I will be close for me, I did not run this morning as planned, aching foot and getting over-cautious. Running a 5K with a big hill at the end tomorrow in the AM, with son and hubby and friend!!!! Need one more mile after that! It feels like I have returned to my fitness level, before my stress fracture, but somehow I am slower now. Hopefully I can return to the speed I was before.
Needed 15 miler this week, but I think I can do it on Monday!

I came down with a upper respiratory infection Thursday that is kicking my *kitten*. I tried to get my long 18 mile run in Saturday and got to 3 before I decided to run to the Minute Clinic to get checked since my throat was throbbing. Needless to say I am not going to make my monthly 140 miles goal. Grrrrrrr! I am so mad, angry, ashamed, etc. Too bad I couldn't have gotten sick at the beginning of the month instead of the end of the month!
Can I get in on the October one? My training for October has me doing almost 140 miles again, but I am just going to go for 130 since I am still fighting this thing and won't get all the miles in this first week.0 -

Sept total - 140.350 -
I did 8.6 today (2 5Ks - hilly courses - moderate pace - and 2.4 miles of a 10K - my foot/hip started to bother me, so I opted to stop, better safe than sorry).
84 miles - and I made my goal - pretty happy since it is the first month running outside after stress fracture!!! Hopefully, I will continue healing next month, but I am upping my mileage.0 -

I fell sick yesterday so I couldn't do my long run this morning, which would have put me over my goal. So bummed!!! Ended the month just short with 95 total miles. :sad:0

MTD: 45 miles. Got very sick on Friday and missed two long runs this weekend. I was so excited that I would actually meet my goal this month, but I ended up 5 miles short. I would like to rejoin this month for 50, but I'll have a slow start as I am still not up to par.0 -

Much better week this week. Had only 3 runs, but all 3 were pain free, all 3 felt good and the last one was my fasters average pace for a run longer than 10K yet.
Week 1: 7.1 miles
Week 2: 22.2 miles
Week 3: 11.5 miles
Week 4: 17.6 miles

9/26: 5.1 miles
9/29: 8.1 miles (11:30 average pace!)
