i can't believe I thought I didn't like mushrooms! In an effort to add more and different tastes to my meals without sauces or condiments, I decided to experiment with foods that have strong flavors. I learned that i LOVE mushrooms! (if they are cooked right and not slimy)

Quinoa as well, in place of rice and pasta.
    Greek yogurt instead of regular.
Almond milk (mostly because I am allergic to milk).
    Chia seeds.

I've also learned how to make my own yummy salad dressings, healthy muffins and other substitutions!

Almond milk! I never knew I was slightly lactose intolerant until I gave up milk and my stomach problems were gone! Luckily it's not too bad since I still can eat the occasional yogurt and cheese without issue. But the half gallon of milk a day was killing me.

Quinoa!! I eat this in place of rice and pasta now. I make a big batch of it on Sunday, and use it in lunches and dinners throughout the week.

Me too! I'd never even heard of Quinoa before and all of a sudden it's all over the place! So easy to make and goes with so many things!

quinoa, PB2 and chocolate PB2, egg whites (obviously knew about them, but had never eaten just the whites before), unsweetened almond milk, whey protein powder, Greek yogurt (thought all yogurt was the same and I don't like regular yogurt, but LOVE the Greek stuff, lol), won ton wrappers, and several recipes that are awesome like mixing box cake mix with a can of pumpkin, mmmm

Everyone took my favorites, (quinoa, avocado, califlower mash, berries.......)
So I looked in the fridge and found one very obvious one.

    Eggs!

prefferably straight from a farm that I know they are outside during the day.
But Free range, organic, simple eggs give me so much nutrition and energy.
Scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes or half grapefruit is my brain food.

Does juice count as a "food" here? I've been juicing fruits/veggies lately. Easy way for me to get nutrients and whatnot from veggies and fruits I don't care for.

And using the juicer is a little fun too... okay, a lot of fun.
