Good morning
I survived yesterday but afraid to get on ethe scale, i'm sure I gained it all back. Today is chicken and spinach and extra water. Tomorrow is nutrition and I'm scared.
Marie. I hope to get some real guidance from my nutritionist tomorrow, there are just so many things out there, and I need basics. I know I had a bad weekend as far as food, but I'm ok with that because I know it was nothing compared to what I would have done a year ago and it is done, move forward...I am so happy for you that the Met B is helping you physically feel better and seems to be the right thing for you.
Picadilly - I'm so sorry, I have been dating and one could be a possible keeper but I think... no... I know, I don't ever want to be hurt again and have a hard time letting my guard down. If you ever need to vent... feel free, I am in the same place. I have a family court date for Dec 14th. and that is so very stressful.
Ok off to figure out a plan for the day...

Hi Callie, hope you still remember me, this is your ole' pal Debbie from Ohio. I had a group many months ago and as life would have it, a few things got in the way of my goals. I am home re-cooping from the hospital having had cellulitis and my diabetes is out of control, so with a new mental outlook, I consider this last week to have been my Wake-Up Call and now its Action Time.
I will be getting internet again in my home soon and can be more actively involved in a group and before you were such an inspiration to me. I hope all is well with you and yours, and wanted to Wish You A Blessed Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for those like you that I have met, and equally glad that we have this site to share and inspire and encourage each and every friend to acheive their goals for Good Health!
I promise to do better at keeping in touch, and look forward to a lasting friendship with re-acquainted friends like YOU>

Marie, I am glad your eating program is working so well for you.
Sorry I did not post all weekend. It was a rather sad one for me. Did a lot of running around, a lot of crying, a lot of soul searching. I did get to the gym though so that was good.
Getting serious about my eating this week...even with Thanksgiving around the corner!

wow, what a day, had my interview at 9 and then nutrition appt and just running like crazy all day, i'm so tired.
Well, I got the job! I start Monday, it is great!

I just want to join temporarily to WHIINNNNNE. :sad:
I am cutting carbohydrates this week to prepare for Thanksgiving. By depleting my glycogen, on Thursday the first several hundred calories worth of carbs will go toward replenishing that rather than fat synthesis. I dropped from 40% to 30% yesterday, and today I'm at 25% carbs. Tomorrow I'll drop to 20%, and 10% Wednesday. Between that and the caloric restriction and the fact that I'm increasing my workouts, I'll be depleted by Thursday. Then Friday morning I'm going back to 10% carbs and starting the day with a fasted run.
But I am TIRED. :mad: I haven't done this in a long time and the transition period stinks. Running without carbohydrates is really tough right now. BUT it's TOTALLY worth it cause I'm still gonna look awesome at the end of the week! :drinker:0 -

I did EXCELLENT on my eating yesterday and so far so good today! I had planned on getting up early to do my kickboxing video but my bed was sooooo warm and it was so cold out this morning! I didn't get it done. Maybe tonight I can chase everyone out of the living room and get it done. Tomorrow is my night at the gym so if nothing else...I will get that done.

Awsome job Marie! You did much better than I did! I had just a little of everything...including some pumpkin pie! lol But that is o.k. I suppose. I just need to get back on track now. I am having a hard time getting motivated. This whole breakup thing has knocked the wind right out of my sails and even though I try to be positive, it doesn't seem to stay that way for long. I guess I have to just keep trying and in time I will get back to my motivation. Thanksgiving was a little hard because originally we had talked about that being our wedding day. It was a bit sad to go all day long thinking what might have been and still trying to cook dinner and be there for mom and my kids. Knowing Christmas is coming is not helping either. My youngest will be with his dad this year and my oldest...well he is a whole different story and I doubt he will be around either. I am half tempted to not even put up the tree this year. I am not feeling very festive today. I think I will go to the gym and then to the grocery store....maybe a movie later today.

wow, go away for a couple days and there are changes
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, I sure did and ate tons... so dieting today.... or back on track
I was shopping and getting my car ready to start driving again. 50 miles a day. Left for shopping at 3am and home at 8pm, exhausted but it is all done except for some last minute things that will have to wait for a paycheck.
Today was just getting some stuff done. I've been going to the gym every day and building up on th arch trainer. I was at 20 minutes a week ago and did 40 today. not at my 4mph that i was doing outside, but working on it, now that I wont be able to walk outside with being to work at 7am.
Hope you are all doing well, I'm off to get ready for a little reunion we do every year, on the Sat after Thanksgiving. friend is in a band so we all get together0
