Fish and Brussels sprouts. For a long time I thought I hated both. Now I've learned that I just hated the way my parents prepared them.

Greek yogurt... you can make just about anything with it.
  • I started eating Tilapia which is really good and healthy.
Also, I have Oral Allergy Syndrome, so fruits & veggies were always a problem for me. I now can eat salad, carrots, grapes, apples.
Love tuna fish, and I just recently came across Bumble Bee's premium tunas w/ flavors (jalapeno, sun dried tomato, etc) soooooo good mixed in my salads

    Hummus is also really tasty

The list can probably go on and on

Quinoa!! I eat this in place of rice and pasta now. I make a big batch of it on Sunday, and use it in lunches and dinners throughout the week.

^^^^THIS, we are quinoa idiots in this house. I use it for so many things and it is so versicle to soak up different flavors. I can have it with lime/cilantro one day and pineapple/chili peppers the next.

We also started having sweet potato instead of white potato as well. I cut them up, toss with a little EVOO, sprinkle with some cumin and cayenne pepper, pop them into a 350 oven for 30 minutes and OMG so good!

i can't believe I thought I didn't like mushrooms! In an effort to add more and different tastes to my meals without sauces or condiments, I decided to experiment with foods that have strong flavors. I learned that i LOVE mushrooms! (if they are cooked right and not slimy)

Quinoa as well, in place of rice and pasta.
    Greek yogurt instead of regular.
Almond milk (mostly because I am allergic to milk).
    Chia seeds.

I've also learned how to make my own yummy salad dressings, healthy muffins and other substitutions!
