The page is utterly beautiful! Why is looking at food so FUN!!??

Good question. I love love love looking at beautiful food pics. I made roasted sweet potatoes with cumin and cayenne pepper last night and posted it, I swear I have looked at that pic 100 times. I guess it is a "foodie" thing.

You inspired me to do the same kinda thing, sweet potatos with cumin and garlic, chicken breast sliced thin and grilled with grilled asparagus last night. mmmmmmmmmm

Thanks, we actually lived here during that whole remodel. It was horrific. We bought a 1970s house and have been remodeling it a little at a time. We love it so much.

And I am envious of those abs of yours, you go girl! Nice body!

That sounds wonderful! Never be shy about posting your own food porn on the page. I love it when people post theirs too. So many people have no idea (believe it or not) how to cook healthy foods.

How did you flavor your chicken? I am looking for a change. We do jerk sauce and anything spicy, as well as Thai chili and a soy/hot/sweet sauce. Got anything different than that?

Posting pics is not my strong point! heh heh heh.

With this dish I just used salt, chicken breast cut very thin and on the flat plate nice and quick, chicken goes much further that way too :)

I'm really into Mexican stuff at the minute and have used fresh salsa and marinated the chicken (used pork this way too) with Lime juice, a dash of fresh squeezed orange juice, diced firm tomato's green or you can use tomatillo's, fresh coriander, a dash of apple vinegar, garlic, eschallots, fresh jalapenos or a little of fresh habanero. Marinate some and keep some aside for dressing later. I serve with a coleslaw (pre-pack) and make the coleslaw sauce with a little of lite sour cream, lime juice salt and pepper whisk together till it's smooth.

I just put the chicken pieces then on the flat grill adding the marinade it was in right at the end once it's caramelised and dress with the sauce I kept aside.

    Damn i'm hungry now! :0)
  • Omg thank you so much. I loooove food porn. Ugh.

I am adding a lasagna made with tofu later. Ricotta has over 400 calories and 20 grams SATURATED! OMG! I use a mixture of tofu, cottage cheese and some light Italian dressing with a little bit of cheese to make the most delicious and healthier lasagna you ever had.

To those who think EEEWW, Tofu, trust me, just try it.
made it a few days ago, also used zucchini instead of noodles. it was divine

Did you use raw zucchini? I am going to make one soon with grilled eggplant. I made a eggplant parm with grilled eggplant that was out of this world. I also did not make a sauce but used grilled tomatoes and onions and layered that with fresh garlic, basil and cheese. There is a pic of that on the page. It has been by far one of the favs by my fans that have made it. It is also way easier and less messy than traditional eggplant parm.

WOW, thank you so much for sharing.

I have been sick this weekend so I have not been able to add to my porn collection but I hope these antibiotics kick in and I can get to this beautiful stalk of brussel sprouts tomorrow.

Great idea! Never thought of roasting it with curry. Haha, we used to dump curry powder in mayo when I was little and dip our cauliflower in it, so I am sure this would be amazing. Thanks for the idea.

Anyone have any ideas for something "different" for dinner tonight? Need some new inspiration.

Haha, you are not a stalker unless you are the reason I have weird hand prints on the window screen outside my dining room,

That does sound good. I have a raspberry vinaigrette that would work well.

I have a gorgeous piece of tuna on there tonight that I cut up into cubes, grilled and put into a spinach and herb tortilla wrap and topped it taco style. It was very good.

Thanks to all the people that are following and helping me figure out these recipes.

Switched the pork to tomorrow and made pizza with a whole wheat crust, homemade sauce, veggie cheese, fresh tomato, basil and garlic. 219 calories per slice. Who says pizza has to be bad?

Only 10 more likes to go before we hit 600!
