I also take vitamins. Multi,x3, Fish Oil x2, JointMax x3, CQ10 x3. I also make sure to read the label for toxins. Here is a web site I use http://www.mortechems.com/

But I really believe you have to supplement with todays food. Just use a good vitamin. I use http://www.faceliftmasks.com/ also sold on AMAZON

No. I did take them religiously when younger, but when I stopped for a while and felt no difference, I never started again.

Tried taking women's multi but it was making me throw up as soon as I took it after a couple days, so I stopped. Anyone else have this problem? I also have to take iron pill as to I'm anemic.

    Blooms Acetyl L-carnitine x3
    Swisse Womens multi x2
    Swisse Womens green multi x1
Swisse Krill oil (better & stronger than fish oil) x1
Guarana with caffeine & ginseng x1
    Amcal Fluid retention tabs x2
    Swisse Liver detox x1
    Swisse Iron x1
    Swisse Vitamin d x1

Also forgot to add..... 2x Swisse sleep tablets. They help me sleep better & that way I wake up not as tired & therefore dont eat as much. Win win.

That's every day. Then add my panadine forte on top & I need to take psyllium husk tablets to combat that. I can't believe how many people here swallow so many fish oil tablets when they could take ONE small krill oil tablet & it would be like taking 6 fish oil ones. THAT is how good krill oil is.

Same problem here with the pill multivitamins. Found that taking it as a gummy vitamin (yes, they make them for adults) completely stopped that.

    Yup,
The best multi I found is "Alive".
These are great for reducing cholesterol. I dropped 73 points in 30 days without a diet change. My wife's cholesterol dropped 89 points in 45 days.

    Red Rice Yeast EXTENDED RELEASE
    Advanced Lipid Control
Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 enhanced mitochondrial support
    Fibrinogen Resist with nattokinase
    Green Coffee Extract
    Optimized Resveratrol synergistic grape actives
Alive for men over 50 Multi Vitamin
    Cholestoff - Costco

I also take a garlic tab, cayenne tab, Fish oil, parillo oil, CLA, Celery seed, Ginhko and ginseng, Vitamin B, Yeah its over the top but I feel great. I can't remember the last time I was sick or had a cold, flu - nothing. Works for me. My MD says its a waste of money but I'm fifty and don't take any prescription meds.

I was taking my vitamins and some other supplements daily until they started making me sick, so I scaled back. I started taking the vitamin like 3 or 4 times a week. Once I scaled back, I was no longer sick. Now I take prenatal vitamins and a flaxseed softgel and I take those everyday.

I take Platinum Natural's Activ-X for women, each bottles gives you a 2-month supply - it isn't cheap at Nutrition House (70$/bottle) And so only use it certain times of the year, otherwise I could probably pass for a Multibionta or something simple along those lines. The Activ-X contains green tea extract, primrose oil and your EFAs along with varying amounts of any nutrients you may need.

I do eat a healthy diet with all food groups but some months of rthe year all depending on which sport I'm training for I need a bit more nutrients than one can get
